  • The grade-schooler could develope computer literacy education with the Peer tutoring system which is method of one higher level learner can teach and help another learner. This system can hold the result in common each other, also a progress to get the successful result. Moreover, they do the project in cooperation. After the application of the peer tutoring, the basic of computer ability increase in quality. We have side-effects which are increased the interest of computer function after real teach and learning process. And we get good atmosphere which is confidence each other and helping mood in studying another school work. If this study should process changed form, it will be developed more regular system than this study.

  • This study examines the effects of reflective journal writing on the mathematics self-efficacy in reciprocal peer tutoring. Participants were 38 high school students in Gyeonggi province who attended at a summer intensive mathematics course for 4 weeks. This study used a mixed method. SPSS 21.0 program was used to analyze the quantitative data, and the interviews, observational journals and reflective journals of 6 students were used to analyze qualitative data. According to the results, all the subcategories of mathematics self-efficacy, - mathematics problem-efficacy, mathematics success-efficacy, mathematics learning-efficacy, and mathematics subject-efficacy - improved except mathematics occupation-efficacy. In case of mathematics success-efficacy and mathematics problem-efficacy, students revealed the greatest improvement. In conclusion, reflective journal writing in reciprocal peer tutoring could be suggested as a treatment program to improve students' mathematics self-efficacy.

  • The purpose of this study is to understand in-depth the effect of self-directed practice in for core fundamental nursing skills applying reciprocal peer tutoring on the learning of nursing college students. The study participants were 15 students in the 4th grade of the department of nursing, and data were collected through in-depth interviews. The results of analysis resulted in four themes: 'motivation of learning', 'self-directed learning', 'improving achievement', and 'insufficient learning requirements'. The core fundamental nursing skills applying reciprocal peer tutoring has a positive experience of inducing motivation of learning for participants through a comfortable environment and improving self-confidence, and gaining opportunities to lead prior learning and learn in the learner's language. However, there have been experiences where additional knowledge expansion is difficult and feelings of insecurity is felt due to insufficient learning requirements. Therefore, when applying the reciprocal peer tutoring method to self-directed practice, it is considered to be effective if the professor applies a method that can sufficiently satisfy the learner's learning needs.

  • This pilot study is to investigate the effects of peer tutoring on self-leadership, positive psychological capital(PPC) and learning satisfaction of nursing students, and to examine the feasibility of following study through identifying problems in research design. Before the experiments, there was no significant defferences confirming homogeneity of between groups which consisted with 10 and 8 subjects each among general characteristics, and also among their mean ranks by Mann-Whitney U test(Z=-1.40~-.31, p=.160~.754). There was a significant difference in mean rank of 'hope', one of the subdomains of PPC, between groups before and after 10 times of peer tutoring as experiments(Z=-2.27, p=.023), there were positive correlations between self-leadership and confidence, hope and learning satisfaction each before and after experiments(r=49, p=.03), (r=65, p=.01). Finally, the feasibility of experimental study applying this experimental design to investigate the effects of peer tutoring on self-leadership, PPC and learning satisfaction of nursing students was confirmed in this results.

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate a group activity, reciprocal peer tutoring (RPT), in order to investigate advantages and challenges of RPT in promoting cooperative and collaborative learning environment for EFL University reading instruction. The participants in this study were 89 students taking an English reading course at a Korean university. RPT is a learning strategy whereby learners help each other and learn by teaching. This program was supported by a Vygotskyan perspective which assumes that learners gain mastery and develop cognitive skills through social interaction with more proficient others and their environment. This study relied particularly on participant perceptions through questionnaire survey and Anonymous Online class Report of the course. This study showed various advantages for tutors such as learning through teaching and becoming more autonomous and responsible for their own learning. Non-threatening and highly motivating learning atmosphere are parts of benefits for tutees. Other advantages for tutees included improved level of academic self-confidence, and motivation. This study also revealed several drawbacks associated with the problem of inaccuracy in students' production and students' demand for more direct teacher role. (182 words).

  • This study was to examine effects of On-Line Community Assisted Small Group Peer Tutoring(OCSPT) on university students' learning strategies. To achieve the purpose, twenty-eight university students were randomly selected. Fourteen students participated in OCSPT and they were divided into small groups consisted of 2 to 5. Students in experimental group participated in OCSPT for total thirty-four hours during sixteen weeks. There is no treatment for the other fourteen students in control group. To measure students' learning strategies, Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) shorts has been used. The result revealed that students in experimental group showed higher possession than control group in resource-management strategy(p<.05). However, there were no significant difference between both groups in cognitive and motivative strategies.

  • This paper designs a peer tutoring in Flipped Learning environments for effective game programming(TGF), suggests a result of survey and a lesson learned from game programming in terms of students' and professors' perspectives in hands-on program training using Snake game programming as an applied example. The TGF is more effective than the traditional classroom to achieve the learning goals of game programming course.

  • Though web-based learning is known to be effective for computer aided practical class, it lacks in cooperative human feedback and self-adjustment. This paper presented the effects of blended learning that was based on web-based learning for learning by level and blended with peer tutoring for reducing the differentials of scholastic achievements between the students. For experimental purpose, high school students were divided into two groups and web-based EXCEL tutoring tool was developed and applied to both groups in advance. After this learning, we applied the web-based learning for comparative group as before and peer tutoring for experimental group respectively, Performance result evaluated by SPSS showed that the Blended Learning has affirmative effect in scholastic achievements. Especially, students under the medium level of experimental group could narrow the gap to the high level students in its group and this eventually improved the overall achievements of experimental group with blended learning.

  • Purpose: This study aimed to explore nursing students' experiences of neonatal nursing simulations using peer tutoring. Methods: In this qualitative content analysis study, data were collected using a narrative survey and focus group interviews with 27 third-year nursing students and six fourth-year nursing students from April to May 2022. Content analysis of the collected data was conducted. Results: Four categories-"stabilizing emotionally through each other", "advancing together", "difficulties in relationships", and "hoping to continue"-and nine sub-categories were extracted. The sub-categories "reduced burden" and "gaining confidence" were grouped into the first category, "stabilizing emotionally through each other". The sub-categories "being motivated to learn," "increased learning ability", and "preparation as a process" were grouped under "advancing together", and "attitudes affecting study environment" and "depending on help" were grouped into the third category of "difficulties in relationships". The fourth category of "hoping to continue" had "wanting to supplement for development" and "wanting to participate in different roles" as sub-categories. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, we expect pediatric nursing practicum education to improve through the active use of neonatal nursing simulation education incorporating peer tutoring.
