City culture resources are critical elements to city brand strategies for improving city attraction and provide much contribution to induce visitors from competitive city. A city brand needs to be distinguished and differentiated from competing cities because they are all engaged in the similar environment of city. The differentiation of brand achievement has become increasingly important to highlight certain brand functions to include emotional, self-expressive, and symbolic functions since the importance of such functions has been further emphasized in promoting tourism activities. In particular, That is the recent role of city brand personality that has been emphasized in city management. In other words, visitors now freely and actively express their personalities or egos in tourism activities, taking an important role in construction of a brand asset. The study examines how culture resources affect city brand personality, relationship quality, and city brand royalty in the tourism city. The authors test the proposed model using data from Jeju tourists. The pivotal findings via the structural equation model in the study are as follows; 1) culture resources have been classified culture programs, culture infra, human resources, 2) The city brand personality has been classified as innovativeness, peacefulness, sophistication, confidence and dynamics; 3) The culture resources influenced on the city brand personality; 4) The city brand personality influenced on the satisfaction and involvement; 5) The satisfaction and involvement influenced on the loyalty. Results from the empirical study indicates that culture resources have a strong positive impaction on city brand personality. To increase tourist' royalty of city brand personality, managements must manage culture effectively and create friendly city brand personality to in accord with tourist needs.

Purpose: To synthesize and identify the studies that delineated the relationship between empowerment and job satisfaction in clinical nurses in Korea. Methods: Electronic databases were searched, including KmBase, KoreaMed. riss4u, National Assembly Digital Library and National Discovery for Science Leaders (NDSL) The search terms included nurse, satisfaction and empowerment. Only papers published in Korean were included. Results: Twelve studies, from 156 references screened, were included the final analysis. All studies were non-experimental and used correlational analysis. A significant positive relationship between structural or psychological empowerment and job satisfaction was found. Older nurses with longer clinical experience and higher education background were more likely to have high level of structural and psychological empowerment and job satisfaction. Conclusion: The study results indicate that to produce an empowering work environment, nurse managers have to create a supportive organizational culture, and provide access to resources and opportunity as well as to strengthen emotional support.

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of the resilience of families of middle-aged married men upon the perception of family stress. The subjects were 301 married men age 40.54 living in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, Korea. Participants were selected using a purposive sampling method and a convenience sampling method. The data were statistically processed using the SPSS 18.0 program. First, participants who perceived family stress less and had higher family resilience tended to be better educated, have higher average family incomes, have permanent employment, be religious, and have no experience of unemployment. Participants who had low-paying, physical labor-based jobs or who were contract workers perceived family stress more and had lower family resilience. Second, among the variables that affected family resilience, those that most influenced the perceptual extent of family stress were the sense of belief system's family control, having a positive perspective, flexibility with regard to morality, religion, and organizational patterns, connectivity, family resources, communication-oriented mutual cooperative problem-solving, and emotional response. Third, the influence of family resilience upon the perception of family stress measured at 44.2% based on regression analysis and was statistically significant (F=4.606, ***p<.001).
Service learning usually has two aspects. One aspect is associated with applying class learning to related fields. The other aspect is associated with challenging and dynamic volunteering experiences. This study examined experiences of 70 social work students who took service learning courses at a university. After the courses, these students were asked regarding (1) evaluation and satisfaction of overall service learning experiences, (2) evaluation of service learning contents and the following activities, (3) the process of volunteering activities, and (4) the differences between service learning courses and other regular courses. Results were as follows: students generally regarded service learning experiences as positive; students reported understanding of social work practice and learning of professional skills; however, the service learning courses seemed to be very demanding in time and adjusting personal schedules; teamwork among students seemed to be good, especially in cooperation and emotional support; however, some students reported struggling experiences in allocating roles among team members; finally, the relationship between students and social workers at the agencies and the coordination of community resources seemed to be weak. In order for service learning courses to be more effective, this study presented some suggestions in the conclusion.
This study redefines 'consumer privacy attitude and behavior discrepancy' that occurs in the transaction environment that exists between consumer and provider as 'consumer privacy paradox.' In this study, qualitative research was conducted based on grounded theory. This study explored how consumers react to a privacy paradox as well as looked into how to adapt to the negative and positive results that can be generated by the privacy paradox. 'Consumer privacy paradox' is the same as the existing privacy paradox in that consumers can utilize the resources of personal information to consume and benefit from the market environment. However, it differs from previous studies in that it examines the privacy paradox in terms of consumer influence and consumer experience. The results of the study are as follows. First, a paradigm model of the consumer privacy paradox was derived. Second, consumers used three types of strategies to rationalize themselves or maintain indifference or relief to cope with the consumer privacy paradox. Third, the possibility of damage and the responsibility for privacy protection were the mediators of the consumer privacy paradox. Fourth, the 'result' generated by the consumer privacy paradox showed four types of: non-response, satisfaction, commitment to change, and negative emotional experience. Fifth, there is a difference in strategies to respond to the consumer privacy paradox according to consumer types.

