초등예비교사의 영어수업시연에 나타난 동료피드백 연구 (Pre-service English Teachers' Peer Feedback on Microteaching)

  • 우리는 본 연구를 통해 영어 모의 수업시연에 대한 예비교사들의 피드백을 분석함으로써 이들이 수업관찰에 초점을 두는 부분이 무엇인지를 살펴보는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 우리는 국내 교육대학교 1곳에 재학중인 예비 초등학교 교사 40명을 대상으로 모의 수업시연을 실시한 뒤에 관찰하고 이에 대한 동료 피드백을 제공하여 수집된 피드백 내용을 수업관찰 분석 기준에 따라 분류하여 빈도 분석하였다. 분석 결과 총 707개의 피드백이 도출되었으며, 대부분은 교수 언어(40.2%)로 분류되었으며, 교수학습 활동(20.9%), 상호작용(12.6%), 교구재활용(11.5%), 수업분위기 및 학습환경(8.8%), 수업 흐름(3.7%), 정리 및 평가(1.3%), 도입 및 수업 목표(1.1%) 등이 그 뒤를 이었다. 개별적으로는 교사 영어의 양과 속도, 목소리 크기 및 억양의 적절성에 대한 피드백(16.5%)의 빈도가 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 예비교사의 주된 초점이 교사의 말이나 언어 및 영어 유창성에서 비교적 두드러지게 나타났으며, 이는 영어교사로서 영어 능력의 중요성을 인식하고 있다는 점을 알 수 있다. 따라서 우리는 교사교육기관에서 교사의 영어 능력뿐만 아니라 다양한 관점에 대한 인식을 제고할 필요가 있다.

의과대학 소그룹 지도 프로그램 운영의 사례연구: SNU 학습멘토링, 피어튜터링, 학습코칭, 의학연구 멘토링 프로그램을 중심으로 (A Case Study on Small Group Teaching Programs in Medical School: SNU Mentoring, Peer Tutoring, Coaching, and Research Mentoring Programs)

  • This paper will discuss the issues in four different small group teaching programs administered by the Seoul National University Medical School, and will address and propose solutions to those issues for improving the effectiveness of the programs. Medical school has a particular educational environment that differs from the rest of the university. Therefore, program managers should develop better models to fit medical school needs by reviewing our practices and planning for improvement. As managers of these programs, the authors interviewed students applying to participate. If our responsibilities for these programs continue for a sufficient period of time and we have a sufficient number of participants hereafter, we will do a survey and generate more reliable conclusions from quantifiable data. However, given that these programs are in their early stages, we present here some introductory remarks on the theory behind the programs and the outcomes we expect. The discussion will define and explain the different needs and roles of each participant (professor, student, and manager) in the program, and will suggest some practical ways for the managers in the programs to make improvements to the existing model so that the enhanced programs can better suit the needs of the medical school.

조부모의 학령 초기 손자녀 대리양육 경험에 관한 질적 연구 (Listening to the Voices of Grandparents Raising Primary-Grade Grandchildren Using a Qualitative Study)

  • Objective: The present study examined the perspectives of grandparents raising their grandchildren in an attempt to better understand grandparents' child-rearing experience while providing kinship foster care to their primary-grade grandchildren. Methods: Data were collected through individual in-depth interviews with eight grandparents who have raised one or two primary-grade (ages 8-10) grandchildren using a qualitative approach. Results: First, the participants viewed the reason for their kinship foster care as a failure for caring for their own children and accepted the present grandparent-care provision as their responsibility. Second, the participants communicated constant struggles with their own health and grandchild-care as well as positive/negative emotions associated with the care provision. Third, most of the participants did not fully understand the developmental needs of their primary-grade grandchildren. Fourth, the participants articulated concerns for their primary-grade grandchildren's learning, peer interactions, school adjustment, and extra-curricular activities. Lastly, the participants all agreed on hoping to raise grandchildren with good personality traits as members of a society and to have them fill the gap from the loss of their parents. Conclusion: Although most participants accepted the current circumstances as their obligation, they still noted difficulties in child-care provision. Given the developmental needs of grandchildren and the resource needs of grandparents, proper and continuous intervention approaches should be developed/provided.

