  • A Systematic Wealth Management Framework (SWMF) was developed as a private banking management tool to enable more integrative personal finance management of personal wealth. It is a reference model that provides an unified framework for development, operation, and management and makes provision for personal financial services in today's complex financial environment. This study suggested some practical results from banks and insurance companies that have established SWMF as the differentiation business strategy for wealthy customers. The focus of this manuscript is on capturing the methodological approach most financial institutions in Korea adopted to execute new e-finance planning and implementation based on the SWMF. The alignment between the wealth management business goals and information system architecture at an organization constitutes the main theoretical basis of the study. Relevant discussions are made on the wealth management framework as a general business model for financial industry, on the functional relationship between new information systems and business organizations. Finally, lessons learned from the SWMF implementation are discussed.

  • Because personal information files held by educational institutions include sensitive information such as personal school affairs information or health information, damages resulted from personal information leakage of educational institutions are expected to be serious. In order to respond to this problem, the Ministry of Education has expanded information security education targeting (personal) information security officers in educational institutions. However, a number of personal information leakage cases of public institutions occurred at educational institutions. Thus, this study, targeting information security education centers, through an empirical research, tries to confirm whether information security education supply is being properly provided for (personal) information security officers in educational institutions, and suggest the appropriate balance between education supply and education demand as the implication for the educational direction of information security education centers.

  • Objectives: In this paper, we propose the ethical education direction by analyzing the personal information recognition and practice of music therapists. Methods: For the analyses, we selected 60 music therapists who answered a questionnaire from members of K Music Therapy Association, and analyzed task recognition and practice ask performance using IPA method. Results: In the IPA table, the areas of high recognition and practice (1) are the areas of personal information protection information management. In the IPA table, the areas of low awareness and high practice (2) are areas of privacy communication for those who have completed ethics education. In the IPA table, the areas of low awareness and low practice (3) are areas of privacy communication when ethics education is not completed. In the IPA table, areas of high awareness and low levels of practice (4) are areas of privacy protection. Conclusions: Continuing education should be provided to improve the curriculum on the protection of personal information for music therapists, thereby raising the awareness and practice of privacy.

  • In this paper, we analyze the Contact Center's specific-security characteristics, including the threat model and weakness and study effective security measures focussing on protecting customer's personal information. Also, we establish the information security management system to reduce the possibility of information leakage from the internal employee in advance. As a result, we propose the "Security management model for protecting personal information for customer Contact Center" that complies with current ISO/IEC JTC 1 ISMS 27000 series standards.

  • The personal information extrusion accident(hacking, improper maintenance) by the internet has been increased rapidly during the last ten-year period. The personal information includes Korean resident registration number, name, cellphone number, home telephone number, E-mail address, home address, etc. Korean resident registration number is unchangeable from the cradle to the grave. Illegally accessed personal information can be wrongfully resoled or used at phishing scam. In this paper, we propose a alternative means of Korean resident registration number using the authorized certificate. The authorized certificate is in use safely in Internet. The authorized certificate(included Chinese name) is in used in offline service, the authorized certificate(included English name) is used in online(for government service) and the authorized certificate(not included name) is used in online(for private service). The authorized certificates are possible for discard, republication. The method can reduce the possibility of the personal information extrusion.

  • The importance of personal data protection is increasingly emphasized both at home and abroad, and while overseas countries are applying various policies and dynamic management technologies, there are some gaps between compliance with laws and regulations and the application of technologies in Korea, and there are few user interfaces that provide convenient ways for data subjects to stop processing personal data. This study first analyzes the need for dynamic personal information consent management technology, the current state of the industry, and the prospects for its development. Next, this study proposes a basic model for dynamic management of personal information consent that maximizes the data subject's right to personal data self-determination while strictly complying with personal data protection laws in Republic of Korea. In particular, this study analyzes the basis of domestic laws and regulations related to the suspension of personal data processing, designs a basic model of personal data consent dynamic management interface, and presents its effectiveness. Based on the results of this study, we expect that the proposed dynamic management model for personal data use consent can be used in various ways for various websites and applications in the future.

  • The purpose of this study is to solve the limitations that the information security manager of company should recognize the personal information of all employees. In this study, we propose efficient personal information retention status management system to minimize information retention status of personal information and department by information security manager and departmental information security officer. To do this, we study the method of transferring the check result from the PVA system to the efficient personal information retention management system, also study ways to minimize the amount of personal information we hold. It is possible to minimize the possession of personal information by changing the one channel method managed by the information security administrator of the existing PVA system to the two channel method so that the information security manager and the information security officer can manage it.

VAM(Value based Adoption Model) model is validated as a theoretical background, selecting ease of use, usefulness and perceived security as a benefit factor, and considers perceived cost, technical complexity, and risk of personal information leakage as a sacrifice factor. Methods: The method of this study used questionnaire survey to collect 365 data on suer's perception on smart banking services, and also performed a structural equation modeling method using by AMOS 23. Results: The result of this paper shows that all hypothesis are accepted statistically significant except 1 hypothesis. Conclusion: This research is concluded that perceived value is affected on statistically positive impact on ease of use, usefulness and perceived security, and negative impact on perceived cost and risk of personal information violation, not statistically technical complexity.

  • The amount of data a related to a person is so substantial that it appears that a digital version of them can be built thereon. They are usually handled as personal information, and the attempts made to understand personal information have led to bundling and unbundling of various data, yielding numerous fragmented categories of personal information. Therefore, we attempt to construct a generalizable lens for a deeper understanding of person-related data. We develop a theoretical framework that provides a fundamental method to understand these data as an entity of a digitally represented person based on literature review as well as the concepts of inforg and infosphere. The proposed framework suggests person-related data consist of three informational inforg dimensions that can preserve the archetype of a person, form, content, and interaction. Subsequently, the framework is examined and tested through several analyses in two different contexts: social media and online shopping mall. This framework demonstrates the suggested dimensions are interrelated with certain patterns, the prominent dimension can determine the data characteristics, and the dimensional composition of data types can imply the characteristics of the digitally represented person in certain contexts.
