Survey the intake of carbonated beverage and the perception of carbonated beverage was conducted with 422 middle school students in Daegu area to clarify attitudes toward carbonated beverages and their consumption in adolescents. Statistical data analysis was done using SPSS version 12.0. Of all subjects, 31.3% preferred carbonated beverage among all beverages consumed, and preference for flavored carbonated beverage was highest (42.2%). Students who liked to drink carbonated beverage spent more money in snacks out of their allowance; frequency of carbonated beverage consumption correlated with amount of allowance (p<0.05). Carbonated beverage was mainly consumed with fast-food (61.5%), and 53.3% of the students purchased the beverages at supermarket. The majority of middle school students (30.4%) drank carbonated beverage more than 3~5 times a week, which was high frequency of carbonated beverage consumption. Preference and consumption frequency beverages differed significantly with knowledge level (p<0.01). Of the subjects, 73.2% drank carbonated beverage without checking nutrient contents, and those with low knowledge level of carbonated beverage neither read the label on nutrients nor were interested in nutrition education (p<0.05). The results underscore the need to provide systematic nutrition education at home and in school to prevent excessive intake of carbonated beverage and to help adolescents choose healthy beverage during a time in life when growth is especially prominent.

Various Kimchi including functional Kimchi must be developed to meet the needs of consumers.
The principal objective of this study was to evaluate the consumption behavior and perceptions of environment-friendly agricultural products(EAPs) by university students in the Chonbuk area, Korea. Self-administered questionnaires were collected from 309 university students(male 33.0%, female 67.0%). Descriptive and comparative statistical analyses was completed using SPSS v. 12.0. The percentage of subjects who purchased EAPs was 70.9%. Of those, 87.2% had EAPs purchased by their mothers. The most purchased EAPs were vegetables, the primary reason for which was the perception of 'good for health'(73.1%). The main information source about EAPs was 'familes/freinds'. The average scores of 'attitude toward EAPs', 'knowledge toward EAPs', 'concern toward EAPs' were $3.76{\pm}0.57$, $2.91{\pm}0.61$ and $3.29{\pm}0.43$, respectively. With regards to 'attitude toward EAPs', the scores were significantly affected by 'self-reported health status'(p<0.05). With regard to 'knowledge toward EAPs' and 'concern toward EAPs', the scores were significantly affected by 'supplements for health' (p<0.05; p<0.001). For university students' right choices of EAPs, information and consumer education wthin the university curriculum on these products are necessary.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the contribution of actual cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk, as well as, individual, psychosocial, and work-related factors as predictors of CVD risk perception among Korean blue-collar workers. Methods: The participants were 238 Korean blue-collar workers who worked in small companies. Data were collected through a survey; anthropometric and blood pressure measures; and blood sampling for lipid levels. Results: Blue-collar workers had high actual CVD risk and low CVD risk perception. The significant predictors of risk perception included perceived health status, alcohol consumption, knowledge of CVD risk, actual CVD risk, decision latitude, and shift work. The model explained 26% of the variance in CVD risk perception. Conclusion: The result suggests when occupational health nurses are giving routine health examination in small companies, they can enhance CVD risk perception in blue-collar workers by providing essential information about CVD risk factors and personal counseling on the individual worker's CVD risk status.
This study sought to investigate the relationship between perception, body awareness, and beauty management behavior in the untact era in their MZ generation's, and as a result of the study, it was confirmed that there is a causal relationship between variables. For the empirical analysis of the study, a survey was conducted online(Google questionnaire) in Seoul/Gyeonggi area from June 7 to 26, 2021. Of the 548 questionnaires, 512, excluding 36, were analyzed using SPSS V.21.0. Among the sub-factors of perception in the untact era, it was confirmed that the social environment perception and human relationship perception are key factors that negatively affect body consciousness and beauty management behavior, and so does self-awareness(p<.05). Next, it was confirmed that, among the sub-factors of body consciousness, appearance management awareness and appearance/body care effort were key factors that positively affected beauty management behavior, and that appearance confidence was also an important factor that positively affected beauty management behavior(p<.05). Therefore, through this study, we intend to provide basic data for product development, programs, and marketing strategies that can cope with changes in the beauty consumption market in preparation for the post-COVID era.

The result showed that 84.8% of the respondents consumed CR-MG, showing significant difference by gender and occupation (p<0.05). It also revealed that they consumed it knowing their effect, showing significant difference by all general characteristics except for resident area and BMI, respectively. Kind of multi-grain (MG) mixed with cooked rice was high in the order of SoRiTae (80.1%) > brown rice (73.4%) > black rice (72.7%) > waxy rice (61.0%), respectively. As for the mixing type of MG, 61.4% of the respondents preferred non-mixed product rather than pre-mixed product. 2 or 3 kinds were preferred numbers of MG mixed with rice, showing significant difference by age (p<0.001) and marital status(p<0.05), respectively. 59.9% of the respondents answered 'high nutritive value more than polished rice' as the major reason for like, whereas 31.3% answered 'greatly rough more than polished rice' as that for dislike, respectively. By the use of multiple regression analysis, it revealed that health was the most significant variable which affect the satisfaction of CR-MG. There is only limited evidence for the association between fruit and vegetable consumption and mental health in Korea. This study examined the relationship between fruit and vegetable consumption and mental health according to physical activity among Korean adult women. Based on data of the Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (2014-2016), a total of 5,332 participants were included in this analysis. With increasing fruits and vegetables consumption, the prevalence of depressive mood was significantly decreased (p for trend=0.0248). The prevalence of stress perception (p for trend=0.0422) and the prevalence of depressive mood (p for trend=0.0300) were decreased with increasing fruit consumption. The prevalence of depressive mood was significantly decreased when fruit and vegetable consumption (p for trend=0.0370) and fruit consumption (p for trend=0.0356) were increased for those Korean women with low intensity of physical activity. For the obesity group (Body mass index 25 kg/㎡), the prevalence of depressive mood was decreased with increasing fruit and vegetable consumption (p for trend=0.0111) and increasing fruit consumption (p for trend=0.0165). In conclusion, fruit and vegetable consumption were associated with mental health according to physical activity among Korean adult women. Further prospective studies are warranted to explore the association between fruit and vegetable consumption and mental health among Korean adult women.
