Optimal Path Generation of Flight Motion Simulator for Hardware in the Loop Simulation (고기동 유도탄 HILS를 위한 비행자세모의기 최적 경로 산출)

  • An optimal flight motion simulator path generation method is proposed for hardware in the loop simulation of high maneuverable missile. The proposed method consists of open loop and closed loop path calculation algorithm based on the energy optimal control strategies. The optimal angle command is able to protect the simulator from high acceleration shock at initial control phase.

  • This research presents an A* based algorithm which can be applied to Unmanned Ground Vehicle self-navigation in order to make the driving path smoother. Based on the grid map, A* algorithm generated the path by using straight lines. However, in this situation, the knee points, which are the connection points when vehicle changed orientation, are created. These points make Unmanned Ground Vehicle continuous navigation unsuitable. Therefore, in this paper, B-spline curve function is applied to transform the path transfer into curve type. And because the location of the control point has influenced the B-spline curve, the optimal control selection algorithm is proposed. Also, the optimal path tracking speed can be calculated through the curvature radius of the B-spline curve. Finally, based on this algorithm, a path created program is applied to the path results of the A* algorithm and this B-spline curve algorithm. After that, the final path results are compared through the simulation.

Incomplete 2-manifold Mesh Based Tool Path Generation (불완전한 2차원다양체 메시기반 공추경로생성)

  • This paper presents a new paradigm for 3-axis tool path generation based on an incomplete 2-manifold mesh model, namely, an inexact polyhedron. When geometric data is transferred from one system to another system and tessellated for tool path generation, the model does not have any topological data between meshes and facets. In contrast to the existing polyhedral machining approach, the proposed method generates tool paths from an incomplete 2-manifold mesh model. In order to generate gouge-free tool paths, CL-meshes are generated by offsetting boundary edges, boundary vertices, and facets. The CL-meshes are sliced by machining planes and the calculated intersections are sorted, trimmed, and linked. The grid method is used to reduce the computing time when range searching problems arise. The method is fully implemented and verified by machining an incomplete 2-manifold mesh model.

The Low Power Algorithm using a Feasible Clustert Generation Method considered Glitch (글리치를 고려한 매핑가능 클러스터 생성 방법을 이용한 저전력 알고리즘)

  • In this paper presents a low power algorithm using a feasible cluster generation method considered glitch. The proposed algorithm is a method for reducing power consumption of a given circuit. The algorithm consists of a feasible cluster generation process and glitches removal process. So that glitches are not generated for the node to which the switching operation occurs most frequently in order to reduce the power consumption is a method for generating a feasible cluster. A feasible cluster generation process consisted of a node value set, dividing the node, the node aligned with the feasible cluster generation. A feasible cluster generation procedure is produced from the highest number of nodes in the output. When exceeding the number of OR-terms of the inputs of the selected node CLB prevents the signal path is varied by the evenly divided. If there are nodes with the same number of outputs selected by the first highest number of nodes in the input produces a feasible cluster. Glitch removal process removes glitches through the path balancing in the same manner as [5]. Experimental results were compared with the proposed algorithm [5]. Number of blocks has been increased by 5%, the power consumption was reduced by 3%.

  • Due to the rapidly growing complexity of VLSI circuits, test methodologies based on delay testing become popular. However, most approaches cannot handle custom logic blocks which are described by logic functions rather than by circuit primitive elements. To overcome this problem, a new path delay test generation algorithm is developed for custom designs. The results using benchmark circuits and real designs prove the efficiency of the new algorithm. The new test generation algorithm can be applied to designs employing intellectual property (IP) circuits whose implementation details are either unknown or unavailable.

  • In CAD systems, a surface to be machined is expressed by a series of curves, such as B-spline, Bezier and NURBS curves, which compose the surface and then in CAM systems the curves are divided into a large number of line or arc segments. These divided movement commands, however, cause many problems including their excessive size of NC data that makes almost impossible local adjustment or modification of the surface. To cope with those problems, the necessity of real-time curve or surface interpolators was embossed. This paper presents an efficient real-time tool-path generation method fur interpolation of NURBS surfaces in CNC machining. The proposed tool-path generation method is based on an improved iso-scallop strategy and can provide better precision than the existing methods. The proposed method is designed such that tool-path planning is easily managed in real-time. It proposed a new algorithm for regulation of a scallop height, which can efficiently generate tool-paths and can save machining time compared with the existing method. Through computer simulations, the performance of the proposed method is analyzed and compared with the existing method in terms of federate, total machining time and a degree of constraint on the scallop height.

  • In this paper, as a positioning technology for predicting the movement path of a moving object using a recurrent neural network (RNN) model, which is a deep learning network, in an indoor environment, continuous location information is used to predict the path of a moving vehicle within a local path. We propose a movement path generation technique that can reduce decision errors. In the case of an indoor environment where GPS information is not available, the data set must be continuous and sequential in order to apply the RNN model. However, Wi-Fi radio fingerprint data cannot be used as RNN data because continuity is not guaranteed as characteristic information about a specific location at the time of collection. Therefore, we propose a movement path generation technique for a vehicle moving a local path in an indoor environment by giving the necessary sequential location continuity to the RNN model.

  • Recently, according to the various taste of consumers, the design of a product is changed variously and complicatedly. The complicated product is not usually constructed with one path but multi-path. By the way, in machining, higher precision and the reduction of leading and machining time is required. But, for the multi-patch sculptured surface, the amount of machining data becomes large. This means the increase of leading and machining time. In this study, the tool path generation method with reparameterization is proposed for multi-patch sculptured surface and variable step size using NURBS is used to satisfy the precision and to reduce leading and machining time.
