Human behavior and emotions are influenced by experiences accumulated through the past and present. To realize artificial intelligence technology that understands and sympathizes with humans, cognitive computing technology that automatically analyzes human behaviors, habits, and emotions associated with specific situations and uses past data and domain knowledge is required. In this study, we examine the latest research trends on human-understanding cognitive computing technology that recognizes human behavior and emotions, stores them as experience data, and provides services by analyzing the stored data. Further, we introduce high-quality data collection research in real-life and services for improving physical and mental health. We also review key issues essential for developing these technologies.
Analysis of the syntactic structure of the modern Chinese adverbs for time 'Cengjing (曾經)' and 'Yijing (已經)' was performed to examine the tenses and aspects of the terms. The corresponding Korean words were examined and the terms in both languages were compared. The syntactic structures used in China and South Korea were found to be different. We hope the study of the Chinese language will help Korean students. 'Cengjing (曾經)' specific projects with 'aspect' of, 'Past experience aspect', 'Past continuous aspect', 'Past continuous aspect' in the past tense. [ED: unclear, please reword] These correspond to '_었 (았)_', '_었었_' in the Korean language. 'Yijing (已經)' has 'finished phase' of concrete projects, 'Past experience aspect', 'Past continuous aspect', also has a specific project tense, the 'past tense', 'present tense', 'future tense', and so tense. [ED: unclear, please reword] Adjectives can also be modified with a 'change of status'. These correspond to '_었 (았)_', '_고_', '_었었_', '곧' etc. in Korean. 'Cengjing (曾經)' and the dynamic auxiliary 'Guo (過)' were compared to determine whether they have the aspect and tense features. However, 'Guo (過)' can only modify the predicate verb, so it possesses only aspect characteristics. 'Cengjing (曾經)' modifies the range more widely. 'Yijing (已經)' may be modified by the adverb 'Zai (在)' whereas 'Cengjing (曾經)' may not. Additionally, 'Yijing (已經)' can be modified by predicate adjectives and noun predicates, while 'Cengjing (曾經)' cannot.

This study aims to interpret the current landscape design of the place and landscape of memory, such as post-industrial parks and memorials that have an old, aging appearance from an aesthetic perspective. The objects of the study are large parks and open spaces that have collective memories for visitors. Visitors' aesthetic experience from these places and landscapes of memory could be explained by aesthetic concepts such as the sublime, nostalgia, and melancholy. Because these aesthetic concepts are associated with past traumas, visitors may be affected morbidly. However, due to the capability of the media to form an aesthetic experience when visitors visit a given place and landscape, visitors can autonomously adjust the distance to the place of memory and gain an aesthetic experience. The aesthetic experiences through the sublime, nostalgia, and melancholy are based on temporality and irreversibility. Temporality here refers to a characteristic of memory, and time in the place and landscape of memory and is based on the irreversibility of time, as time cannot go back. Both the place memory and the memory that is recalled from the combination with visitor's past memories and knowledge are two major factors involved in the construction of the aesthetic experience in the place and landscape of memory. The results of the present study are meaningful in that this study presents a framework for a better understanding and use of both the place memory and appreciators' memory in the design process of a place and landscape of memory and also criticizes a materialistic approach that fails to take into account the visitors' memories.
The purpose of this study was to construct a grounded theory as the basis for nursing intervention by describing and analysing the holistic lived experiences of clients receiving long-term hemodialysis. The subjects of this study were fifteen persons receiving regular hemodialysis regimen at artificial kindey treatment centers in two different university hospitals, and who were able to participate in conversation and were available for long and dup interviews. Eight of the subjects were male and seven were female and their ages ranged from 30's to 60's. The length of the hemodialysis experience ranged from two months to six years. The collection and analysis of data were done in accordance with the grounded theory methodology of Strauss & Corbin. The method to collect the data mainly depended. on long and deep interviews, participant observation and focused group interviews and the equipment used to collect data were a portable tape recorder and field notes. The study is summarized as follows : 1. The meaning of holistic lived experiences of clients receiving long -term hemodialysis was found to be uncertainty. which was identified as the core category. 2. The main categories following the core category were found to be shock, ambiguity, social support and quality of life. 3. Through the main category the type of behavior newly formed by clients receiving long-term hemodialysis was found to be as follows. That is to say, in the circumstances of shock caused by the identified fact and the ambiguity of hemodilysis they formed a quality of life based on social support, which was found to be a kind of chaotic phenomenon. 4. The lived experiences of clients receiving long-tern hemodialysis was found to include nine categories : emotional shock, feelings of isolation, burden, unclearness, dependency, help from others, coping strategies, maintenance of self-esteem and transitional life. 5. The intervening factors influencing each category are as follows : 1) The factors influencing 'emetional shock' were found to be set age, the level of knowledge received in advance, locus of control, the period of struggle against the disease before hemodialysis and whether any serious illness existed. 2) The factors influencing 'feelings of isolation' were found to be religion and the length of the hemodialysis experience. 3) The factors influencing 'burden' were found to be sex, economic situation, employment status and the length of the hemodialysis experience. 4) The factors influencing 'unclearness' were found to be sex, age, religion. economic situation, the length of the hemodiaysis experience, whether they had had a transfusion and whether there were any complications. 5) The factors influencing 'help from others' were found to be religion. economic situation, past experiences and whether family members lived together. 6) The factors influencing 'coping strategies' were foung to be age, level of education, experiences of illness and locus of control. 7) The factors influeruing 'maintenance of self-esteem' were found to be the length of the hemodialysis experience and self-actualization. 8) The factors influencing 'transitional life' were found to be age, religion, economic situation, employment status. locus of control. past experiences and whether there was a plan for a kidney transplant.
