To measure the GPS position accuracy and its distribution according to the length of the baseline, 30 minutes to 24 hours observations at the fixed location were conducted with two GPS receivers (Ll, 12 channels) on May 29 to June 2, 2002. The GPS data received at the reference station, the rover station and the ordinary times GPS observation station operated by the National Geography Institute in Korea were processed in kinematic and static post-processing methods with a post -processing software. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1. The number of the satellite that could be observed continuously more than six hours was 16 and most of these satellites were positioned at east-west direction on May 31, 2002. The number of the satellite observed and the geometric dilution of precision (GDOP) determined by the average of every 10 minute for the day were 8 and 3.89, respectively. 2. Both the average GPS positions before and after post-processing were shifted (standalone: 1.17 m, post -processing: 0.43m) to the south and west. The twice distance root mean square (2drms) measured with standalone was 6.65m. The 2drms could be reduced to 33.8% (standard deviation 0=17.2) and 5.3% (0=2.2) of standalone by the kinematic and the static post-processing methods, respectively. 3. The relationship between the length of the baseline x (km) and the 2drms y (m) obtained by the static post-processing method was y=0.00l6x+0.006 $(R^2=0.87)$. In the case of the positioning with the static post-processing method using the GPS receiver, it was found that a positioning within 20cm 2drms was possible when the length of the baseline was less than 100km and the receiving time of the GPS is more than 30 minutes.

More recently, multiple reference based RTK GPS techniques(VRS : Virtual Reference System) are becoming increasingly important for many precise GPS applications in many countries to overcome the constrained distance limitations of standard RTK systems. The precision of the position solutions of the rover receiver is closely connected with that of the corresponding virtual reference points(VRPs). The objective of this paper is to investigate the accuracy and performance of the VRPs on the test network for static positioning in post processing mode. For this, some VRPs at the inside and outside of test network have made in post mode, and the overall analysis results were presented by comparing the solution for the VRPs from the existed GPS reference station with the true values of the coordinates used to produce the observation data. The results show the reasonable accuracies of VRPs in the network area by using the VRS concept in post mode.

This study aims to extract key topics through text mining of incident records (incident history, post-incident measures, preventive measures) from construction safety accident case data available on the public data portal. It also seeks to provide fundamental insights contributing to the establishment of manuals for disaster prevention by identifying correlations between these topics. After pre-processing the input data, we used the LDA-based topic modeling technique to derive the main topics. Consequently, we obtained five topics related to incident history, and four topics each related to post-incident measures and preventive measures. Although no dominant patterns emerged from the topic pattern analysis, the study holds significance as it provides quantitative information on the follow-up actions related to the incident history, thereby suggesting practical implications for the establishment of a preventive decision-making system through the linkage between accident history and subsequent measures for reccurrence prevention.

As the technology of machine learning and deep learning became common, it began to be applied to research on anomaly(abnormal) detection of industrial control systems. In Korea, the HAI dataset was developed and published to activate artificial intelligence research for abnormal detection of industrial control systems, and an AI contest for detecting industrial control system security threats is being conducted. Most of the anomaly detection studies have been to create a learning model with improved performance through the ensemble model method, which is applied either by modifying the existing deep learning algorithm or by applying it together with other algorithms. In this study, a study was conducted to improve the performance of anomaly detection with a post-processing method that detects abnormal data and corrects the labeling results, rather than the learning algorithm and data pre-processing process. Results It was confirmed that the results were improved by about 10% or more compared to the anomaly detection performance of the existing model.

