The pore structure of paper was modified by the application of the blending of pulp, refining, and filler particle size and ash content. It was conformed that the reflectivity of paper can be modified by the combination of the above parameters. It was also found that the change of reflectivity of paper was greatly dependent on the pore structure, such as average pore size, pore size distribution and porosity. The average pore size was decreased with addition of HwBKP, but the smallest average pore size was obtained from the addition of 80% HwBKP Refining of pulp decreased both average pore size and the reflectivity of paper. The pore size distribution of filled paper can be varied by the combination of filler particle size and ash content
The pore structures of paper were modified by the application of the blending of pulp, refining, and filler particle size and ash content. It was conformed that the reflectivity of paper can be modified by the combination of above parameters. It was also found that the modifications of reflectivity of paper were very close relation with pore structure, such as average pore size, pore size distribution and porosity. The average pore size was decreased with addition of HwBKP, but showed smaller particle size than those made from 100% HwBKP. Refining of pulp decreased both average pore size and the reflectivity of paper. The pore size distribution of filled paper can be varied by the combination of filler particle size and ash content.
The effect of each factor on the porosity and mean pore size of cordierite(2Mg$.$2{{{{ {Al}_{2 } {O }_{3 } }}$.$5{{{{ {SiO}_{2 } }}) ceram-ics which have been mainly used for hot gas filter was investigated by using orthogonal array. The poros-ity was observed to increase with the content of graphite added as pore-forming material and decrease with increasing talc size. The effects of the other factors the graphite size sintering temperature and hold-ing time at sintering temperature were observed to be small relatively. In case of mean pore size the ef-fect of talc size on the mean pore size of cordierity was investigated to be the largest. The mean pore size was observed to increase with increasing talc size.
In this paper, We used the regression model of machine learning for improve the print quantity problem when which print scaffold with 400 ㎛ pore using FDM 3d printer. We have difficult to experiment with changing all factors in the field. So we reduced print quantity by selected two factors that most impact the pore size. We printed and measured scaffold 5 times under same conditions. We created regression model using scaffold pore size and print conditions. We predicted pore size of untested print condition using the regression model. After print scaffold with 400 ㎛ pore, we printed scaffold 5 times under same conditions. We compare the predicted scaffold pore size and the measured scaffold pore size. We confirmed that error is less than 1 % and we verified the results quantitatively.
In this study, monodispersive silica nanoparticles with double mesoporous shells were synthesized, and the pore size of synthetic mesoporous silica nanoparticles was controlled. Cetyltrimethylammonium chloride (CTAC), N, N-dimethylbenzene, and decane were used as soft template and induced to form outer mesoporous shell. The resultant double mesoporous silica nanoparticles were consisted of two layers of shells having different pore sizes, and it has been confirmed that outer shells with larger pores (Mean pore size > 2.5 nm) are formed directly on the surface of the smaller pore sized shell (Mean pore size < 2.5 nm). It was confirmed that the regulation of the molar ratio of pore expansion agents plays a key role in determining the pore size of double mesoporous shells.
In this paper, We need to change all print factors when which print scaffold with 400 ㎛ pore using FDM 3d printer. Therefore the print quantity is 10 billion times, So we are difficult to print on workplace. To solve the problem, we used the prediction model based machine learning regression. We preprocessed and learned the securing print condition data, and we produced different kinds of prediction models. We predicted the pore size of scaffolds not securing with new print condition data using prediction models. We have derived the print conditions that satisfy the pore size of 400 ㎛ among the predicted print conditions of pore size. We printed the scaffolds 5 times on the condition. We measured the pore size of the printed scaffold and compared the average pore size with the predicted pore size. We confirmed that error was less than 1%, and we were identify the model with the highest pore size prediction performance of scaffold.
To analyze the effect of the pore size of graphite in a pore-forming agent, graphite was added to porous ceramics of $Al_2O_3-SiO_2-ZrO_2$ systems. The graphite had 45~75, 100~125, 150~180, and 75~180${\mu}m$ dimensions. The properties of the ceramics, such as apparent porosity, density, dynamic elastic modulus, mechanical strength, and permeability, were investigated. The average pore size increased from 15.35${\mu}m$ to 22.32${\mu}m$ with the increase of the graphite size. The sample with the largest average pore size showed the highest mechanical strength and gas permeability. This was due to the sample with the largest pore size at the same porosity having fewer pores and larger distance between the pores than the sample with the smallest pore size, making cracks less likely to propagate. In addition, the large pore size reduced the repulsive power originating from the drag force between the gas and internal pore walls.
The typical methods of mercury intrusion porosimetry (MIP) and capillary flow porometry (CFP) were used to evaluate the pore size of cross-section of wood and the effect of the pore structure on the permeability of wood was analyzed in this study. The results of this study were as followings: The pore size of wood measured by CFP was larger than that measured by MIP except for Lime tree, Korean red pine and Paulownia. Among the three pore types of porous materials defined by IUPAC (through pores, blind pores, and closed pores), only through pores are related to permit fluid flow. MIP measures the pore size of both through pores and blind pores, while CFP measures the pore size of only constricted through pores. Therefore, pore size measured by MIP was not related to gas permeability, however pore size measured by CFP had a proportional relationship with gas permeability.
In this study, pore-containing barium titanate ceramics were prepared with different porosities and pore sizes, in order to better understand how porosity and pore size affect electrical breakdown of barium titanate ceramics. A granulated barium titanate powder was mixed with three grades of commercial polymer microspheres up to 11wt%. The electrical breakdown test was performed at two different temperatures of 30.deg. C(below Tc) and 150.deg. C(above Tc) for samples immersed in a silicon oil bath using a 60kV de power supply. Electrical breakdown strength of pore containing barium titanate ceramics with porosity lower than 10% decreased as pore size and porosity increased. However, above the 10% porosity region, electrical breakdown strength decreased as the pore connectivity increased. From the experimental results, an optimum electrical breakdown model is proposed in an attempt to explain the effect of pores.
