남성 보정 속옷에 대한 인식유형 -30~40대 남성을 중심으로- (Recognizing the Types of Men's Foundation Garments -Focusing on 30s and 40s Men-)

  • This study aimed to typify men's beliefs, perceptions, values, and attitudes, regarding foundation underwear, and examine the characteristics of each perception. Thirty-one statements on men's correctional underwear were selected, and Q classification was conducted with 20 men in their 30s and 40s as the P samples. Factors were extracted using principal component analysis and varimax rotation. Type 1 was the "fit improvement disadvantage cover type", which covered the target area, and improved the clothing fit. Type 2 was referred to as the "highlighting the advantages of chest correction" type, that was used to improve chest correction and exercise efficiency. "Positive wear for compensation of the abdomen", was listed as type 3, and was worn for abdominal correction. It was believed that type 3 could be used to correct body shape even if it was uncomfortable. Type 4, the "hip-up correction functional type", emphasized functionality based on its hip-up correction design.

A Study on the Comparison of Recognition of Body Types in Korean and Chinese College Female Students

  • Ever since China adopted a free market economy, it has been basking in unprecedented economic growth. It has now emerged as one of the most promising markets in the world for the near future. The purpose of this study was to investigate of Chinese and Korea college female students's cognitive body type and to suggest basic informations for high quality clothing merchandising for china export. The subjects in this study were 430 college female students, aged from 18 to 24 living in Beijing(215) and Seoul(215). The survey were taken from June to July, 1999. SAS(Statistical Analysis System) is used for frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation, χ²-test. The results of this study are as follows. The 90% of Chinese collge female students has under 4000 yuan for monthly income, and they consume less than 1000 yuan for clothing purchasing for one year. About 42% chinese students are interested in controlling of physical body shape. The Korean college female students has from 1,000,000 won to 10,000,000 won for monthly income, and the 84% of them consume less than 1,000,000 for clothing purchasing for one year. It represents of economical difference between China and Korea. Examination on the Korean and Chinese self-perception on obesity of the body as a whole showed that both groups perceived themselves as normal or slightly overweight. More Korean respondents regarded their weight as normal than the Chinese did. The Chinese female college students perceived themselves rather overweight, and held a lower satisfaction level about their physical construction. While the Korean female college students showed low satisfaction level about specific bodily parts, they held a normal level of satisfaction about their physical construction as a whole. It is noteworthy that more Chinese respondents generally held lower satisfaction impressions about their physical construction than their Korean counterparts. It is needed to different merchandising project for export clothing in China.

남성 맞춤 정장 재킷의 여유량을 결정짓는 요인들에 관한 연구 (Characteristics of Ease in Men's Custom-fit Business Jackets)

  • 본 연구는 개개인에게 최적 맞음새를 제공하는 남자 맞춤 재킷 소비자들을 대상으로 신체 부위별 치수 및 재킷 치수를 측정하여 여유량을 산출하였고, 또한 여유량 특성을 파악하기 위해 각 여유량을 신체 특성, 연령, 신체 인식정도 및 선호하는 재킷 실루엣별로 비교 분석하였으며 동시에 소비자들이 재킷 전체 맞음새를 고려할 때 중요하게 여기는 부위를 연령 및 체격별로 분석하였다. 신체 치수에 따라 가장 민감하게 여유량이 변화한 부위는 가슴둘레였으며 허리둘레와 엉덩이둘레의 여유량은 신체 치수보다는 재킷 실루엣을 위해 조정되는 부위였다. 신체 치수 다음으로 맞음새와 여유량에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인은 연령이었다. 또한 재킷의 전체 맞음새를 위해 소비자들이 가장 중요하게 여기는 부위는 어깨의 맞음새였으며 특히, 피트되는(fit)스타일을 선호하는 소비자들은 전체적으로 각 부위별, 특히 허리 맞음새에 특별한 관심을 보였다. 자신의 신체에 대한 인식 중 엉덩이에 대한 인식에 따라 가슴둘레, 허리둘레, 엉덩이둘레에서의 선호 맞음새가 달랐다. 또한 뚱뚱하다고 생각하는 소비자들이 오히려 여유가 적은 허리둘레 맞음새를 선호하였으며 이는 허리둘레 여유량을 조정함으로써 전통적인 재킷 실루엣을 유지하기 위한 것으로 해석 할 수 있다. 이상과 같이 각 체격별로, 연령별로 그리고 선호 스타일별로 중요하게 여기는 맞음새 부위와 실제 재킷 부위별 여유량이 달랐으므로 기성 재킷 생산 업체에서는 타겟 체형 및 타겟 연령에 따라 재킷 부위별 여유량과 맞음새 중요 순위 및 그 정도를 달리하여야 소비자 만족도를 높일 수 있을 것이다.

