The Cyber Physical System(CPS) is an important concept in achieving SMSs(Smart Manufacturing Systems). Generally, CPS consists of physical and virtual elements. The former involves manufacturing devices in the field space, whereas the latter includes the technologies such as network, data collection and analysis, security, and monitoring and control technologies in the cyber space. Currently, all these elements are being integrated for achieving SMSs in which we can control and analyze various kinds of producing and diagnostic issues in the cyber space without the need for human intervention. In this study, we focus on implementing a production equipment monitoring system related to building a SMS. First, we describe the development of a fog-based gateway system that links physical manufacturing devices with virtual elements. This system also interacts with the cloud server in a multimedia network environment. Second, we explain the proposed network infrastructure to implement a monitoring system operating on a cloud server. Then, we discuss our monitoring applications, and explain the experience of how to apply the ML(Machine Learning) method for predictive diagnostics.

Our society confronts a new social demand to protect the environmental equity of the people, and the green open space that is a representative public property which takes a very important role for the residents in less privileged urbane area in terms of providing amenity without requiring individual expenses additionally. This study aims to identify the current status and problems based on the environmental experiences of the actual residents, excluding the simple physical status, in relation with supplying public property of green open space, and the study put focus on the old downtown area of Jeonju-si which is a test-bed of urbane regeneration planned by the government. Residents in less privileged area evaluate the importance of green environment of park very highly as a factor to enhance their quality of life, but as they do not have well-established environmental infrastructure to back up their needs practically, they face difficulties to use such environment and show low level of satisfaction. In particular, as such characteristics appear remarkably among the least privileged urbane people in the less privileged urbane area, their dependence and expectation upon the environment of green open space is very apparent and, therefore, it is urgently needed to improve their environment for public green park area for the less privileged urbane people.

The purpose of this study is to grasp the change of modern space concept and analyze how to adopt and embody the change in modern fashion. The study researched wearer's costume space and analyzed space shown in supermodern fashion design by classifying it into response to non-space, allowance of wearer-based space, scientific space of architectural skill and embodiment of space image. As a study method, literature and study material of sociology, anthropology, fashion sociology and design field were referred. For picture data of supermodern fashion work, specialized book, designer, brand collection material and internet site pictures were collected and analyzed. The study result shows the following features of fashion design space embodiment corresponding to the change of supermodern environment. First, supermodern design secures closet space like pocket for portable objects and uses design space in order to provide the space for convenience of movement. Second, supermodern design creates wearer-based independent space in order to secure person's physical and mental stability in city environment. Third, supermodern design uses space scientifically from the aspect of detail and shape by applying space of architectural skill to space. Fourth, supermodern design shows aesthetic feature that embodies interpretation of space by conceptualizing space image and using fashion.

Daily newspapers are one of the most influential mass media and the news coverage can be used an indicator of social issues and needs. The purpose of this study was to investigate characteristics of physical environment in apartments, and to examine the underlying social ideas. In doing so, the contents of national daily newspapers in the past ten years were analyzed by using frequencies. The study found that sophistication, diversity, and differentiation were drawn as social values that lie in the physical environment of apartments, and the characteristics were related to housing types, space planning and complex layout. The finding shows that the coverage of the physical environment in apartments has been growing, and the increasing attention to the residential environment remains strong and significant.

본 연구에서는 우주를 배경으로 한 생존 게임에서 실제 우주에서 나타나는 신체 변화를 분석하고 이를 게임에 효과적으로 접목하기 위해 우주에서 나타나는 신체 변화를 다룬 문헌 자료들을 바탕으로 무중력 환경에 노출된 신체의 변화를 조사하였다. 또한 글로벌 플랫폼인 스팀(STEAM)에 등록된 생존 게임의 시스템을 분석하여 생존 요소를 도출했다. 도출된 결과들을 토대로 우주를 배경으로 한 생존 게임에 실질적으로 적용할 수 있도록 생존 시스템을 구성했으며 실제 신체 변화와 연관된 생존 요소를 적용할 수 있는 방안을 설계했다. 따라서 본 연구는 우주를 배경으로 한 생존 게임 제작 시 플레이어 캐릭터의 생존 요소로 과학적 사실이 적용할 수 있는 방안으로 활용될 것을 기대한다.

Though the physical environment of life through technological evolution has rapidly improved, the quality of life due to a variety of undesirable environmental issues has been seriously damaging. This study has tried to suggest the positive & sustainable direction of space design which can contribute to improving the quality of human lives by reviving 'place property' which a site itself has, trying to analyze the recycling space which the sustainability has been applied to in a true sense. For this cause, we've tried to draw four 'methods of realizing place property' such as meeting a site, understanding a site, finding the identity of a site, and adding novelty to a site through advanced research. I've tried to suggest the design direction for reviving space which can relieve the artificial aspect of design with pursuing the co-existence with nature on the foundation of realizing 'place property' through case analysis selected on the basis of this, and can express the 'sustainability' through environment-friendly space structures & high efficiency of its function.

The space planning and interior lay out of youth centers should be determined carefully for youth education and leisure after school which is considered cultural exchange, hobby, physical training in area of the daily life and to prevent unvaried or unwanted situation in the interior space. Recently, the youth center in youth facilities is architectural planning and managing without consideration of conditions of location environment, regional characteristics and prior condition of space. This paper try to provide basic architectural concept of the space planning for youth centers in urban. On the bases of survey and analysis, the basic data for youth centers have been proposed in consideration of the development of youth activity and community environment in korea. The results of the study were firstly, general basic data for the general architectural planning, secondly, guidelines for the space planning of youth centers in urban, thirdly, new alternative youth centers with 3 types.

Due to the fact that there are low birth rate and longer life longevity, schools have been shutting down and converted into welfare facilities. However, most of researches about utilizing closed down school are focused on case researches or architectural planning and design. Moreover, majority of existing welfare centers for the aged are not designed with the flow of human traffic in mind, which means there is no consideration of physical or psychological characteristics of elderly people. That fact leads to increasing number of shutting down welfare facilities. Therefore, this thesis will present the necessity of effective space allocation, extension and reconstruction for residents in aged care by analyzing space using index of space syntax with depth-map software.

An effective design of a public space that properly functions as a resting place in city can be found through the community facility studies. This study, based on the ecological psychology, discusses the mutual relationships between human behaviors and physical and social environment. It is demonstrated that design elements, such as chairs, tables, stairs, a flower bed, a stair-shaped exterior wall, a pond and others play important roles in providing environment for different human behaviors in public space. These environmental design elements also increase a variety of behavior for users.

Purpose : Ministry of Health & Welfare started to 'Comprehensive care ward' project for patient hospitalization in order to help the economic and medical By providing comprehensive care services through professional nursing staff since 2013. Many physical environments changes are expected by providing comprehensive care services. The purpose of this study is to investigate the comprehensive care services and identify the problems of the corresponding physical environment usage. Methods : Data were collected through research, field surveys, and expert interviews to analyze and investigate the physical environment of the 'Comprehensive care ward'. Results : Physical environments changes in accordance with the comprehensive care services provided in 'Comprehensive care ward' are being only partially achieved. It have to considered not only ward environmental improvement for nursing services provided directly to the patient, but Including nurses warehousing space, work space. Implications : Comprehensive care ward project is scheduled to be operational even some wards throughout the hospital since 2018. This study is basic research for architectural planning of the future ward with comprehensive care services in public hospital.
