대화형 에이전트의 설명 기능과 프라이버시 염려 수준에 따른 사용자 경험 차이에 관한 연구 (A Study on the User Experience according to the Existence of Explanation Facilities and Individuals Privacy Concern Level)

  • 오늘날 스마트 스피커는 점차 개인화되어 사용자들을 위해 특정 제품을 추천하는 추천 에이전트의 역할을 하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 스마트 스피커의 대화형 에이전트 맥락에서 '설명 기능'이 투명성, 인지된 신뢰, 사용자 만족도, 재사용 행동 의도, 프라이버시 위협, 추천 품질에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 것이다. 또한 개인의 프라이버시 염려 수준이 평가에 영향을 미치는지 알아보기 위해 염려 수준을 사용자 구분을 위한 척도로 활용하였다. 연구결과, 설명이 있는 조건이 없는 조건 보다 모든 측정 변인에서 높게 평가되었음을 확인하였고, 프라이버시 염려 수준이 인지된 신뢰, 프라이버시 위협에 미치는 정적인 영향을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 스마트 스피커 맥락에서 설명 기능이 적용될 수 있다는 시사점과 프라이버시 역설 현상을 발견하였으며, 프라이버시 염려 수준에 따른 인지부조화의 가능성을 제시하였다.

일부 중학생의 체중에 따른 체중인식, 체중조절 및 식행동에 관한 연구 (Weight-related Perceptions, Practices and Eating Behaviors of Middle School Students: Associations with BMI)

  • This study investigated the association between the weight status of middle school students and the various weight-related characteristics including desired weight, weight perception, weight-related practice, physical activity, and overeating behavior. Questionnaires were administered to 473 middle school students (178 boys and 295 girls) in Daejeon. Boys and girls were divided into three groups respectively; (1) underweight (BMI<$5^{th}$ percentile) (2) normal weight ($5^{th}$ percentile$\leq$BMI<$85^{th}$ percentile) (3) overweight (BMI$\leq85^{th}$ percentile). Using BMI calculated from measured height and weight, 14.0% of boys and 6.8% of girls were underweight, and 16.3% of boys and 14.2% of girls were overweight. However, among this sample of students, 38.4% of boys and 13.6% of girls perceived themselves as underweight and 29.4% of boys and 44.9% of girls perceived themselves as overweight. We found that overweight students reported their body weights lower and their heights higher compared to non-overweight students, resulting in an underestimation of BMI. Based on desired BMI, 79.9% of the girls desired to be underweight and 73.0% of the boys desired to be normal weight. Overweight or normal weight students were less satisfied with their body weights than underweight students. Girls had more weight control experience and concern compared to boys. Overweight girls spent longer times in watching TV compared to non-overweight girls (p < 0.001) and had more overeating behaviors (p < 0.05). Overweight students reported that they ate snacks less frequently than non-overweight students, which may be due to their tendency to report less eating. In conclusion, significant gender differences and weight status differences existed in weight perception, weight satisfaction, and weight control experience and concern. Because perception of overweight is likely to lead to unhealthy eating behaviors and weight control, efforts for adolescents to improve accuracy of weight perceptions and to understand the benefits of being healthier are needed.

호스피스 자원봉사자의 죽음의식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Death Orientation of Hospice Volunteers)

  • In order to provide data basic to the training of hospice volunteers, this study was carried out to investigate the personal attributes and the Death Orientation of hospice volunteers. 80 hospice volunteers were sampled from those registered on Seoul Catholic Social Service and Korean Association for Volunteers Effort conveniently. Data were gathered from August 16th to October 3rd, 1991. The instrument used for this study was the Death Orientation Questionnaire developed by Thorson and Powell, subjective age and religiosity questionnaire developed by Bell and Batterson, and subjective health criteria developed by Baumann. Data were analyzed using frequency, mean, standard deviation, Chi-square, and t-test by SPSS - program. Result of this study are summarized as follows ; 1. The majority of hospice volunteers perceived younger in their subjective age than their chronological age (65%), Perceived themselves to be healthy subjectively(88.8%), and revealed to have high religiosity score(96.3%) 2. Level of Death Orientation of hospice volunteers was revealed to be moderate.(Mn=2.06, SD=0.40, range, 1.45-3.53) Among 25 Death Orientation items, respondents revealed the highest concern over the afterlife (Mn=3.53, SD=0.71), revealed the lowest anxiety about not knowing the next world after his or her death(Mn=1.45, SD=0.69), and relatively high concern over leaving careful instructions after death (Mn=2.97, SD=0.83) Respondents revealed low Death Orientation score(below 1.99) to 12 negative items(2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, 22). Thus hospice volunteers seem to be preparing for their own death and shown positive Death Orientation to some items relatively. 3. According to personal attributes (demographic, socioecnomic, and relevant variables) of hospice volunteers, there were no significant statistic differences of Death Orientation score. Thus pre-existing Death Orientation of hospice volunteers and their motive of participation to the hospice service are to be considered important variables influencing the Death Orientation.

