Effect of Curing Temperature on Mechanical Properties of Polymer Mortar for Urgent Repairing (양생온도가 긴급 보수용 폴리머 모르타르의 역학적 특성에 미치는 영향)

  • This study presents the results of experiments to investigate the effect of polymer type and curing temperature on the mechanical properties of polymer mortar. Setting time of two types of polymers, hardening-delayed polymer(HDP) and rapid hardening polymer(RHP), was tested to check the working time. Additionally, flexural strength, compressive strength, and splitting tensile strength was investigated for mortars using these polymers. From these results, it was confirmed that, irrespective to curing temperature, RHP mortar at the curing age of 24h develops the similar mechanical properties to maximum properties and HDP mortar is more sensitive to the curing temperature. In addition, it should be noted that RHP mortar and HDP mortar are suitable in winter and summer, respectively.

  • As technologies evolve, building large concrete structures ever built, but due to lack of maintenance after completion of concrete corrosion, leaks, and preparedness from the problem that is an urgent need. In particular, water-resistant variety of concrete structures. How the concept applies to the most important public drinking water purification and drinking water that is draining the production and storage, and distribution as the structure cause damage to the structure when the contaminated water is supplied to each home that can harm the health of citizens is the cause. Therefore, the correct choice of materials, and thorough a lot of investment in construction and maintenance should have. In this study, unlike conventional water-proof materials, methods, and in other reactions easily than conventional poly-urea resins have good physical performance and chemical resistance, high performance polyurea resin performance review of the physical infrastructure of the country for the longevity of would like to make long-term durability.

A study on simultaneous injection molding and two-color coating for car gas cap cover (자동차 주유구 커버에 대한 사출성형과 2색 코팅 동시 구현에 관한 연구)

  • Mold design for in-mold coating was carried out to achieve simultaneous injection molding and two-color coating for car gas cap cover. The developed mold includes one core and three cavities which are composed of a substrate cavity and two coating cavities. To provide a sealing edge for complete seal during the second coating, the first coated material was used at the boundary between the first coating and the second one, and injection molded substrate was used at the parting line. The materials used were PC/ABS for substrate and 2-component Polyurea for coating. Through experiments, it was found that the suggested sealing edges were effective for complete seal during the second coating. In cavity pressure traces, there were three peaks caused by mold closing, coating-material injection and cleaning-piston advancement inside the mixing head. The cavity pressure increased with decreasing coating thickness.

  • Tricrecyl phosphate(TCP)-containing polyurea microcapsules were prepared by interfacial polymerization using aromatic 2,4-toluene diisocyanate(TDI) and Ethylene diamine(EDA) as wall forming materials. The effects of the protective colloids of polyvinylalcohol(PVA) and gelatin were investigated through experimentation.
