This paper presents the hardware development of a secure modem system for personal computers. This system consists of a data encryption system and an existing modem. The algorithm of LUCIFER-type with block size of 64-bit is used for data encryption and Diffie-Hellman method is also employed for generation of the encryption key. We implement the system in hardware using the DSP56001.

In this paper, an off-line programming(OLP) system is presented as the three dimensional graphic simulator and one of the human-robot interface systems for industrial robots. The OLP system has been especially developed to testify robot programs visually using three dimensional geometric modeling and graphics technologies in personal computes. A special feature is its capability of collision detection and of comparing performance of control algorithms. This paper places the focus on the structure and major characteristic of OLP system.

A computer code has been developed for an analysis of conduction and convection heat transfer on a personal computer. FVM based on unstructured mesh has been employed for triangular and quadrilateral element. All variable of p, u, v, T, k and ${\varepsilon}$ has been defined on a node (not on a center of element). The code possesses the pre-and post-processor for itself to provide user-friendly interface.

This paper discusses an academic study on electronic games and their incredibly vast and rapid growth over the years. It specifically addresses the evolution of electronic games from the 1960s to today, the ripple effects of electronic games, and the development of electronic game platforms. In terms of scope, the study first describes the ripple effects of the emergence of electronic games in chronological order and from the "immersion" and "convergence" perspectives, and then explores the evolution of electronic game platforms such as arcade machines, video consoles, personal computers, and mobile game devices.

This paper described the implementation of high speed transmission fort medical image between hospitals using ISDN. The implemented system, called PC-card, can transmit datas as 144Kbps and can install in the personal computer. So, this enables to get more reliable medical image with less cost, and to service the better quality for an unurbanized area. Nowdays, we can communicate using Information Technology such as internet, personal computer, mobile phone etc. To protect global environment, it is also reqired to invent products efficiently reduce energy consumption. here, I studied organic EL and inorganic EL because organic EL display is appropriate device as light, thin, energy-saying display following CRT, LCD. As a result, I realized that we are supposed to study more on invention, efficiency and mass-production of materials. Comparing with another display, however, it would be marketable in few years, considering short history of its full-scaled studies.

In this paper a platform that makes it possible the simulations of the vehicle operational control for PRT (Personal Rapid Transit) is introduced. PRT system has very short headway and requires accurate speed control of the vehicles to avoid the impact between the vehicles. The proposed platform is composed of central control system, station control system, communication control system, AP for wireless communication, and monitoring system. Simple operational test scenarios are presented and the effectiveness of the proposed platform is shown using the test scenarios.

Urban areas face congestion problems that diminish personal mobility and freight-transportation productivity. An increasing number of experts suggest that separating freight traffic from passenger traffic makes sense in terms of economics, the environment, and safety. Some experts suggest that underground freight transportation are the solution. The objective of this paper is to review the potential benefits and limitations of freight pipelines as a viable mode of cargo transport that can alleviate congestion on urban highways.

A computer program for matrix structural analysis by object-oriented programming technique using $C^{++}$ language has been developed. Object, class, method and inheritance which are used in object-oriented programming are illustrated using a graphical representation. The matrix operations and the structural analysis by matrix displacement method were satisfactorily performed by the proposed program. Numerical tests demonstrate that this proposed program can be widely used for the matrix structural analysis for personal computers.s.