도서관 활용수업에 대한 사서교사의 자기평가 분석 (An Analysis on Teacher Librarians' Self-reported Appraisals about School Library-based Instruction)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 도서관 활용수업을 운영한 사서교사의 자기평가 결과에 나타난 성과와 한계를 분석하고 현실적인 활성화 방안을 제안하는 것이다. 분석 결과 도서관 활용수업의 계기는 주로 교과 교사의 학습 자료 요구이고, 사서교사의 교육적 역할은 정보 탐색 및 접근과 정보 종합 및 표현에서 이루어지고 있다. 기존 연구와 비교하여 본 연구에서 나타난 도서관 활용수업의 추가적인 제한 요소는 수업에서의 사서교사 역할 제한, 교과교사의 수업권 보호 심리와 수업 공유에 대한 거부감 그리고 다수의 동일 교과 교사와의 협력의 어려움과 교과 교실제 등이다. 사서교사들이 생각하는 도서관 활용수업의 활성화 방안은 동료교사와 친밀감을 형성하고, 학교 교육과정협의회와 동료장학 및 교사의 공개수업에 적극적으로 참여해야 한다는 것이다.

한국어교육에서의 형태초점교수법 연구: 비판적 검토 (Research on Form-focused Instruction in Korean Language Education: A Critical Review)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 한국어 교육에서의 형태초점교수법의 효과를 검증하기 위하여 지금까지 행해진 실증적 연구를 비판적 시각으로 검토하는 것이다. 이 목적을 달성하기 위해 다수의 논문 데이터베이스를 검색하여 총 66개의 논문을 찾았으며, 이중 실증적 자료를 제시한 12개의 논문을 연구대상으로 채택하였다. 채택된 논문들을 연구 참여자, 목표 문법, 처치, 측정, 효과성을 기준으로 분석하였다. 전반적으로 형태초점교수법에 속하는 다양한 교수 전략들은 한국어를 제2언어로 가르치는데 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 형태초점 교수법에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하는 데 필요한 체계를 제공할 것이며, 또한 선행 연구의 메타 분석에 필요한 정보를 제공할 것이다.

연령, 성별, 사회측정적지위에 따른 아동의 자기능력지각과 부모의 책임지각 (Perceived competence of Children and Perception of responsibilities of Parents Based on Age, Sex, Sociometric Status)

  • The purpose of this study is to see difference based on age, sex, sociometric ststus for perceived competence of children and difference about perception of responsibilities degree of parents of these children. the content of study as follows. 1. How is the difference about perceived competence of children based on age, sex, sociometric status. 2. How is the difference about perception of responsibilities of children based on age, sex, sociometric status. 3. How is the relationship between father and mother. The subject of this study is children and their parents of 126 persons of the third grade, sixth grade of S elementary school, the second grade of S middle school, the second grade of S girls' middle school which are located in Pusan city. This study used a peer nomination among sociometric assesment method as sociolity assessment means, self-perception profile for children of Harter(1985) as perceived competence assessment means of children and used self-perception profile for children which amends fits for parents. the collected data are managed by SPSS/PC+ program. We analyze three-way ANOVA to verify study question No, one, two, analyze t-verification and Pearson's product moment correlations to verify study question No. three. The result of this study as follows. First, in investigating difference about perceived compretence of children based on age, sex, sociometric status, we can see that children perceive high, self-ability for low ages. Also, boys than girls, popular children than rejected children, neglected children perceive high self-ability. Second, in investigating difference about perception of responsibilities of children based on age, sex, sociometric status, we can see that mother perceive responsibilities in learning sphere, exercise sphere, the whole self-value sphere and father perceive responsibility only in social sphere. Third, in investigating relation between perception of responsibilities of father and mother, this shows that difference between perception of responsibilities of father and mother is not showed ane have (+) interrelation of r=.46(P<.001) between perception of responsibilities of father and perception of responsibilities of mother.

음악요법에 관한 연구 (The Literature Review of Music Therapy in the United States)