A social enterprise is an enterprise that pursues a social purpose with financial resources obtained through its own profit-making activities.. In a rapidly changing market environment, it is becoming increasingly difficult for social enterprises to maintain sustainability. Due to the poor and limited resources of social enterprises, the core competency of human resources is the most important point. In order for social enterprises to maintain their sustainability, it is very urgent to create conditions so that workers can stably commit themselves in their work. Therefore, this study tried to increase the sustainability of social enterprises by empirically analyzing the factors that affect job commitment among workers of social enterprises. As factors affecting job commitment, job fit and organizational justice factors were derived. In addition, the moderating effect of emotional leadership was also analyzed in the relationship between them. For this, a questionnaire survey was conducted on employees of social enterprises and 260 valid samples were used for the analysis. The empirical analysis results were as follows. Job knowledge, job skill, job experience, job desire as sub-factors of job fit, and distributive justice, procedural justice, which were sub-factors of organizational justice, had a significant positive (+) effect on job commitment. The impact of influence was in the order of procedural justice, job experience, job desire, distributive justice, job skill, and job knowledge. On the other hand, the significance of interactional justice was not tested. Emotional leadership was analyzed to play a moderating role between job knowledge, job skill, job desire, distributive justice, procedural justice and job commitment. However, moderating effect were not tested between job experience, interactional justice and job commitment. The results of this empirical study expanded the scope of existing job-related studies by empirically analyzing the factors affecting job commitment within the category of social enterprises at the academic level. At the psychological level, job experience was found to be one of the most important factors among various influencing factors. Significant implications necessary for future training for workers and implementation of various systems were presented.
This study has developed STEAM educational program designed to cultivate topophilia using Jeonbuk educational resources and applied the program to a science camp. Topophilia is a sense of attachment and nostalgia towards one's birth place and specific objects, which can create positive affection and act as motivations for learning to the students. We developed a 32-hour STEAM program which consisted of 8 experiential activities and 2 travel programs including Gochujang, Hanok Village, a reverse ice spikes in Mai Mountain, and art works by Choi Book. In particular, we emphasized the fun of class, voluntary learning, and process of attaching significance by providing aesthetic and emotional experience of synesthesia. As a result of application, the students' level of confidence(Likert scale level 4, 2.5 points) in science and the level of interests(3.3 points) have improved. The pleasant experience of voluntary learning and active participation in class provided meaningful memories through value recognition and significance ascription. 93.3% of the students participated said they would recommend the Topophilia science camp to their peers. The level of satisfaction overall was 3.8 points(Likert scale level 5) and the program received positive evaluations that the class was fun and interesting(4.1 points).
This study investigates the effects of authentic leadership and organizational supports on the organizational citizens behavior of public welfare facility employee. Structural equation model with four latent variables were constructed to test the hypothetical relationships between variables. Out of 230 people from welfare facilities in Yong-in City were sampled and 216 were answered the questionnaire. Results suggests that authentic leadership and organizational support perceptions were shown to have a positive(+) significant effects on the job engagement and organizational citizenship behavior. Authentic leadership and perceived organizational support are effected as a direct positive effect on job engagement, and the influence of perceived organizational support was recognized as greater fact than the authentic leadership. Variable 'job engagement' took a intermediating role between two independent variables and organizational citizenship behavior. Based on the hypothesis test results we might conclude that welfare facility employee whose task require emotional engagement need to be supported by systematic plan of material resources.
The purpose of this study was to examine whether parental beliefs, value of children, and filial obligation were related. The subjects were 748 students(male 323, female 425) who were currently enrolled at university located in Seoul. The instruments used for this study were Filial Obligation Scale(Cho, 2002), Parenting Beliefs Questionnaire, and Value of Children by Arnold et al.(1975, 2001). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlations by SPSS PC Program. The results showed that university students generally demonstrated a higher level of individual-oriented beliefs than relation-oriented beliefs on parental beliefs. With regard to parental beliefs, family relation-oriented beliefs was relatively low in comparison with independence/autonomy-oriented beliefs, happiness-oriented beliefs, and cognition/knowledge-oriented beliefs. In addition, emotional value of children was relatively high in comparison with instrumental value of children. Also, male university students possessed a higher level of filial obligation. the level of cohabitation experience with their parents played a significant role in affecting the level of filial obligation. Unsurprisingly, a higher relation-oriented parental beliefs and emotional value of children demonstrated a higher level of filial obligation. There were also positive relationships between emotional value, instrumental value, and filial obligation. Hence, this study suggests that a practical, functional training services and resources for future parents must be ensued.
Background and objective: The prolonged COVID-19 pandemic has had significant impacts on mental health, which has emerged as a major public health issue around the world. This study aimed to analyze trends and network structure of 'grow-your-own (GYO)' through Instagram, one of the most influential social media platforms, to encourage and sustain home gardening activities for promotion of emotional support and physical health. Methods: A total of 6,388 posts including keyword hashtags '#gyo' and '#growyourown' on Instagram from June 13, 2020 to April 13, 2021 were collected. Word embedding was performed using Word2Vec library, and 7 clusters were identified with K-means clustering: GYO, garden and gardening, allotment, kitchen garden, sustainability, urban gardening, etc. Moreover, we conducted social network analysis to determine the centrality of related words and visualized the results using Gephi 0.9.2. Results: The analysis showed that various combinations of words, such as #growourrownfood, #growourrownveggies, and #growwhatyoueat revealed preference and interest of users in GYO, and appeared to encourage their activities on Instagram. In particular, #gardeningtips, #greenfingers, #goodlife, #gardeninglife, #gardensofinstagram were found to express positive emotions and pride as a gardener by sharing their daily gardening lives. Users were participating in urban gardening through #allotment, #raisedbeds, #kitchengarden and we could identify trends toward self-sufficiency and sustainable living. Conclusion: Based on these findings, it is expected that the trend data of GYO, which is a form of urban gardening, can be used as the basic data to establish urban gardening plans considering each characteristic, such as the emotions and identity of participants as well as their dispositions.
