본 연구는 웹 기반형(web-based) 플랫폼 노동자의 임금 결정에 관한 연구이다. 이를 위해 2018년 9월 전 세계적 플랫폼 노동시장 중 하나인 Freelancer.com에서 웹 크롤링(web-crawling)한 총 3,575명의 구직자 정보를 사용하였으며, 전통적 노동시장에서 유의하였던 학력, 경력과 더불어 플랫폼 노동시장에서 새롭게 사용 가능해진 이전 고용주에 의한 평가가 플랫폼 노동자의 임금상승에 유의한 영향을 주는지 OLS 및 QR 분석방법을 사용하여 추정하였다. OLS 분석결과 플랫폼 노동자의 임금은 과거 유의하였던 학력, 경력뿐 아니라 이전 고용주에 의한 평가(리뷰 수)에 의해서도 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 다만, QR 분석결과 플랫폼 노동자의 임금수준이 상승함에 따라 교육보다는 경력이 리뷰 수보다는 추천 수가 플랫폼 노동자의 임금상승에 더욱 유의미한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다.

Purpose Along with increasing use of mobile devices, the sharing economy platform services, which generate profits by sharing products owned or labor, have been activated. A representative example of the sharing economy platform service is Airbnb, which connects providers having idle residential space with users. The results revealed that the cases of superhosts and professional companies had a positive and negative effect on user satisfaction, respectively. Based on signaling theory, this study drew the following implications: residential space providers should make an effort to meet the superhost conditions suggested by Airbnb, and offering residential spaces by individual suppliers rather than professional accommodation companies can more heighten user satisfaction. Design/methodology/approach Because sharing behavior is promoted through trust between interested parties, this study aimed to verify the effects of provider characteristics on user satisfaction in a sharing economy platform service. Specifically, it analyzed user satisfaction, according to host attributes (i.e., "superhost or not," gender, and "professional company or not") among the characteristics of Airbnb suppliers. Findings The results revealed that the cases of superhosts and professional companies had a positive and negative effect on user satisfaction, respectively. Based on these analyses results, this study drew the following implications: residential space providers should make an effort to meet the superhost conditions suggested by Airbnb, and offering residential spaces by individual suppliers rather than professional accommodation companies can more heighten user satisfaction.

Purpose: Leisure time is an intrinsic part of the work-life balance that enables people to rejuvenate their energy and provides a platform to maintain their health while sustaining their productivity levels. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of changes in leisure consumption culture on the modern economy through various research materials. Research design, data and methodology: To have completeness in published systematic reviews and meta-analyses, the use of the standard Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses checklist is essential and the present research selected this research design. Results: This research figured out that individuals who spend most of their leisure time watching TV have been shown to experience lesser satisfaction in their job designation and less happiness overall and also found that Leukocyte Telomere Length is influenced by the type of leisure an individual engages in. Conclusions: Overall, this research points out that the income effect may provide an inverse relationship between work time and labor in that high income from labor makes an individual less inclined to work to make the same money they made before the increased benefits. It is a narrative that may need further research in finding the principles that govern leisure in the labor force.

Environmental change, labor shortage, and international trade politics make agricultural automation ever more important. The automation demands the highest technology due to the nature of agriculture. In this paper, autonomous pesticide spray robot system has been developed for rose farming in the glass house. We developed drive platform, navigation/localization system, atomization spray system, autonomous, remote, and manual operation system, and monitoring system. The robot will be a great contribution to automation of hazardous labor-demanding chore of pesticide control in glass houses.

The city of Sumqayit in Azerbaijan was famous in the USSR for its chemical plants, which supplied the whole country with plastics, detergents, and fertilizers. While production increased in the post-WWII period, young people from remote Caucasian villages were attracted as workers to the industrial settlement on the shore of the Caspian Sea and worked together with specialists from all over the USSR. Migration did not stop when the USSR collapsed. To the contrary, mobility increased as Azerbaijani refugees from Armenia and IDPs from Karabakh fled to Sumqayit, which grew to become the second-largest city of Azerbaijan. Although a generation has passed since the ceasefire, IDPs still are separately administered. In the last 20 years, more and more internal migrants have chosen the Greater Baku Region as their destination, mostly finding jobs in the informal labor market. In the post-independence transformative period, informal housing has offered migrants a place to stay in the city. Sumqayit can be regarded as an arrival city, an established urban platform for migrants who prefer internal over transnational migration.

In the past, manufacturing-oriented industries focused on improving labor productivity to achieve economic growth. Korea is changing from a labor-intensive industry to a technology-intensive industry in order to occupy a competitive edge compared to other countries. Recently, a lot of investment has been made not only in technology-intensive industries but also in information industries. Therefore, it is developing in various forms such as special technology, platform industry, and virtual reality as a technology-intensive industry and information industry field. In this social phenomenon, the necessity of starting a business using new ideas and technologies is increasing. Therefore, universities also need entrepreneurship education for their students, and it is necessary to investigate how the contents of the university's start-up education support, individual achievement needs, and the degree of acquisition of start-up knowledge affect the establishment of business strategies necessary for start-ups.