In order to diagnose low-level turbulence in Korea, diagnostic indices of low-level turbulence were calculated from Aug 2016 to Jul 2019 using a Korea Meteorological Administration Post Precessing (KMAPP) developed by the National Institute Meteorological Sciences (NIMS), and the indices were evaluated using Aircaft Meteorological Data Relay (AMDAR). In the mean horizontal distribution of diagnostic indices calculated, severe turbulence was simulated along major domestic mountains, including near the Taebaek Mountains, the Sobaek Mountains and Hallasan Mountain on Jeju Island due to geographical factors. Later, detection performance was evaluated by calculating the KMAPP Low-Level Turbulencd index (KLT) on combined index, using AUC value of Individual diagnostic indices as a weight. The result showed that the AUC value of KLT was 0.73, and the detection performance was improved (0.02-0.13) when the index was combined. Also, when looking for the AMDAR data is divided into years, seasons, and altitudes, up to 0.94 AUC values were found in winter (DJF) and the surface (surface-1,000ft). By using high-resolution numerical data reflecting detailed terrain data, local turbulence distribution was well demonstrated and high detection performance was shown at low-level.
Since the result data from DNA microarray experiments contain a lot of gene expression information, adequate analysis methods are required. Hierarchical clustering is widely used for analysis of gene expression profiles. In this paper, we study leaf-ordering, which is a post-processing for the dendrograms output by hierarchical clusterings to improve the efficiency of DNA microarray data analysis. At first, we analyze existing leaf-ordering algorithms and then present new approaches for leaf-ordering. And we introduce a software HCLO(Hierarchical Clustering & Leaf-Ordering Tool) that is our implementation of hierarchical clustering, some of existing leaf-ordering algorithms and those presented in this paper.
This paper proposes a three-dimensional (3D) segmentation algorithm for extracting a diagnostic object from ultrasound images by using a LoG operator In the proposed algorithm, 2D cutting planes are first obtained by the equiangular revolution of a cross sectional Plane on a reference axis for a 3D volume data. In each 2D ultrasound image. a region of interest (ROI) box that is included tightly in a diagnostic object of interest is set. Inside the ROI box, a LoG operator, where the value of $\sigma$ is adaptively selected by the distance between reference points and the variance of the 2D image, extracts edges in the 2D image. In Post processing. regions of the edge image are found out by region filling, small regions in the region filled image are removed. and the contour image of the object is obtained by morphological opening finally. a 3D volume of the diagnostic object is rendered from the set of contour images obtained by post-processing. Experimental results for a tumor and gall bladder volume data show that the proposed method yields on average two times reduction in error rate over Krivanek's method when the results obtained manually are used as a reference data.

This paper presents an implementation of a real-time multi-sensor data fusion algorithm for Flight Test Computer. The sensor data consist of positional information of the target from a radar, a GPS receiver and an INS. The data fusion algorithm is designed by the 21st order distributed Kalman Filter which is based on the PVA model with sensor bias states. A fault detection and correction logics are included in the algorithm for bad measurements and sensor faults. The statistical parameters for the states are obtained from Monte Carlo simulations and covariance analysis using test tracking data. The designed filter is verified by using real data both in post processing and real-time processing.

In multi-user MIMO systems, a base station transmits multiple data to multi-user simultaneously in order to improve performance and bandwidth efficiency. When the base station transmits multiple data to multi-user simultaneously, multi-user interference occurs severely. In this paper, we define a post-processing leakage as the total power leaked from desired user to all other users after combining at the output of each user. Using concept of the post-processing leakage, we also define a performance metric, the so called signal-to-post-processing-leakage-plus-noise ratio (SPPLNR). Assuming that the receiver is the minimum mean square error (MMSE) receiver, we propose an iterative SPPLNR-based beamforming that determines beamforming vectors and combining vectors by using an iterative method. The proposed scheme does not impose a condition on the relation between the number of transmit antennas for the base station and the number of receive antennas for users. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme outperforms a beamforming scheme perfectly eliminating the multi-user interference when channel estimation error exists.

MMS(Mobile Mapping System) generates a efficient image data for mapping and facility management. However, this image data of MMS has many difficulties in a practical use because of huge data volume. Therefore the important information likes road sign post must be extracted from huge MMS image data. In Korea, there is the HMS(Highway Management System) to manage a national road that acquire the line and condition of road from the MMS images. In the HMS each road sign information is manually inputted by the keyboard from moving MMS. This manually passive input way generate the error like inaccurate position, mistaking input in this research we developed the automatic road sign identifying technique using the image processing and the direct geo-referencing by GPS/INS data. This development brings not only good flexibility for field operations, also efficient data processing in HMS.
