응급의료체계와 스포츠손상에서 휴대용 X-ray 장치의 도입 필요성 (The Necessary of Portable X-ray Equipment for Emergency Medical Service System and Sports Injures)

  • The fate of a emergency patient is decided upon the extent of first aid in one hour after accident. Suitable diagnosis and treatment can raise the possibility of patient's life and reduce the recuperation time. We surveys papers which were The Korean Society Of Sports Medicine(1993-2004 yeas 405papers)and The Korean Society Of Emergency Medicine (1990-2004 yeas 797 papers). This paper got the following results through analyses of problems in emergency medical service system and of injures from sports. First, portable X-RAY equipment is needed to apply it to emergency. Second, it should have small and light structure compared with old equipments and have high voltage generator unit for X-RAY using inverter. Third, it should be able to send the shot data that is digital detector type without film to doctors in emergency center.

독립 전원설비에서의 접지방법 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study of Ground System improvement on Isolated Power Generation)

  • In construction sites, portable generators and electrical equipments cause frequently electrical accidents due to the poor condition of their usage. However, there are very few technical guidelines on these equipments even though they have serious accident causing potentiality. In order to reduce such accidents in practical and economical, grounding methods are studied in this paper as the countermeasure of electrical accidents. Several Korean national standards and international standards regarding three grounding types are compared each other, and some prevention means of electrical accidents are reviewed in this study. This paper presents the most effective grounding methods by assuming the WCS with the isolated power systems.

다인병실에서 이용되는 방사선원의 종류에 따른 공간선량률 분석 (Analysis of the Spatial Dose Rates According to the Type of Radiation Source Used in Multi-bed Hospital Room)

  • 의료 방사선은 환자의 진단 및 치료를 함에 있어 중대한 이득을 제공하지만 주변인에게 불필요한 피폭을 발생시킨다. 이에 본 연구에서는 환자와 일반인이 같은 공간 내 상주하는 다인 병실에 대해 선원항의 종류에 따른 공간선량률을 분석하고자 하였다. 실험은 몬테카를로 모의모사(MCNPX)를 이용하였으며, 선원항은 전신 뼈검사 환자와 이동형 X선 발생장치를 모사하였다. 실험결과 전신 뼈검사 환자의 측면 병상 위치에서 약 $3.46{\mu}Sv/hr$의 선량이 나타났으며, 이동형 X선 발생장치를 이용한 실험 결과, 흉부검사 시 측면 병상 위치에서 $1.47{\times}10^{-8}{\mu}Sv/irradiation$, 복부검사 시 측면 병상 위치에서 $2.97{\times}10^{-8}{\mu}Sv/irradiation$ 값이 나타났다. 이처럼 다인병실에서는 주변 환자에게 불필요한 방사선을 발생시키며, 국내의 미흡한 다인 병실의 방사선에 대한 법적인 규제 및 체계적인 차폐 방안이 마련되어져야 할 것이다.

실제 환경에 최적화된 MIFARE Classic 공격 절차 (Optimal MIFARE Classic Attack Flow on Actual Environment)

  • MIFARE Classic is the most popular contactless smart card, which is primarily used in the management of access control and public transport payment systems. It has several security features such as the proprietary stream cipher Crypto 1, a challenge-response mutual authentication protocol, and a random number generator. Unfortunately, multiple studies have reported structural flaws in its security features. Furthermore, various attack methods that target genuine MIFARE Classic cards or readers have been proposed to crack the card. From a practical perspective, these attacks can be partitioned according to the attacker's ability. However, this measure is insufficient to determine the optimal attack flow due to the refined random number generator. Most card-only attack methods assume a predicted or fixed random number, whereas several commercial cards use unpredictable and unfixable random numbers. In this paper, we propose optimal MIFARE Classic attack procedures with regards to the type of random number generator, as well as an adversary's ability. In addition, we show actual attack results from our portable experimental setup, which is comprised of a commercially developed attack device, a smartphone, and our own application retrieving secret data and sector key.

CMOS 공정에 적합한 AlN 압전 마이크로 발전기의 제작 및 특성 (Fabrication of AlN piezoelectric micro power generator suitable with CMOS process and its characteristics)

  • This paper describes the fabrication and characteristics of AlN piezoelectric MPG(micro power generator). The micro energy harvester was fabricated to convert ambient vibration energy to electrical power as a AlN piezoelectric cantilever with Si proof-mass. To be compatible with CMOS process, AlN thin film was grown at low temperature by RF magnetron sputtering and micro power generators were fabricated by MEMS technologies. X-ray diffraction pattern proved that the grown AlN film had highly(002) orientation with low value of FWHM(full width at the half maximum, $\theta=0.276^{\circ}$) in the rocking curve around(002) reflections. The implemented harvester showed the $198.5\;{\mu}m$ highest membrane displacement and generated 6.4 nW of electrical power to $80\;k{\Omega}$ resistive load with $22.6\;mV_{rms}$ voltage from 1.0 G acceleration at its resonant frequency of 389 Hz. From these results, the AlN piezoelectric MPG will be possible to suitable with the batch process and confirm the possibility for power supply in portable, mobile and wearable microsystems.

