It is time to study safety improvement on container terminals to maintain a high-quality service to customers' productivity and safety. The data analyzed was of the past 3 years accidents data from a container terminal in the Busan port. I especially tried to found out the equipment that had the highest number of accidents and what the main causes were. This study suggests the top hazards identified in the container terminal using risk assessment, Moreover, it seeks control measurements to prevent hazards by bowtie methodology.

The Port logistics is a pivotal industry in strengthening competitiveness for countries and companies and plays an important role in accounting for the majority of Korea's import and export volume, so its importance among Korea's industries is truly enormous. The port, which plays such an important role, is simultaneously unloaded, transferred into the dock, and stored, and it can be said that it is composed of a very complex flow. In particular, port unloading is an environment in which port unloading workers cannot escape the risk of disasters as large cargoes and cranes for container transport move, and numerous disasters are hidden and lead to serious disasters. Through literature studies on the Serious Accident Penalty Act, this study investigated how the Serious Accident Penalty Act affected port unloading workers and whether there was a change in satisfaction with safety education according to the enforcement of the Serious Accident Penalty Act. Through this study, it was found that port unloading workers were more aware of safety than managers in cognitive, attitude, and experience factors. Since the port unloading manager is not put into the unloading work, the perception of safety was analyzed to be lower than that of workers. Since managers should educate workers on safe work and be alert to safety, it seems that port unloading managers will also need to change their perception of safety. The Act on the Punishment of Severe Disasters took effect on January 27, 22, and in the early stages of the enforcement of the law, many confusing and ambiguous parts are found for those in charge of performing practical tasks on the front line until the law is settled. It seems necessary to revise the Act on the Punishment of Severe Disasters for the purpose of clear standards for the law and no safety accidents in the field to prevent confusion in work. In addition, in order to derive more meaningful research results in the future, it is expected that research on the perception of disasters by workers and managers will be continuously needed by deepening literature research to find various factors and using investigation methods such as interviews.

The port of Incheon is very famous of strong current and many curved fairway with exist of many islands around the fairway. Therefore the max size of calling vessel is restricted in 50K DWT with 13.0m draft. However in the near future, half cargo loaded VLCC will call SK energy Dolphin berth for discharging of crude oil. In this connection, this study will evaluate the safety of passing for Dongsudo-fairway by using the shiphandling simulation data that was produced by familiarized training & education for Incheon port pilots about VLCC's maneuvering characters and the fairway of Incheon port.

Yangtze River channel is in natural condition for a long time. There are more to be done in grade of navigation and transport. Since 1980's the rate of vessel in JiangSu channel is going up every year, especially for ocean vessels. Meanwhile, the serious factors such as no sailing at night have become a battlement causing the long period for vessels, high cost for shipowners, lower competitiveness for JiangSu ports along the Yangtze River. It also can not meet the port logistic development. After the Ships' Routeing in JiangSu has been carried out. It has improved the safety of navigation in JiangSu area and reduced the risk of pollution or other damage to the marine environment caused by ships colliding or anchoring in or near JiangSu channel. By analyzing, compareing, calculating and model forecasting. The main focus of the paper is put on the study the development of port, channel in JiangSu and efficiency in many fields. Navigation efficiency of the sailing at night; Safety efficiency of reducing the risk by ships; More efficiency of the higher cargo volumes of the other ports in Yangtze River with the increase cargo volume of JiangSu ports along Yangtze River. The purpose of this study is: To get the social and economical efficiency after the Ships' Routeing in JiangSu has been carried out. Also the role of the Ships' Routeing of JiangSu in the development of Port and Channel.

Incheon Port has many advantages for import of log and timber for furniture. More than 50% of lumber which was imported is through Incheon Port. However, most companies move and set up their business by taking lease of workshop. Because of expensive cost of transportation, it is suggested to construct a lumber Industrial district in the North Port in Incheon. By researching the national plans about the North Port and Incheon Ports, an adequate acquaintance of lumber industry in Incheon has been realized. ills study conducted the economic effect analysis for lumber industry clustering and the necessity of cluster composition is derived. Then effectiveness analysis for lumber industry cluster composition is sequentially operated.

The presentation raises some elements related to marine traffic safety in Sai Gon-Vung Tau fairway with the aim that it could be a basis for further analysis to find out a solution for improving marine traffic safety in the fairway, the most important fairway in the South part of Vietnam.
