2차원 신경회로망 모델에 근거한 광연상 메모리의 실현 (Optical Implementation of Associative Menory Based on Two-Dimensional Neural Network Model)

  • 본 논문에서는 2차원 Hopfield 신경회로망 모델에 근거한 새로운 광 연산 메모리 시스템을 구현하였다. 2차원 영상의 실시간 처리를 위하여 입력 공간광변조기와 메모리 마스크는 상용 LCTV를 사용하고 특히, 4차원 메모리 행렬은 2차원 부행렬 마스크의 2차원적 배열로 구성하였으며 임의의 이력 패턴과 메모리 행렬간의 내적 계산은 multifocus hololens를 사용하여 처리하였다. 출력 영상은 전자적으로 thresholding 된 후 2차원 CCD 카메라를 사용하여 다시 연상 메모리 시스템의 입력으로 궤환되도록 루프를 구성하였다. 본 시스템의 연상 기억 및 오류 정정 능력에 대한 실험결과를 통해 본 논문에서 제시된 새로운 2차원 신경회로망 모델의 광학적 구현 시스템은 앞으로 패턴 인식, machine vision 등과 같은 분야에 실질적 응용이 가능하다.

아공정(亞共晶)Cr 주철(鑄鐵)의 기지조직(基地組織)에 미치는 Si의 영향(影響) (Study on the effect of silicon content on matrix of hypo-eutectic Cr alloyed cast iron)

  • The morphologies of eutectic cell formed during solidification affect on the mechanical properties in high Cr cast iron. In order to investigate the influence of Si on the structure, five kinds of specimen containing 16.42% Cr with varying amount of Si (0.51%, 1.17%, 2.22%, 2.71%, 3.56%) were poured into shell mould preheated $330^{\circ}C$ at $1510^{\circ}C$. The effect of Si on matrix in hypo-eutctic Cr cast iron (2.48% C, 16.42%) were studied through its mechanical tests and observation of microstructure using of metallurgical microscope, EPMA, SEM and Image analyzer systematically. The results obtained from the above studies are as follows: 1. Because of ${\Delta}T$ decreasing with increasing Si content, the morpologies of colony change into uniform bar-type carbide from plate-type ones, moreover eutectic colony size (Ew) becomes narrow and spacing of carbide wider. 2. As Si content increases, the amount of carbides also increases and most of Cr were dissolved in carbides while Si in matrix. 3. The hardness, tensile strength and wear resistance were increasing while impact value decreased with increasing Si content. 4. In fracture section, small amount of dimple pattern was observed in less than 1.17% Si but more than 2.22% Si river pattern was presented.

  • The multilayer expanson of single layer NN (Neural Network) was needed to solve the linear seperability problem as shown by the classic example using the XOR function. The EBP (Error Back Propagation ) learning rule is often used in multilayer Neural Networks, but it is not without its faults: 1)D.Rimmelhart expanded the Delta Rule but there is a problem in obtaining Ca from the linear combination of the Weight matrix N between the hidden layer and the output layer and H, wich is the result of another linear combination between the input pattern and the Weight matrix M between the input layer and the hidden layer. 2) Even if using the difference between Ca and Da to adjust the values of the Weight matrix N between the hidden layer and the output layer may be valid is correct, but using the same value to adjust the Weight matrixd M between the input layer and the hidden layer is wrong. Recognitron III was proposed to solve these faults. According to simulation results, since Recognitron III does not learn the three layer NN itself, but divides it into several single layer NNs and learns these with learning patterns, the learning time is 32.5 to 72.2 time faster than EBP NN one. The number of patterns learned in a EBP NN with n input and output cells and n+1 hidden cells are 2**n, but n in Recognitron III of the same size. [5] In the case of pattern generalization, however, EBP NN is less than Recognitron III.

Comprehensive Analysis on Wrinkled Patterns Generated by Inflation and Contraction of Spherical Voids

  • We comprehensively investigated the wrinkles of a stiff layer covering a spherical void embedded in a rubber matrix after the void experienced inflation or contraction. We developed an easy experimental way to realize the inflation and contraction of the voids. The inflation took place in a void right beneath the surface of the matrix and the contraction happened in a void at the bottom of the rubber matrix. In the inflation, the wrinkle at the center of the deformation was random, and the pattern propagated into rabyrinthine, herringbone, and then oriented parallel lines as the position was away from the center of the inflation to the edge. The cracks were concentric, which were perpendicular to the parallel wrinkled pattern. In the contraction, the wrinkle was simply concentric around the surface of the void without any crack. The cracks were found only near the center of the deformation. The strain distribution in the stiff layer after the inflation and contraction was theoretically analyzed with simulations that were in excellent agreement with the experimental results.