비만 여중생의 건강통제위 성격과 섭식행동 (Locus of Control and Eating behavior of Obese Middle School Girls)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between health locus of control(HLOC) and eating behavior in obese middle school girls. Method: The sample consisted of 170 obese middle school girls in Seoul. Result: 1. The average scores of HLOC were HLOC-Internal ; 4.11, HLOC-External ; 2.45, HLOC-Chance ; 2.09. 2. The average scores of eating behavior factors were Disinhibition ; 2.69, Dietary Restraint ; 2.67, Hunger ; 2.55. 3. The HLOC-Internal and eating behavior(dietary restraint and hunger) were correlated positively. The HLOC-Chance and disinhibition was correlated positively. But HLOC-Chance and dietary restraint was correlated negatively. The HLOC-External and eating behavior(dietary restraint, disinhibition and hunger) were correlated positively. 4. There was not a significant difference in HLOC depending on the demographic characteristics(grade, degree of obesity, father & mother's body shape, existence of obese sibling). There were significant differences in HLOC-Internal and HLOC-External according to thinking about oneself who is obese or not. 5. There was not a significant difference in eating behavior depending on the demographic characteristics(grade, degree of obesity, father & mother's body shape, existence of obese sibling, perception of oneself as a obese). Conclusion: This study has shown a correlation between HLOC and eating behavior. As a result of these findings, clinical and school nurses should be involved in management and counselling of obese girls concerning individual health locus of control and eating behavior.

코로나-19 확산 시기 여고생의 외모 관심도와 식행동 및 식사의 질과의 관련성 (High School Girls' Interest in Beauty and Its Association to Eating Behaviors and Dietary Quality during the COVID-19 Pandemic)

  • This study assessed the beauty care behavior and the dietary attitudes, eating behaviors, and dietary quality related to beauty care in accordance with the level of interest in beauty care by examining 558 female high school subjects in the Incheon area. The study aimed to identify the interest in beauty care on the part of adolescent girls that impacts their dietary life and provide basic data for nutrition education forming desirable dietary habits. The interest in beauty care on the part of female high school students is relevant to dietary life and dietary attitude, with the high-level interest group attempting to use diet foods more frequently and attempting weight control because of their low satisfaction with their body type. On the other hand, a high level of interest in appearance failed to lead to the practice of a varied and balanced dietary life. Therefore, nutritional education is necessary to avoid a high level of interest in beauty care, leading to an incorrect perception of body shape and excessive weight control. Furthermore, nutrition education is necessary to link interest in appearance to the beauty of a healthy body based on nutritional balance by connecting the interest in appearance to a varied and balanced dietary life that goes beyond the category of practice.

뱀부테라피 인지에 따른 피부미용인의 인식차이 (A Study on the Differences in Perceptions of Skin Beauties According to the Recognition of Bamboo Therapy)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 뱀부테라피 인지에 따른 피부미용인의 인식의 차이를 알아보는 것이다. 연구를 위하여 피부미용실에 종사하는 피부관리사 남자와 여자 301명을 무작위로 선정하여 2019년 4월 19일부터 4월 29일까지 28일 동안 진행하였다. 본 연구의 결과에서 뱀부테라피를 인지하고 있는 피부미용사는 뱀부테라피를 인지하고 있지 않은 피부미용사와 비교해서 뱀부테라피에 대한 관심과 흥미가 매우 높으며 산업현장에서 활용할 의사가 매우 높게 나타났다. 그들은 뱀부테라피를 체형관리 효과와 동시에 피부미용사의 관절보호에도 도움을 줄 수 있는 특수한 관리 방법이라고 인식하고 있었다. 따라서 뱀부테라피를 피부미용산업현장에서 활용할 수 있도록 보편성과 활용성을 높이기 위한 홍보 마케팅의 방안과 전문적으로 교육을 받을 수 있는 교육적 인프라를 구축하여야 할 것이다. 본 연구는 피부관리 작업의 피로를 줄일 수 있는 뱀부테라피의 특수관리를 재조명 했다는 것에 의미가 있다.

동안이미지 연출을 위한 동안 메이크업에 관한 연구 (A study on baby face makeup to create a baby face image)

  • 동안 이미지를 위한 메이크업 기법으로서 일반적인 사항에 따라 동안 메이크업의 표현 기법에 대한 인식의 차이가 있을 것이다.' '전체적인 특성에 따라 동안 메이크업 표현 기법에 대한 인식의 차이가 있을 것'이라는 두 가지 가설이 뒷받침되었으며, 동안 이미지를 연출하기 위한 메이크업 기법은 남녀 모두에게 중요한 기능임은 물론, 외모로. 사회활동을 위한 '신체적 자원'으로 일상생활에서 심신의 능률향상과 정신능력의 현저한 향상이 있음을 확인하였다. 동안 이미지 메이크업 표현'에 대한 연구 결과를 통해 동안 이미지에 대한 인식과 관심은 높지만 동안 이미지 제작에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 동안 메이크업을 위한 표정 요소의 필요성은 동안 이미지 개발을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 예상되며, 본 연구는 동안 이미지 및 동안 메이크업을 위한 외적 얼굴 관리에 중점을 두었다.