Information Privacy Concerns and Trust in SNS

  • 본 연구는 SNS에서 정보 프라이버시 염려와 신뢰 그리고 그와 관련된 요인들을 분석하였다. 특히, 정교화 모델을 바탕으로 정보품질, 프라이버시 정책, 지각된 SNS 앱 명성, 낙관주의를 추출하였으며, 정보 프라이버시 염려, SNS 플랫폼에 대한 신뢰, 사용의도 간의 관계를 분석하였다. 마지막으로 신뢰전이 이론을 적용하여 SNS 사용자들에 대한 신뢰와 SNS 플랫폼에 대한 신뢰와의 관계를 분석하였다. 연구 결과에 따르면 정보품질과 프라이버시 정책, 낙관주의는 정보 프라이버시 염려에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 지각된 SNS앱 명성은 정보 프라이버시 염려에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 정보 프라이버시 염려는 SNS 플랫폼에 대한 신뢰에 유의한 영향을 미치며 SNS 사용자들에 대한 신뢰는 사용의도에 유의한 영향을 미치나 SNS 플랫폼에 대한 신뢰는 사용의도에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 신뢰전이 이론에 따라 SNS 사용자들에 대한 신뢰가 SNS 플랫폼에 대한 신뢰로 전이가 되는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 SNS 기업들이 고객의 정보 프라이버시 보호 행동과 신뢰에 대한 이해와 서비스 향상에 도움을 줄 것으로 본다.

대(對)중국 역직구사이트 평가요인이 지속적 이용의도에 미치는 영향 (The influence of evaluation factors of overseas direct sales website on the continuous intention of Chinese consumers)

  • 본 연구는 가파르게 성장하고 있는 대(對)중국 역직구시장에 주목하였다. 이를 위해 중국소비자들을 대상으로 국내의 역직구사이트에 대한 평가모델을 수립하였으며, 소비자들의 특성 별로 차이 검정을 실시하여 세분 시장 별로 구체적인 전략적 대안을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구결과 사이트 이용에 대한 우려 수준이 확신 수준 보다 향후 소비행동인 지속적 이용행동에 강력한 파급효과가 있음을 실증하였다. 또한 사이트 이용에 대한 확신과 우려 수준에 영향을 미치는 선행요인 가운데에는 기존의 연구들에서 논의 되어온 혜택지각요인, 위험지각요인 뿐 만 아니라 사회문화적 영향요인 또한 유의미한 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인하였다. 아울러 본 연구는 이용자들의 관여수준에 따라 역직구사이트에 대한 평가를 비교해 봄으로써 경로간의 차이를 분석하여 집단 별로 요구되는 실무적 시사점들을 제시하고자 하였다.

옹호개념에 관한 신생아실 간호사의 인지 내용 분석 (A Content Analysis of the Advocacy Concept Perceived by Nurses at Nursery Room)

  • This descriptive study was done to detect the possibilities of the development of the advocacy concept in nursing. The subjects consisted of 3 nurses who had agreed to participate to the study, working at nursery room in a general hospital. Data was collected from May 22 to June 13 in 1995 through tape recorded intensive-interview, and written down, then content analyzed qualitatively related to the infant advocacy. 1. Derivation fo the meaning about advocacy concept 1) The situations in need of infant advocacy were 12 categories : malpractice, overcharing, negligence, unnecessary services, and services without consent, and so on. 2) Fourteen categories of advocacy activities percived by nurses were derived from participants' statements. Protesting infant or his /her families against their counterpart, providing informations to families, cooperating with medical staffs for her patient, then calling medical staff not so as to be maleficient to her patient in its rank. 3) The expected result of advocacy activities perceived by nurses was respectively positive to her patient or families, but negative to nurse. 4) The feelings of nurses in the sitution of advocacy were expressed in to concern, comprehension, regret, powerlessness, charity, desire, and so on. 5) Nurses perceived that advocacy activities could be influenced positively by factors related to nurses' qualification and negatively by factors related to doctor's overdo and nurse's underdo. 2. Categorization of the meaning and their relationships In case of antecedental situation in need of infant advocacy, nurse perceives her patients need the advocacy to get a benefit through nurse's information, intervention speaking, building cooperations. The expected factors to influence advocacy activities perceived by nurses, are the power imbalance between medical staffs, the nurse's qualification, and the nurse's feeling from the situation. The above results suggest that the infant care situation will be recommendable field work place for concept development of advocacy with hybride model when it involves infant's families.