  • 최근 많은 지능형 보안 시나리오 및 범죄수사에서는 사진이 아닌 얼굴 영상과 다수의 정면 사진과의 매칭을 요구한다. 기존의 얼굴 인식 시스템은 이러한 요구를 충분히 충족시킬 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 동일 인물의 스케치와 사진 간의 양식 차이를 줄임으로써, 이질적 얼굴 인식 시스템의 성능을 향상시키는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 텍스처 기술자들(그레이 레벨 동시 발생 행렬, 멀티스케일 지역 이진 패턴)을 통하여 영상의 텍스처 특징들을 각각 추출하고, 이를 바탕으로 고유특징 정규화 및 추출기법을 통해 변환 행렬을 생성하게 된다. 이렇게 생성된 벡터들 간 계산된 스코어 값은 스코어 정규화 방식들을 통하여 최종적으로 스케치 영상의 신원을 인식하게 된다.

오스템퍼드 구상흑연주철의 파괴특성에 미치는 기지조직의 영향 (Effect of Matrix Structures on the Fracture Characteristics of Austempered Ductile Iron)

  • The Effects of the matrix structures and the amount of the retained austenite in austempered ductile iron(ADI) which contains Ni, Cu and Mo on fracture characteristics were inverstigated. The structures were changed from lower bainite to mixture of Lower and upper bainite, and then to upper bainite as austempering temperature increased. A higher austempering temperature yielded lower tensile strength and hardness, but higher impact valve and $K_{IC}$. In addition, the amount of the retained austenite increased with the austempering temperatures. Fracture surface showed a fibrous pattern and a dimple pattern with increasing the retained austenite amount.

  • Balanced Homodyne Detection 방법으로 국소 진동자의 위상을 조절해 주면서, 각 위상에 대하여 광전류를 측정하여 전류세기의 분포함수를 구하여 이 값을 라돈 역변환을 포함한 Filtered Back Projection하여 빛의 양자역학적 상태를 규정하는 위그너 함수를 구하고 이로부터 간접적으로 밀도행렬을 구한다. 또 위상에 관계없이 구해진 분포함수에서 Pattern함수를 이용하여 밀도행렬을 구할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 위의 모든 과정을 전산시늉을 통하여 여러 양자역학적 상태 입력 광에 대하여 예측되는 위그너 함수와 밀도 행렬을 구하였다.

  • The objective of this study was to examine the infiltration pattern in a soil developed from granite using tile nonfluorescent and nontoxic food dye, Brilliant Blue FCF (C$_{37}$ $H_{34}$$N_2$Na$_2$$O_{9}$S$_3$) as the dye tracer. A homogeneous matrix flow occurred in the A horizon with weak, medium granular structure and fingering at the interface of finer-textured A horizon and coarser-textured C horizon. Pegmatitic vein originated from the granite and plant root in C horizon induced preferential flow.w.

A Generalization of the Linearized Suffix Tree to Square Matrices

  • The linearized suffix tree (LST) is an array data structure supporting traversals on suffix trees. We apply this LST to two dimensional (2D) suffix trees and obtain a space-efficient substitution of 2D suffix trees. Given an $n{\times}n$ text matrix and an $m{\times}m$ pattern matrix over an alphabet ${\Sigma}$, our 2D-LST provides pattern matching in $O(m^2log{\mid}{\Sigma}{\mid})$ time and $O(n^2)$ space.

  • The dynamic walking and the inverse dynamics of the biped walking robot is investigated in this paper. The biped robot is modeled with 14 degrees of freedom rigid bodies considering the walking pattern and kinematic construction of humanoid. The method of the computer aided multibody dynamics is applied to the dynamic analysis. The equations of motion of biped are initially represented as terms of the Cartesian coordinates, then they are converted to the minimum number of equations of motion in terms of the joint coordinates using the velocity transformation matrix. For the consideration of the relationships between the ground and foot, the holonomic constraints are added or deleted on the equations of motion. The number of these constraints can be changed by types of walking pattern with three modes. In order for the dynamic walking to be stabilizable, optimized trunk positions are iteratively determined by satisfying the system ZMP(Zero Moment Point) and ground conditions.