How to Enhance Perceived Usefulness, Ease of Use, and Fit of Wearables: An Exploratory Study about the Physical Attributes of Smart Wristbands and Smartwatches

  • Wearable devices, attached to the human body, track and enhance users' activities, health, and communication. Therefore, considering ergonomic factors in product design is crucial. However, previous research has somewhat overlooked the importance of integrating ergonomic design elements into a broad spectrum of design factors. This study aims to examine the impact of physical attributes inherent in smart wristbands and smartwatches on the perceived functional value, specifically, perceived usefulness, ease of use, and fit. A survey was conducted among 289 US adults who had experience using smart wristbands or smartwatches. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, t-test, MANOVA, and regression analysis in SPSS version 29. The results showed that the shape of the front display significantly influenced perceived ease of use, and the product's weight had a substantial impact on both perceived ease of use and fit. Furthermore, distinct technical features on the front display had varied effects on perceived usefulness, ease of use, and fit. Notably, the presence of activity tracking, alarm, and calendar functionalities led to distinct differences in ease of use and fit. Features such as distance tracking, phone call, social media notifications, text messaging, and time display functions showed significant influences on the perception of fit. These findings provide insights into the physical values of smart wristbands and smartwatches as perceived by users.

Multimodal Attention-Based Fusion Model for Context-Aware Emotion Recognition

  • Human Emotion Recognition is an exciting topic that has been attracting many researchers for a lengthy time. In recent years, there has been an increasing interest in exploiting contextual information on emotion recognition. Some previous explorations in psychology show that emotional perception is impacted by facial expressions, as well as contextual information from the scene, such as human activities, interactions, and body poses. Those explorations initialize a trend in computer vision in exploring the critical role of contexts, by considering them as modalities to infer predicted emotion along with facial expressions. However, the contextual information has not been fully exploited. The scene emotion created by the surrounding environment, can shape how people perceive emotion. Besides, additive fusion in multimodal training fashion is not practical, because the contributions of each modality are not equal to the final prediction. The purpose of this paper was to contribute to this growing area of research, by exploring the effectiveness of the emotional scene gist in the input image, to infer the emotional state of the primary target. The emotional scene gist includes emotion, emotional feelings, and actions or events that directly trigger emotional reactions in the input image. We also present an attention-based fusion network, to combine multimodal features based on their impacts on the target emotional state. We demonstrate the effectiveness of the method, through a significant improvement on the EMOTIC dataset.

서울 일부지역 중학생의 희망 체질량지수에 따른 에너지 섭취 상태 (Energy Intake according to Expected Body Mass Index of Middle School Students in Seoul)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 청소년들이 희망하는 체질량지수에 따른 에너지 섭취 상태를 규명하는 것이다. 이에 280명의 중학생을 대상으로 현재 또는 희망하는 체중과 신장을 근거로 체질량지수에 따른 비만도군으로 분류하여 체형 및 체중조절에 대한 인식과 에너지 섭취 상태를 비교, 분석하였다. 전체 대상자의 평균 연령은 15세이었으며, 남학생은 147명(52.5%), 여학생은 133명(47.5%)이었다. 현재 비만도군에 따라 성별 분포는 유의한 차이가 없었으나, 희망하는 비만도군에 따라서 저체중군은 남녀 각각 15%와 82%, 정상체중군은 71.4%와 16.5%, 과체중군은 13.6%와 1.5%로 유의한 차이를 보여(P<0.001) 여학생은 체중감소를, 남학생은 체중증가를 더 원하는 것으로 나타났다. 자신의 체형에 대해 저체중군은 적당하다(38.7%), 정상체중군은 적당하다(45.5%)와 약간 뚱뚱하다(39%), 과체중군은 약간 뚱뚱하다(65.2%)라는 응답이 가장 높아, 현재 비만도군에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였다(P<0.001). 체중조절에 대한 관심에 있어 현재 저체중군과 정상체중군은 보통이다(36.9%, 44.7%), 과체중군은 관심이 많다(52.2%)라는 응답이 가장 높았던 반면, 저체중 희망군은 관심이 많다(55.7%), 정상체중 희망군은 보통이다(51.2%), 과체중 희망군은 관심이 없다(45.5%)라는 응답이 가장 높아 유의한 차이를 보였다(각 P<0.001). 체중조절 경험이 있다는 비율은 전체대상자의 47.9%이었으며, 현재 과체중군(71.7%), 정상체중군(51.2%), 저체중군(34.2%) 순으로 유의하게 높았고(P<0.001), 희망 비만도군에 따라서는 저체중 희망군(57.3%), 정상체중 희망군(40.2%), 과체중희망군(36.4%) 순으로 높았다(P<0.001). 전체대상자의 1일 에너지 섭취량은 2,057.1 kcal이었으며, 현재 비만도군에 따라 유의한 차이가 없었다. 그러나 희망 비만도군에 따라서는 저체중 희망군의 에너지 섭취량이 1943.1 kcal, 정상체중 희망군이 2165.0 kcal, 과체중 희망군이 2152.1 kcal로 유의한 차이를 보였다(P<0.001). 이상의 연구결과를 종합할 때, 여학생은 남학생보다 체중감소를 더 희망하고, 체중감소를 원할수록 체중조절에 대한 관심과 경험이 높고, 에너지 섭취가 낮은 것으로 나타났다.
