Study on Use the Metaverse Platform in Fashion Design (패션디자인 분야의 메타버스 플랫폼 활용 연구)

  • Fashion design in the metaverse is not simply a 3D avatar or virtual fashion, it is an important clue for shopping trends, and the role of fashion design has grown even more because avatars and humans are identified and active. This study, I attempts to understand the metaverse platform accurately and find out the scope of fashion design within the metaverse platform. In addition, we want to provide basic data that can expand the field by using fashion design in various ways on the metabus platform. This study investigated and analyzed various metaverse fashion cases, articles, software, and methods used by metaverse fashion creators, and the results are as follows. First, the metaverse platform is a new level of virtual interaction where users and creators communicate through the convergence of augmented reality, lifelogging, mirror world, and virtual world. Second, most of the users of the metaverse platform are generation Z, and metaverse creators who make money by producing avatars or items, including fashion design, are emerging as a new job field. Third, many fashion brands created spaces on the Metaverse platform, collaborated with games, or opened fashion weeks for publicity, marketing, and sales. Fourth, as a 3D program for metaverse fashion creator activities, open-source software is easier and free of charge compared to programs for fashion design specialists, and most costumes can be reproduced, so it will be easier for fashion design majors to utilize.

  • Technological innovation can be both an opportunity and a crisis to take the initiative in the ecosystem, and companies are constantly competing to lead the platform within the ecosystem, including innovation in new products and services, absorption or integration of related industries. To cope with this rapid change in the environment today, it is essential to define the corporate ecosystem and platform business, and to understand the role and characteristics of users. This study seeks to conduct research on the usefulness, enjoyment, technicality, facilitation conditions, and causes of social impact on platform service loyalty to users of Kakao services. And this study will enable platform service providers through apps to use them as the basis for building business strategies in the service introduction phase.

  • It is important to retrieve information that a user requires on the web. The web is an open system. The amount of information is increasing rapidly. While each of information was compiled into the database piece at a single platform in the past, it is now compiled into complicated structure at a multi-platform. Restructuring the multi-platform database is needed to efficiently retrieve information. MIRAS(Meta Information Retrieval Agent System) has a multi-platform database on web. This study applies the classification of the existent site's categories to restructure the database systematically. The empirical analysis shows that the suggested method is effective for information retrieval and multi-platform database restructuring. This study helps users to save on time-cost of searching information.

  • In the study, an XML based platform is presented for LED dimming control. The XML platform is designed in an open architecture, providing with interoperability and scalability. Also, it enables the accommodation of off-the-shelf wired and wireless communication protocols and make it fast and easy to implement various application programs for LED dimming, comparing to the legacy platforms. In the study, a test best has been built for demonstration of the merits of the XML platform with dimming control by responding to the scenario of demand response event. Benefit calculation of the power saving and incentive from demand response shows the applicability and usefulness of the XML platform.

  • Through diversification of 4th industries and transportation and globalization, tourism was developed for medical purposes, not limited to touring tourist attractions. The trend of medical tourism in Korea is shifting from large and medium-sized hospitals to professional medical services in one area of small hospitals rather than professional medical services. However, small hospitals lack medical coordinators and interpretation services, and tourists who visit Korea for treatment lack information on small hospitals. Therefore, a platform is needed to match small hospitals with medical tourists. In this study, using Platform as a Service (Paas) in cloud computing, clinic administrators can access the app to introduce information about their hospitals with simple manipulations. Tourists also want to propose a customized platform to select the right area for them to check information about small-scale hospitals and choose the treatment and tourist attractions they wants.   • New strategies in the automobile industry have been required with the advent of new green car era. This study examines how to develop the electric automobile industry among green cars effectively. It's necessary to change fragmentary relationship-based analysis focusing on stakeholders in the existing automobile industry into platform-based analysis. The purpose of this study aims to define an analytical framework for adopting a more developed industry platform. To this end, the following major issues are analyzed. First, what is the definition of industrial platform, why is it needed? Second, who participate in industry platform, what are the working factors of the platform? Third, who are participants in industry platform applicable to electric vehicle market and what are the working factors for electric vehicle industry platform? Fourth, this researcher derives analytic framework of electric vehicle industry platform based on related cases and discusses applicable measures for the framework.

