아동의 인성특성, 부모에 대한 애착 및 부부갈등과 또래괴롭힘 (Correlates of Peer Victimization : Personality Traits, Parent Attachment, and Marital Conflict)

  • In this study of the correlates of peer victimization, 584 $4^{th}$ grade children in Seoul answered questionnaires regarding their personality traits, parent attachment and the marital conflict of their parents. Subjects and their peers also reported on peer aggression and victimization by peers. Data were analyzed by partial correlation, controlling for gender. Children's sociability/activity related positively to peer-rated peer aggression and negatively to self- and peer-rated victimization by peers. Children's shyness/emotionality related positively to self-reported peer aggression and to self- and peer-rated victimization by peers. Parent attachment related negatively to self-reported peer aggression and victimization by peers and positively to peer-rated peer aggression. Marital conflict related positively to self-reported peer aggression and to self- and peer-rated victimization by peers. Marital conflict was the most influential on peer aggression and children's personality traits were on victimization by peers.

  • The emerging peer-to-peer (P2P) model has recently gained a significant attention due to its high potential of sharing various resources among networked users. Super-peer based unstructured P2P systems have been found very effective by dividing the peers into two layers, super-peer and ordinary-peer Super-peers deal with all queries instead of ordinary-peers. The existing P2P systems assume all super-peers have equal responsibility and capabilities even if all super-peers have relative advantages and disadvantages. In this paper, we suggest the ISP2P (Intelligent Super-peer based P2P) which allows to select the best super peer to ordinary-peers. We classify super peers according as the capacity of an ordinary-peer a super-peer. We show that these considerations could improve the performance of the response time and Provide higher quality results to all peers in the network.

어머니의 양육행동 및 또래 경험과 아동의 자아존중감간의 관계 (The Relations of Maternal Childrearing Behaviors and Peer Experiences to Children's Self-Esteem)

  • The relationships of maternal childrearing behaviors and peer experiences to children's self-esteem were examined with a sample of 433 5th- and 6th-grade elementary school students (236 boys and 197 girls) and their mothers. Children answered the questionnaires on peer experience (victimization by peers and peer aggression) and self-esteem, and their mothers answered the questionnaires on maternal childrearing behaviors. Maternal warmth was significantly related to children's self-esteem both in boys and girls. The warmer their mothers, the higher the children's self-esteem. Maternal permissiveness/nonintervention was related to self-esteem only in boys; the more permissive/nonintervention the mothers, the lower the boys self-esteem. Peer experiences (victimization by peers and peer aggression) were significantly related to self-esteem both in boys and girls; the more victimization by peers and peer aggression, the lower their self-esteem. Maternal warmth was related to victimization by peers only in girls; the warmer the mothers, the less victimization by peers experienced by girls. The effect of maternal warmth on self-esteem was mediated by victimization by peers for girls, which indicates that maternal warmth doesn't have a direct influence but an indirect influence on victimization by peers of children. Victimization by peers was related to peer aggression both in boys and girls. The more victimization by peers they experienced, the more peer aggression they showed.

  • This study examined the mediating role of representation of peers on the relations between children's representation of mother and social competence. Subjects were 547 elementary school children. Baron and Kenny's model (1986) was used to investigate mediating effects. Results were (1) there were no differences in the representation of mother by gender. Girls had more positive representation of peers than boys. (2) Girls' representation of mother had more influence on social competence than boys'. (3) Girls' representation of peers had more influence on social competence than boys'. (4) Representation of peers mediated relations between representation of mother and social competence. Girls' representation of peers had more mediating effect than boys'.

Super-peer unstructured P2P systems have been found very effective by dividing the peers into two layers, super-peer and edge peer. Super peer deal with all Queries instead of edge peers. The existing P2P systems assume all super peers have equal roles and capabilities. However, all super peers don't so that edge peers should select the best super peer in order to handle Queries well. In this paper, we suggest the ISP2P (Intelligent Super-peer based P2P) which allows to select the best super peer to the edge peers. We classify super peers according as the capacity of a edge peer to a super peer. We show that considering the quality of a edge peer to a super peer can improve the performance of the response time and bandwidth.

