  • The aim of this study is to analyze determinant factor on the strike action among hospital laborer in Korea. We collected data for 10days from 12 to 22 July, 2013. This study was surveyed 405 laborer in university hospital was located in the Seoul city and Gyeonggi-do. It was found as follow. There was statistically significant difference in the strike propensity and sub-domain on the job dissatisfaction by sex, age, education, wedding, occupation, position, salary, number of years of employment, position in labor union for strike action(p<0.05). From the multiple regression analysis, it was found that determinant factor on the strike action was occupation, strike propensity(sense of duty, after vote, depend on compensation) which was statistically significant difference(p<0.05). As a result, we suggest that hospital administrator must solve the problem related welfare benefits and personnel system in university hospital for preventing strike.

  • The electrons injected into a laser wakefield undergo betatron oscillation and give rise to the emission of intense X-ray radiation. To investigate the generation conditions of the X-rays, the relativistic motion of an electron injected in an off-axis position has been simulated with wakefield profiles which are pre-calculated with a two-dimensional particle-in-cell code. The wakefield with a plasma density of $1.78{\times}10^{18}\;cm^{-3}$ is generated by the laser with an intensity of $1.37{\times}10^{18}\;W/cm^2$ and a pulse width of 30 fs. From the calculation of the single particle motion, the characteristics of the betatron radiation are investigated in the time domain. As the transverse injection position increases, the power and the duration time of the radiation increase, but the width of each pulse decreases.

  • In Korean, 'Aspiration Merger' is the result of the heteromorphemic sequence of lenis stop and /h/ becoming a single aspirated stop word-medially. However, the contrast between lenis stop-plus-/h/ and an underlying aspirated stop is maintained when they span Phonological Phrase boundaries. By varying the position in the prosodic domain such as APP (Across Phonological Phrase) and PPM (Phonological Phrase Medial) positions, the phonetic properties of the two categories are compared. In the results from noise duration and change of intensity, lenis stop-plus-/h/ show a large difference between the APP and PPM positions. The results from a noise duration comparison show that the two categories are completely neutralized into aspirated stop in the PPM position and the complete neutralization is sensitive to prosodic phrasing.

  • Many control techniques have been proposed in order to improve the control performance of discrete-time domain control system. In the position control system using a DC servo motor as a driver, the response-characteristic of system is controlled by the PID controller. In the PID control system, the transient response characteristic is more increased and settling time gets longer if gains of PID controller are unsuitable. In this paper, therefore, a expended PID control system is constructed by inserting a pre-compensator at output terminal of PID controller. It is implemented by using the double layers neural network. Form the results of computer simulation in the proposed control algorithm, its usefulness is verified.

  • This paper presents two voltage domain stacking topologies for powering integrated digital loads such as multiprocessors or 3D integrated circuits. Pairs of loads and capacitors are connected in series to form a stack of voltage domains. The voltage is balanced by switching the position of the capacitors in one case and the position of the loads in the other case. This method makes the voltage regulation robust to large differential load power consumption. The first configuration can be named the load stacking topology. The second configuration can be named the capacitor stacking topology. This paper aims at proposing and comparing these two topologies. Models of both topologies and a switching scheme are presented. The behavior, control scheme, losses and overall performance are analyzed and compared theoretically in simulation and experiments. Experimental results show that the capacitor stacking topology has better performance with a 30% voltage ripple reduction.

  • A frequency-domain, system-identification method using a binary multifrequency signal was developed to find the transfer function between smoke intensity and throttle position in a diesel engine. This paper describes the simulation study performed to test the identification method developed. With an assumption of a diesel operation in a limited region about the normal operating state, the linear theory was adopted. Because that air fuel ratio is one of the most important operating variables causing smoke production in diesel combustion, single-input and single-output model was adopted.

  • In this paper, by means of Lyapunov second method, the stability of IPD control servo systems is analyzed in the time domain for the first time. Based on the results of the stability analysis, the design rule to select the gain of IPD control is suggested such that the maximum error of output to the nominal system is guaranteed for all uncertainty and load variations. An example of a position control of a brushless dc motor is given to prove the unusefulness of the gain design rule.

  • This paper presents a one cycle R&D project regarding the large inertia platform servo control system. The steps followed the rather orthodox procedure. A serial double rate-loop was closed with a position loop, and acceleration velocity anticipatory compensations were designed in the forward path. Some appropriate compensation devices were utilized for the signal processing as well as for the better control quality. Simulations and experimental tests were repeated, and satisfactory performances were observed. However, frequency domain uncertainties inherent to the large structures still remain as an expertise supported subject.

  • Microphone is the first link in the speech recognition system. Depending on its type and mounting position, the microphone can significantly distort the spectrum and affect the performance of the speech recognition system. In this paper, characteristics of the speech signal for different microphones and microphone distances are investigated both in time and frequency domains. In the time domain analysis, the average signal-to-noise ration is measure ration is measured for the database we collected depending on the microphones and microphone distances. Mel-frequency spectral coefficients and mel-frequency cepstrum are computed to examine the spectral characteristics. Analysis results are discussed with our findings, and the result of recognition experiments is given.