Attitudes and Acceptability of Smart Wear Technology: Qualitative Analysis from the Perspective of Caregivers

  • Smart wear integrates computing technology into fabric or a garment for additional functionality. This research explored the attitudes and opinions of the use of smart wear from the viewpoint of caregivers. Thirty two individuals including care providers of children and adult family members with health problems participated in focus group interviews. Participants reported being interested in smart wear because of the potential to detect the location (GPS) of a dependent (e.g., child, elderly) and to monitor vital signs. Participants indicated perceived advantages of smart wear such as identifying geographical location and effectiveness. Perceived concerns mentioned were privacy/security issues and accuracy of data. Participants taking care of dependents without a specific disease were hesitant to adopt and pay for smart wear. However, caregivers of elderly individuals expressed positive adoption intentions and willingness to reasonably pay for smart wear. They indicated expectations that potential insurance would provide coverage for cost savings. Caregivers expressed the need of specific requirements for future adoption such as customizability, and comfort/safety. Specific to smart wear clothing, most respondents preferred it be an undershirt or a jacket with a sensor located in the shoulder area. The findings from this study can be used in product development, promotion and marketing of smart wear.

인지된 근린환경요인이 지역주민들의 자전거이용만족도에 미치는 영향 -상주시를 대상으로 (Analysis for Impact Perceived Neighborhood Environmental Factors on Resident's Satisfaction of Bicycle Use)

  • 본 연구는 자전거이용 활성화를 위한 기초연구로 지역주민들이 인지하는 근린환경요인이 자전거이용만족도에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 상주시를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고 순위형 로짓모형을 이용하여 인지된 근린환경요인과 자전거이용만족도의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 분석결과 자전거도로의 질, 자전거 편의시설의 질, 주요시설의 접근성, 자전거이용시 안전성, 가로환경의 다양성 등이 자전거이용만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 이러한 결과를 토대로 자전거 이용환경 설계 시 고려되어야 할 사항들을 제시하였다.

Regional comparison of dietary intakes and health related behaviors among residents in Asan

  • Inadequate dietary intakes and poor health behaviors are of concern among rural residents in Korea. This study is conducted to compare dietary intakes, dietary diversity score (DDS), mean nutrient adequacy ratio (MAR) and health related behaviors by rural, factory and urban areas in Asan. A total of 930 adults (351 men and 579 women) were interviewed to assess social economic status (SES), health related behaviors and food intakes by a 24-hour recall method. Mean age was 61.5 years with men being older (64.8 years) than women (59.3 years, p<0.001). Men in the factory area were older than rural or urban men while urban women were the youngest. Education and income of urban residents were higher than other area residents. There were more current drinkers in urban area while smoking status was not different by regions. Physical activity was significantly higher in rural or factory areas, whilst urban residents exercised more often (p<0.05). Rural or factory area residents considered themselves less healthy than others while perceived stress was lower than urban residents. Energy intakes were higher in urban residents or in men, however, after SES was controlled, energy intake did not show any differences. Energy-adjusted nutrient intakes were significantly higher in the urban area (p<0.05) for most nutrients except for carbohydrate, niacin, folic acid, vitamin $B_6$, iron and fiber. Sodium intake was higher in factory area than in other areas after SES was controlled. DDS of rural men and MAR of both men and women in the rural area were significantly lower when SES was controlled. In conclusion, dietary intakes, diversity, adequacy and perceived health were poor in the rural area, although other health behaviors such as drinking and perceived stress were better than in the urban area. In order to improve perceived health of rural residents, good nutrition and exercise education programs are recommended.

핀테크(fintech) 사용자와 시스템 특성이 지각된 인식과 지속사용의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Characteristics of User and System on the Perceived Cognition and the Continuous Use Intention of Fintech)

  • 본 연구는 핀테크 사용자 및 시스템 특성이 지각된 인식과 지속사용의도에 미치는 영향을 주는 요인이 무엇인지를 살펴보았다. 자료수집은 광주광역시에 거주하고, 스마트폰 등을 사용하는 직장인 등을 대상으로 600명의 설문을 수행하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 사용자들은 핀테크 서비스에 대한 자기효능, 혁신성, 적합성은 핀테크 서비스의 지각된 인식과 사용의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 시스템 특성은 핀테크 서비스의 지각된 인식 및 사용의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 사용자 특성과 시스템 특성에서 위험성에 대한 가설은 기각되었는데, 개인정보 및 전자금융거래가 유출에 의한 금융사기 등의 피해사례가 급증함에 따라 개인정보유출 및 보안에 대한 우려를 가장 우선시하는 것으로 보인다. 따라서 핀테크 서비스를 확산시키기 위해서는 기업의 마케팅 전략으로 편리성과 사용의도를 저해하는 위험성 등의 불편사항을 제거해 줄 수 있는 핀테크 서비스 전략이 수립되면 효과적일 것이라고 사료된다.