Recently, the u-IT applications for plants and livestock become larger and control of livestock farm environment has been used important in the field of industry. We implemented wireless sensor networks and farm environment automatic control system for applying to the breeding barn environment by calculating the THI index. First, we gathered environmental information like livestock object temperature, heart rate and momentum. And we also collected the farm environment data including temperature, humidity and illuminance for calculating the THI index. Then we provide accurate control action roof open and electric fan in of intelligent farm to keep the best state automatically by using collected data. We believed this technology can improve industrial competitiveness through the u-IT based smart integrated management system introduction for industry aversion and dairy industries labor shortages due to hard work and old ageing.

본 논문은 4차 산업혁명이 직업능력개발에 미치는 영향을 이행노동시장(Transitional Labor Market: TLM) 모형을 중심으로 조명해보고, 이를 토대로 4차 산업혁명시대의 직업능력개발정책의 발전방향을 모색하였다. 4차 산업혁명은 새로운 일자리를 창출하고, 기존의 일자리의 상당부분을 소멸하게 함과 동시에 일자리의 형태와 직무의 내용, 일하는 방식을 근본적으로 변화시킬 것이다. 이러한 새로운 환경 하에서는 노동시장 이행의 각 단계에서 위험이 증대할 가능성이 높다. 이러한 위험을 최소화하기 위해서는 교육훈련제도의 혁신과 생애경력개발 및 평생직업능력개발을 통해 4차 산업혁명을 선도할 인재를 육성하고, 4차 산업혁명이 초래할 변화에 대한 적응력을 높여나가는 것이 중요하다. 이러한 측면에서 기존의 직업능력개발체제를 4차 산업혁명 시대에 적합하도록 패러다임적인 발전을 이루어야 하고, 평생직업능력개발을 위한 생태계를 구축하여야 한다.

There are many problems that occur currently in agriculture industries. The problems such as unexpected of changing weather condition, lack of labor, dry soil were some of the reasons that may cause the growth of the plants. Condition of the weather in local area is inconsistent due to the global warming effect thus affecting the production of the crops. Furthermore, the loss of farm labor to urban manufacturing jobs is also the problem in this industry. Besides, the condition for the plant like air humidity, air temperature, air quality index, and soil moisture are not being recorded automatically which is more reason for the need of implementation system to monitor the data for future research and development of agriculture industry. As of this, we aim to provide a solution by developing IoT-based platform along with the irrigation for increasing crop quality and productivity in agriculture field. We aim to develop a smart garden system environment which the system is able to auto-monitoring the humidity and temperature of surroundings, air quality and soil moisture. The system also has the capability of automating the irrigation process by analyzing the moisture of soil and the climate condition (like raining). Besides, we aim to develop user-friendly system interface to monitor the data collected from the respective sensor. We adopt an open source hardware to implementation and evaluate this research.

다르덴 형제의 영화는 사회의 변방으로 밀려난 소수자들의 문제를 다룬다. 특히 오늘날 노동 시장에서 가치를 박탈당한 인간의 삶에 큰 관심을 가진다. 이 글은 칸 영화제 수상작인 다르덴 형제 영화의 근작 <로제타>, <아들>, <더 차일드>, <로나의 침묵>, <자전거 탄 소년>을 대상으로 그러한 다르덴 형제의 사회인식을 살펴본다. 그리고 그들의 사회인식을 적확하게 담아내는 고유한 형식미학적 스타일을 분석해 보고자 한다. 먼저 다르덴 형제 영화의 내용을 보면, 절망적인 생계의 문제에 봉착한 개인이 등장한다. 그들의 고통은 정도 차를 두고 실업 상황과 긴밀하게 연관되어 있으며, 그로 인해 불가항력적인 '불안'과 '소외'의 이미지를 내보인다. 유념할 것은, 다르덴 형제의 영상은 내용을 담는 단순한 플랫폼이 아니라, 본질적인 주제의식을 드러내는 고안된 양식이라는 점이다. 단편적인 예를 들면, 인물을 담아내는 카메라의 위치와 시선, 움직임 모두가 세계 내에서 인물이 처한 상황을 성찰하게 한다. 플롯에 대한 고려도 거의 없고, 극적 장치도 없으며, 평면적이고 직선적이기까지 한 다르덴 형제의 영화가 끊임없이 긴장을 안기는 이유도 그와 같은 독자적인 형식미학의 힘이라고 할 수 있을 것이다.