Shopping on Fashion Vertical Platforms: The Mediating Effect of Platform Satisfaction and The Moderating Effect of Consumer Innovativeness (패션 버티컬 플랫폼 쇼핑: 플랫폼 만족의 매개효과와 소비자 혁신성의 조절효과)

  • Fashion vertical platforms offer various content and events to consumers and have established a strong customer base. Especially, they cater to the sensibilities of young customers. This study analyzed the characteristics of a sensuous fashion vertical platform, which enhances expertise and provides customized services. In addition, this study aimed to find out whether consumer innovation modulates the relationship between fashion vertical platform, platform satisfaction, and continuous shopping intention. An online survey was conducted targeting consumers in their 20s and 30s who had experience using fashion vertical platforms, and 222 samples were analyzed. Factor analysis and structural equation model were analyzed using the SPSS 29.0 and Smart-PLS. Smart-PLS analysis results showed that exclusivity, convenience and informativeness did not directly affect continuous shopping intention but showed a complete mediating effect through platform satisfaction. Both the high and low innovative groups demonstrated significant effects of exclusivity on platform satisfaction, and platform satisfaction showed significant effects on continuous shopping intention. A high level of innovation among the consumers showed significant mediating effects on exclusivity, personalization, and continuous shopping intention, as reflected by information on platform satisfaction, and low level of innovation among the consumers showed significant effect on convenience. This study's findings highlight the importance of enhancing exclusivity, convenience, informativeness, and esthetics in fashion vertical platforms, and improving platform satisfaction. These findings will be used to develop marketing strategies that can lead to continuous shopping intentions and provide opportunities for the industry.

  • Technology-driven development of a new system makes it difficult for users and stakeholders to identify or intervene in the development process, resulting in systems with unnecessary functions and poor quality services. Applying the software architecture design process to the initial design of the navigation system platform of autonomous ships enables the development of a system that reflects the required functions and service quality of the stakeholders. The design, which includes all of the subsystems that make up an autonomous ship platform, is close to an enterprise architecture. Thus, we strived to design a navigation system platform suitable for the design range of the software architecture. This study analyzed the definition of functional requirements, and quality attributes by applying the software architecture design procedure. This study was conducted to identify the characteristics of the navigation system and platform needs, and the stakeholders were identified. To derive the functional requirements and constraints of the platform, a quality attributes workshop was held engaging stakeholders, and the results of the analysis of functional requirements and quality attributes were listed. Based on the results of this study, the architect can establish the evidence and technical solutions that are integral for the architecture development, and will facilitate the creation of quality attribute scenarios.

Experimental study on the vibration mitigation of offshore tension leg platform system with UWTLCD

  • In this research, a typical tension-leg type of floating platform incorporated with an innovative concept of underwater tuned liquid column damper system (UWTLCD) is studied. The purpose of this study is to improve the structural safety by means of mitigating the wave induced vibrations and stresses on the offshore floating Tension Leg Platform (TLP) system. Based on some encouraging results from a previous study, where a Tuned Liquid Column Damper (TLCD) system was employed in a floating platform system to reduce the vibration of the main structure, in this study, the traditional TLCD system was modified and tested. Firstly, the orifice-tube was replaced with a smaller horizontal tube and secondly, the TLCD system was combined into the pontoon system under the platform. The modification creates a multipurpose pontoon system associated with vibration mitigation function. On the other hand, the UWTLCD that is installed underwater instead would not occupy any additional space on the platform and yet provide buoyancy to the system. Experimental tests were performed for the mitigation effect and parameters besides the wave conditions, such as pontoon draught and liquid-length in the TLCD were taken into account in the test. It is found that the accurately tuned UWTLCD system could effectively reduce the dynamic response of the offshore platform system in terms of both the vibration amplitude and tensile forces measured in the mooring tethers.

  • Since its launch, WeChat has been changing the Chinese lifestyle, changing the traditional way of distribution, and changing the way companies market with the combination of information innovation and New Media. Now, WeChat plays an indispensable role in peopl's daily lives, not only in chatting software, but also in shopping, delivery, ordering, payment, and games. This study was centered on people who have used WeChat and around these backgrounds, planned study models. Through prior research, the purpose of the research is to explore the factors influencing the effects of the WeChat platform on MPR and explore the media effects of advertising attitude between WeChat platform features and MPR effects and provide basic material on its continued development. The research has shown that the reliability and diversity of the WeChat platform has a significant impact on both advertising attitude and purchase intention and propaganda intention of MPR effects. Advertising attitude has a positive impact on purchase intention and propaganda intention, and advertising attitude is shown to have a mediated effect between the WeChat platform and the MPR effects. The results of this study suggest the theoretical enlightenment of "continuous and stable development of the WeChat platform", and it is expected that marketing development plans of various social platforms will provide basic materials.
