  • This paper propose triangular fuzzy membership function to make model that based on awareness of human in the love model that with external force, which have the basic love model of Romeo and Juliet. This paper represents the phenomena of behaviors by time series and phase portraits after using this fuzzy triangular membership function as an external force and also confirms existence of nonlinear characteristics.

  • The vibration of a flexible cantilever tube with nonlinear constraints when it is subjected to flow internally with fluids is examined by experimental and theoretical analysis. These kinds of studies have been performed to find the existence of chaotic motion. In this paper, the important parameters of the system leading to such a chaotic motion such as Young's modulus and the coefficient of viscoelastic damping are discussed. The parameters are investigated by means of system identification so that comparisons are made between numerical analysis using the design parameters and the experimental results. The chaotic region led by several period-doubling bifurcations beyond the Hopf bifurcation is also re-established with phase portraits, bifurcation diagram and Lyapunov exponent so that one can define optimal parameters for system design.

  • This study was undertaken to investigate the flow characteristics of emulsified fuel with the ultrasonic energy-adding system by using the chaotic method. Efffcts of water contents within emulsified fuel, flow rate and tube length with 5m in diameter from an emulsified chamber has been discussed on the strange attractor and power spectral density function. Five probe sensors were set up from 0.5 to 2.5m by length in 0.5m increments in the tube. In particular, the chaotic features of this system have been practically characterized in terms of chaotic statistics such as the power spectral density function and phase space portraits by resorting to the somewhat noble deterministic chaos theory. In the tube, the dominant frequency increased with increasing water contents and flow rate, but decreased a little with an increase in the length from the emulsified chamber.

  • In common approaches, bridge dynamics under wind action is analyzed by modeling the interaction between fluid and structure by means of transient wind loads acting over the structure itself. Amid various possible manners to describe such types of loads, a representation based on families of 'indicial functions' is adopted here. The aim is to investigate its flexibility to capture the main features of wind-bridge interaction. A set of coefficients is involved in indicial functions. The values that one may attribute to them suffer uncertainties coming from experimental errors affecting data. Here, the sensitivity of a 2-DOF schematic model to the variations of these coefficients is investigated at fixed values of dynamic derivatives and for various types of indicial functions. It is shown how parameter variations influence phase portraits.

  • This study investigates the portrait paintings of the Chosun period and the Death Records of the Chosun-dynasty Sillok in an effort to find new methods to apply to character design. The basis of this study were 42 figures from a group of portrait paintings from the late Goryeo period to the Chosun dynasty of the 25th King, Chul-Jong. First, Chinese letters illustrating the personalities in the Death Records were classified into five groups based on the Big Five theory, which divides personalities into the Big Five Personality Traits of extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness. Secondly, a representative facial image was created through a morphing technique after extracting the portraits using a method that relied on the high frequency of the appearance of specific Chinese letters related to each personality type.

  • The orbit characteristics and perturbation effects of an artificial satellite with critical inclination have been studied. The critical inclination problem in artificial satellite theory is treated as Ideal Resonance Problem(IRP). The KITSAT-1 satellite launched by Arian 42P at Guiana in August 11, 1992 has orbital inclination close to the critical value cos-1(1/√5). In that case, there is a singularity in some perturbation terms and perigee of the orbit is fixed because d$\omega$/dt is theoretically equal to zero. But actually the long periodic behaviour in argument of perigee, $\omega$ shows a small oscillation. The causes of the oscillation and the relativistic effect in IRP have been studied and applied to the KITSAT-1. The geo-potential perturbation terms which are seperated inclination terms have been obtained using Algebraic manipulation. Also luni-solar disturbing funtion based on the relative position of the sun, moon, and satellite has been obtained. Phase portraits are used to depict the change of eccentricity and grgument of perigee. The variations of each orbital elements have been obtained in case of the KITSAT-1.

  • Premature Ventricular Contraction(PVC) arrhythmia is most common abnormal-heart rhythm that may increase mortal risk of a cardiac patient. Thus, it is very important issue to identify the specular portraits of PVC pattern especially from the patient. In this paper, we propose a new method to extract the characteristics of PVC pattern by applying K-means machine learning algorithm on Heart Rate Variability depicted in Poinecare plot. For the quantitative analysis to distinguish the trend of cluster patterns between normal sinus rhythm and PVC beat, the Euclidean distance measure was sought between the clusters. Experimental simulations on MIT-BIH arrhythmia database draw the fact that the distance measure on the cluster is valid for differentiating the pattern-traits of PVC beats. Therefore, we proposed a method that can offer the simple remedy to identify the attributes of PVC beats in terms of K-means clusters especially in the long-period Electrocardiogram(ECG).

  • Love which is one of the emotional of mankind, has been studied in sociology and psychology as a matter of grate concern. In this paper we represent romantic behaviors in the love equation of Romeo and Juliet as time series and phase portraits in the case of with and without time delay. And we also analyze their difference.