어머니의 거부적 양육행동, 유아의 공격성과 사회적 기술이 유아의 또래배척에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Maternal Rejective Parenting Behaviorsd and Preschoolers' Aggression and Social Skills on Preschoolers' Exclusion by Peers)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of maternal rejective parenting behaviors and preschoolers' aggression and social skills on preschoolers' exclusion by peers. Subjects were 91 5- to 6-year-old preschoolers(49 boys, 42 girls) and their mothers. Data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and stepwised multiple regression analysis. The major findings are summarized as follows: (1) preschoolers' exclusion by peers was positively correlated with maternal rejective parenting behaviors and preschoolers' aggression. On the other hand, preschoolers' exclusion by peers was negatively correlated with preschoolers' social skills. (2) The most influential factor on preschoolers' exclusion by peers was preschoolers' cooperative behaviors, and the next influential factor on preschoolers' exclusion by peers was maternal rejective parenting behaviors. In conclusion, maternal rejective parenting behaviors and preschoolers' social skills influence preschoolers' exclusion by peers.

  • 인터넷 상에서의 비디오 스트리밍을 위한 대안으로서 P2P(Peer-to-Peer)가 관심을 받고 있다. P2P 시스템은 피어들의 대역폭 기여에 의존하고 있지만, 피어들은 자신의 대역폭을 제공하는 것을 꺼리는 경향이 있다. 본 논문에서 우리는 상향 대역폭 기여를 촉진하는 P2P 스트리밍 시스템을 제안한다. 제안 시스템에서 피어들 간의 공평성을 유지하고, 제어 가능한 방법으로 협력적인 피어와 이기적인 피어에게 다른 품질의 비디오를 제공한다. 제안 시스템은 기여한 상향 대역폭에 기초한 평가 기법으로 피어가 협력적인지 이기적인지를 결정하고, 협력적인 피어들에게는 인센티브로서 고품질의 비디오를 제공한다. 또한 제안시스템이 효과적으로 동작할 수 있도록 트리 재건조 알고리즘을 제안한다. 시뮬레이션을 통해, 트리 재건조 알고리즘이 효과적으로 동작하며, 인센티브 기법이 협력적인 피어에게 더 많은 하향 대역폭을 할당하고 이기적인 피어에게는 저품질 비디오를 제공함을 보인다.

대입수학능력시험 성적 자료를 이용한 학급 내 동료 효과의 분석 (Effects of Classroom Peers on Test Scores: Evidence from the College Scholastic Ability Test of year 1995)

  • 본 논문은 같은 학급 내 동료들(classroom peers)의 특성이 개별 학생의 학업 성적에 미치는 영향을 1995학년도 대학수학능력시험 자료를 이용하여 추정한다. 1990년대 중반에는 평준화 제도에 의하여 학교와 학급 간 학생 배정이 외생적이라는 점을 활용한다. 실증 결과에 의하면, 학급 내 동료집단은 개별 학생의 학업 성적에 유의한 영향을 미친다. 그리고 하위권 동료의 부정적인 영향이 상위권 동료의 긍정적인 영향을 압도한다. 이러한 동료 효과의 구조는 우리나라에서 평준화 대 비평준화 논쟁에 관하여 중요한 함의를 제공한다.

아동의 위축 및 공격성에 대한 관련변인들의 관계: 거부적 양육행동, 또래괴롭힘, 부정적 부모표상 및 부정적또래표상의 인과효과 (Variables Related to Children's Withdrawal and Aggression: Causal Effects of Rejection, Victimization, and Negative Representation by Parents and Peers)

  • Subjects of this study were 621 children selected from 5th and 6th grades of elementary schools in Pusan. Factors associated with parents and peers varied by type of peer maladjustment(aggressive type and withdrawn type, compared with a control group). Particularly, the level of factors associated with peers varied from the control group by peer maladjusted types(aggressive types and, withdrawn types). Causal relationships of parents' rejection, victimization, negative representation by parents and by peers on child?s maladjustment varied by behavior types. Negative representation of peers had a direct effect only on withdrawal. On the other hand, negative representation of peers had no effect on aggression. Victimization had a first total effect on both withdrawal and aggression.

인성특성 및 또래에 의한 괴롭힘과 청소년의 외로움간의 관계 (The Relations of Personality Characteristics and Victimization by Peers to Loneliness in Adolescents)

  • The relations of personality characteristics, such as shyness, sociability and self-disclosure and victimization by peers to loneliness in adolescents were examined with a sample of 485 second-grade highschool students(256 boys and 229 girls). They answered the questionnaires on loneliness as well as shyness, sociability, self-disclosure, and victimization by peers. All variables were significantly related to loneliness. The more shy they were and the more victimization by peers they experienced, the more lonely they were. The more sociable they were and the more self-disclosure they showed, the less lonely they were. All variables significantly predicted loneliness and the most influential predictor of loneliness was victimization by peers, indicating that the influence of victimization by peers on loneliness is so powerful for the adolescents.