발전기 폐열 이용 소형 해수담수화장치 개발 (Development of Seawater Distiller utilizing Waste Heat of Portable Electric Generators)

  • 도서지역에서 많이 사용하고 있는 소형 발전기의 폐열을 열원으로 이용하는 소용량 자급형 해수담수화장치의 설계 자료와 성능실험 결과를 제시하였다. 제안된 담수기는 조밀간격 수직형 평행평판이 복수단으로 구성된 다중효용방식으로서, 해수가 흐르는 윅(wick)이 부착되어 있다. 복수단의 평판에서 증발과 응축과정이 반복적으로 일어나므로 열에너지를 재이용하게 되어 담수생산량을 증가시킨다. 제안된 담수기의 성능실험 결과 5.6 kVA 발전기의 폐열이 담수화의 증발열원으로 사용될 수 있음을 알 수 있었고, 1중 효용만으로 최소 6.7 kg/day의 담수를 생산할 수 있었다. 이 결과는 10중 효용의 경우 약 35~44 kg/day를 기대할 수 있는 양으로서, 동일 전열면적의 태양열 증류기의 일일 최대 생산량보다 약 16~4배 많은 것이다.

휴대형 폐기능 검사기 'The Spirokit'의 제작 및 ATS 24/26파형을 통한 성능검증 (Production of Spirometer 'The Spirokit' and Performance Verification through ATS 24/26 Waveform)

  • Background: This study aims to examine the useful- ness of the portable spirometer "The Spirokit" as a clinical diagnostic device through technology introduction, precision test, and correction. Design: Technical note Methods: "The Spirokit" was developed using a propeller-type flow rate and flow rate measurement method using infrared and light detection sensors. The level of agreement between the Pulmonary Waveform Generator and the measured values was checked to determine the precision of "The Spirokit", and the correction equation was included using the Pulmonary Waveform Generator software to correct the error range. The analysis was requested using the ATS 24/26 waveform recognized by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and the American Thoracic Society for the values of Forced Voluntary Capacity (FVC), Forced Expiratory Volume in 1second (FEV1), and Peak Expiratory Flow (PEF), which are used as major indicators for pulmonary function tests. All tests were repeated five times to derive an average value, and FVC and FEV1 presented accuracy and PEF presented accuracy as the result values. Results: FVC and FEV1 of 'The Spirokit' developed in this study showed accuracy within ± 3% of the error level in the ATS 24 waveform. The PEF value of 'The Spirokit' showed accuracy within the error level ± 12% of the ATS 26 waveform. Conclusion: Through the results of this study, the precision of 'The Spirokit' as a clinical diagnosis device was identified, and it was confirmed that it can be used as a portable pulmonary function test that can replace a spirometer.

전하 분리와 축적을 통한 물의 슬로싱 현상 기반 전기에너지 발생 장치 (Water-Sloshing-Based Electricity Generating Device via Charge Separation and Accumulation)

  • Liquid-based Triboelectric nanogenerator (L-TENG) is one of the alternatives to solid-based Triboelectric nanogenerator (S-TENG) because of the absence of surface damage which can decrease the durability of the generator. However, the L-TENG also has an obvious drawback of significantly lower output than that of S-TENG. This article produces water-sloshing-based electricity generating device (W-ED) with a new design of L-TENG that improves electrical output in portable form. The dual-electrode system, consisting of closed-loop circuit and inner electrode which enables water to contact directly in the bottle, can generate the open-circuit voltage and the short-circuit current of up to 348 V and 5.1 mA, respectively. By investigating the motion of water for each frequency, we propose that W-ED is suitable device for a variety of human motions. We expect that W-ED can be applied in small electrical devices or sensors in daily-use items.

Performance and analysis of wireless power charging system from room temperature to HTS magnet via strong resonance coupling method

  • The technology of supplying the electric power by wireless power transfer (WPT) is expected for the next generation power feeding system since it can supply the power to portable devices without any connectors through large air gap. As such a technology based on strongly coupled electromagnetic resonators is possible to deliver the large power and recharge them seamlessly; it has been considered as a noble option to wireless power charging system in the various power applications. Recently, various HTS wires have now been manufactured for demonstrations of transmission cables, motors, MAGLEV, and other electrical power components. However, since the HTS magnets have a lower index n value intrinsically, they are required to be charged from external power system through leads or internal power system. The portable area is limited as well as the cryogen system is bulkier. Thus, we proposed a novel design of wireless power charging system for superconducting HTS magnet (WPC4SM) based on resonance coupling method. As the novel system makes possible a wireless power charging using copper resonance coupled coils, it enables to portable charging conveniently in the superconducting applications. This paper presented the conceptual design and operating characteristics of WPC4SM using different shapes' copper resonance coil. The proposed system consists of four components; RF generator of 370 kHz, copper resonance coupling coils, impedance matching (IM) subsystem and HTS magnet including rectifier system.