  • Based on the literature, status and role the music therapist in America was reviewed for this study. The process of developing a music therapy program in America suggests to us many things: In America, music therapists have sustained a mutually beneficial status with their clients for, over fifty years. Excellence in academic education and clinical training enable music therapists to continue to provide quality music therapy. The magnitude of change in to music therapy in the United States, however creates the challenge of providing real access to music therapy continues in the future. Music therapy is the use of music in the accomplishment of therapeutic aims: the restoration, maintenance, and improvement of mental and physical health. Music therapists work with individuals of all ages who require special services due to behavioral. social. learning, or physical disabilities. Employment may be in hospitals, clinics, day care facilities, schools, community mental health centers, substance abuse facilities, nursing homes, hospices, rehabilitation centers, correctional facilities, or private practices. The American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) was founded in 1998 as a result of a union between the American Association for Music Therapy (founded in 1971) and the National Association for Music Therapy(founded in 1950). Music therapists are highly qualified professionals who have completed approved degree programs and had clinical training in order to receive Board Certification(MT-BC), with the designation of Registered, Certified, or Advanced Certified Music Therapist(RMT. CMT - or ACMT). AMTA provides several mechanism for monitoring the quality of music therapy programs: Standards of Practice. a Code of Ethics, a system for Peer Review, a Judical Review Board, and an Ethics Board. According to the results of this study, the suggestions were as follows: 1. It is concluded that music therapy as a nursing intervention can be effective for the clients. 2. It is a great challenge to develope a music therapy program for nursing intervention however, it is also task and responsibility to further the development of nursing.

사회-정서적 어려움을 겪고 있는 과학영재에 대한 고찰 (Review on Science and Invention-gifted Students Having Social and Emotional Problem)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 중학교 과학 발명 영재학생들의 사회-정서적 어려움의 정도를 알아보고 이 어려움을 해결하기 위한 방안을 모색 해보는 것이다. 연구 결과 영재학생들은 낮은 자아 존중감으로 또래 관계 맺기, 의사소통과 협동에서 어려움을 느끼고 있었으며 자신의 스트레스 처리능력, 다중처리능력에 대한 자신감이 부족함을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 영재교육원, 가족, 학교로부터의 과도한 기대로 인해 자신의 영재성에 대한 의심, 자아 정체성의 혼란, 진로에 대한 고민을 갖고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 현재 영재교육의 학업적 성취와 인지활동 위주의 교육에서 벗어나 영재들이 사회-정서적 어려움을 해결하고 영재성을 키울 수 있도록 도움을 주는 것이 필요하다. 이를 위해서는 영재교육에 학생들이 사회-정서적 어려움을 극복할 수 있도록 지속적이고 개별화된 영재상담 프로그램의 운영이 필요함을 확인할 수 있었다.

소집단 토론 과정에서의 언어적 상호작용 분석 (Analysis of Verbal Interaction in Small Group Discussion)

  • 본 연구에서는 4개 소집단의 학생간 토론 양상을 조사하였다. 소집단 토론 과정에서 나타나는 언어적 상호작용을 녹음 및 녹화한 후, 기록 원고를 작성하고, 분석하였다. 개별 진술, 상호작용 단위, 에피소드 수준의 분류들을 개발하였다. 개별 진술 분석에서 학생들의 이전 성취도와 지식 구성 과정 기여도 사이에는 뚜렷한 관계가 없었다. 상호작용 단위 분석에서는 부분 참여형 상호작용과 대칭적 상호작용이 상대적으로 많이 발견되어 학생간의 상호작용이 부분적이고 피상적인 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 에피소드 분석에서는 제시된 의견의 수용이나 부분적인 정교화 유형이 가장 흔히 나타났고, 변증법적인 대화는 드물었다.

학교공간 개선이 학생, 교사, 학교 및 지역사회에 미치는 다면적 효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Multiple Effects of School Renovation on Students, Teachers, Schools and Local Community)

  • This study explored what impacts can be brought to students, teachers, schools, and community by the improvement of physical environment of school spaces. For the purpose, we studied 5 schools (2 elementary and 3 middle schools) who took part in the Happy School Project funded by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism in 2008. Ten series of Focus Group Interviews were carried out with a sample of 28 students and 20 teachers who experienced both before and after the school renovation project. The analysis of the interview data revealed that although the project was concerned with a part of school space such as restroom or reading room, it could bring multiple effects such as following: First, the students addressed that they felt "good" about school environment, which led them to feel good about their "schools." This change was found out to bring about more positive attitudes towards a school in general, public manners, peer relationships, emotional well-being, and learning. Second, the teachers became to value more their principals' leadership, being more satisfied with their work environment and more concerned about management of school facilities, and happier with students in terms of teaching and guidance than before. Third, all the 5 schools seem to go through a noticeable change in terms of a school climate and ethos in a more positive and harmonious way. Finally, 'spread', 'promotion', and 'openness' effects were discussed with regard to the relationships between the schools and local community.