This study was conducted to examine differences in the relationship between experiential variables and outcome variables of experiential variables. In this regard, this research tries to construct the items based on past researches and to suggest the problems of the items of past researches. The analysis of various aspects of experiential variables and the validation tests of some models are presented to suggest what the optimal model is and the following suggestions can be made. First, respondents may not feel that the three dimensions of sensation, emotion, and cognition are significantly different. Depending on the respondents, there is a possibility that they may not be able to perceive much of the linguistic difference. The results of this study are summarized as follows. From this point of view, this study suggest that it would be suitable to proceed with the thesis with the experience of simplifying the combination of the five experiences in some combination. Second, there is a correlation between experiential variables, and the effect on outcome variables may vary from one variable to another. And, when there are two outcome variables, assuming a model that affects only the first outcome variable among the experience variables, it is the most suitable model in relation to the performance variable of experience.
The goal of this study is to take a look at grandmothers' experience raising children with a focus on the children's generation and the grandchildren's generation. To do this, we conducted in-depth interviews with three grandmothers who raised their children and their grandchildren. As a result, grandmothers' experience raising children was shown in three categories: change in the raising environment, the raising culture, and the sense of value of raising children. These results suggest that the raising experience of grandmothers who have raised children in the past and are currently raising children again are being changed by the transition in raising experience, raising culture, and sense of value of raising children.
In contemporary Korean society, urban community environment is often associated with high-density and high-rise residences that make people's relationships superficial, instrumental and impersonal. Furthermore, urban community consistently interplays with neighboring residents and childhood emotional experience are influential on their unconscious images and attitude about their current neighborhood environment, while affecting the environmental attitude and the formation of community sense. Previous research found evidences that increased level of community sense is fostering more feeling of living in so-called "real neighborhood environment." This study aimed to cross-culturally examine what the respondents' emotional perception and their attitude were about the community environment in their childhood through environmental autobiography method and to examine the effects of the results on adults' formation of sense of community for their current community environment. Extensive literature review explored a few important theoretical framework which are closely related to sense of community (SOC) as a result of emotional experience: membership, influence, integration and fulfillment of needs, shared emotional connection and community satisfaction. Chi-square and GLM analysis revealed that there were no demographic, and socio-economic differences between two groups of Korean and US residents. Correlation analysis indicated that childhood emotional experience of Koreans and US citizens was statistically significant on sense of community for their current living community. Multi-regression analysis also found that the degree of influence were the main predictors for building strong sense of current community throughout a cross-cultural group. Furthermore, the relationship between various emotional experience of each factor in previous and current community environment were statistically significantly related. It is concluded that as the positive childhood experience of influence in their past community was going up, the level of sense of community for their current community was strengthened across their cross-cultural background.
The Hsin-Chu Science-Based Industrial Park (HSIP), established in 1980, has made significant contribution to the development of Hsinchu technopolis. In the past three decades, not only the population structure and industrial patterns have changed significantly, but also a special knowledge-based industrial network has been developed. The 30 years experience of HSIP development provides an excellent opportunity for planners to review the long term impacts of science park development. This paper will review the evolution Hsinchu technopolis in areas of socioeconomic transformation and knowledge interactions between technology community and industrial clustering. In addition to the interpretation of its development by prevailing theories, critical factors influencing the future development of HSIP technopolis will also be discussed in this paper.
