The development of engine analyzer (엔진아나라이져의 개발)

  • Engine analyzer is developed with the aids of personal computer, A/D converter, interfacing signal transducer and data processing computer programs. The objective of this development are that it should firstly be produced at the resonable low price compared with imported one taking advantage of using existing personal computer and printer, and it should also give good quality of performance. For the attainment of this objective, A/D converter should have been developed to meet the price limit of the equipment. The experiment is performed in a 4 cycle 4 cylinder gasoline engine by this analyzer, and all the information which are necessary for the combustion analysis can be obtained through the processing of the pressure data that are stored in the computer. These are pressure-volume curve, pressure-crank angle curve, the rate of pressure rise and heat release versus crank angle curve etc. With this developed experimental system of resonable price, it will be considered that more easy way of engine data pick-up and processing is possible.

  • This paper describes a computer aided tool design system of deep drawing of cylindrical cups with or without flange by press. An approach to system is based on knowledge based system. The computer program has written in basic language with personal computer Knowledges for tool design are formulated from the plasticity theory, handbooks, experimental results and empirical knowhow of the field experts. The capabilities of developed system include 1) the selection of tool structure (with or without blank holder, single or double action, lift up or draw off type), 2) the design of tool elements(punch/holder, die/holder etc.) for the previous selected tool structure by the process planning output and the production quantity. The final output is generated in graphics form for design sheet.

  • A post-processor is developed to be effectively usable in the personal computer. 3-dimensional controur lines are shown on the surface of the finite element model and also on the 3-dimensional cutting plane, using the function linearly interpolated onto the triangular elements which are constructed on the surface or sectional polygons. And these polygons are originated from the finite element model, 3-dimensional model is projected on the plane with hidden line removal by comparision technique[6]. The graphic data file is used to increase the protability of the program. It is easy to use in the other computer system if the graphic routine adopted that computer system is developed. The developed program has wide applications in 3-dimensional finite element analysis.

  • Recently, robot plays an important role in factory automation and its use is rapidly increasing. In paticular, modern industry tends to need the robot to adjust itself swiftly to new workcell. But, robot is to be taught of operator through teaching box in order that it can carry out new tasks. In the process, interruption of the production line is frequent and so much time and expense are required. Computer Graphic Simulator(CGS) provides a useful tool to overcome such a problem. In this paper, CGS consists of teaching mode and execution mode. The 5-axis Rhino robot is modelled in IBM-PC/386 compatible 32-bit personal computer with 80387 co-processor and the simulator performs defined operations on the computer screen.

  • This paper describes a system for measurement and control of a gas flow. In order to measure the flux of gas and control a vavle according to flux, this system was developed. This system is implemented on the personal computer and its environment is developed tool called TMS. This system includes a main program and Tele-Metering Unit for transmitting correcting flow value based on temperature and pressure in flow computer and AD converter for transmitting instantaneous flow rate, temperature and pressure as interface part of personal computer. This system was made by Visual C++ program. Using this system, inspected data for the recognition of transmitting flow value are generated on the screen, file and printer. The activity, reliability of this system was verified on Daegu-Citygas that aids the system for the acquisition of inspected data by realtime application.

  • There are a lot of linear dynamic analysis methods for complex structures. Each method has advantages and shortcomings. Method of dynamic analysis for complex structure is selected considering characteristics of dynamic loading, computer facility available number of degree of freedem and accuracy of results. It is a main point of view to get economical results rather then accurate ones for analysis of general complex structures, Mode superposition method and direct integration method are generally used. However, the characteristics of load is not considered in mode superpositon method, the personal computer cannot be used in direct integration methods. To over-come these shortcomings, the component mode method incorporating Ritz algorithm updated is proposed to solve economically dynamic behavior of the structures. The purpose of study is a formulation of algorithm, and computer programing suitable for dynamic analysis of the complex structure in personal computer environment.

  • Nowadays, the user-centric application based web 2.0 has replaced the web 1.0. The users gain and provide information by interactive network applications. As a result, traditional approaches that only extract and analyze users' local document operating behavior and network browsing behavior to build the users' preference profile cannot fully reflect their interests. Therefore this paper proposed a preference analysis and indicating approach based on the users' communication information from MicroBlog, such as reading, forwarding and @ behavior, and using the improved PersonalRank method to analyze the importance of a user to other users in the network and based on the users' communication behavior to update the weight of the items in the user preference. Simulation result shows that our proposed method outperforms the ontology model, TREC model, and the category model in terms of 11SPR value.

The Characteristics and Needs of Computer Furniture for the Adolescent (청소년 컴퓨터용 가구특성과 요구에 관한 연구)

  • According to the Korean National Statistics Office(KNSO), more than 90% of Korean adolescents aged from 15 to 19 use a computer for more than 10 hours per week. The KNSO also reveals that this age group mostly uses a computer in their own room, followed by a commercial place. It is also found that the house for the adolescent is not simply a physical environment, but is rather a center of their personal lives where their personal and social developments are formed. Therefore, the physical environment where computers are used is very important. The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics and needs of computer furniture for the adolescent. Data were collected through self-administered questionnaires and 414 adolescents participated. The results of this study are as follows: (1) Most of the respondents(42%) used the internet for less than one hour per day and it was used for community visits and operations, game, and chat rooms. (2) The desks where computers were used were specially designed and made of wood. Chairs were typically height adjustable with armrests and there was no task lighting for computer use. (3) The preferences of computer furniture were chairs with a high back, casters and armrests. The overall satisfaction of individual computer rooms was low. However, it is important for an adolescent to be provided with a user friendly environment for sound growth and development. Further study is therefore needed regarding environmental variables through empirical study.

  • This paper analyzes the Personal Information Protection Act and related legal guides revised in 2023, proposes a framework for a consignment contract through the items necessary in the consignment relationship for personal information work, and inspects the status of personal information protection for consignees that are absent in Korea. By proposing common items that must be included, we prevent the occurrence of personal information leakage incidents by strengthening the basic personal information protection capabilities of trustees handling personal information work and alleviating the burden of essential personal information protection inspections. I want to do it.

  • According to the spread of computers and the development of the information society, people are focused on privacy information. As the development of its associated policy and technology, it has been tried various attempts to protect their personal information. In this paper, we proposed anti-screen capture modules to protect personal information or a company's confidential information for agencies and departments that keeps top security. As a result, we can prevent an illegal use or a stealing of another person's information in a public agency or personal computer. Also modules can stop exposures of top security data and personal information during they communicate with others in their institution's sever system.
