무공해 승용 자동차의 냉방을 위한 전동식 냉방시스템 성능에 관한 연구 (Performance Characteristics of the Electrical Air Conditioning System for the Zero Emission Passenger Vehicle)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 친환경 무공해 승용 차량에 적용되는 전동식 냉방시스템의 성능특성을 실차에서 확인하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 인버터로 구동되는 전동식 스크롤 압축기를 적용한 전동식 냉방시스템을 설계 및 제작하여 수소 연료전지 자동차에 설치하여 다양한 주행도로 조건에서 실험을 진행하였다. 주행조건의 변화는 시험차량에 장착된 전동식 냉방시스템의 성능에 영향을 주었으며, 고속 및 일반도로 주행조건에서 냉방시스템의 성능이 정지조건에서 냉방시스템의 성능보다 우수하게 나타났다. 또한, 외기온도가 $20.0^{\circ}C$에서 $30.0^{\circ}C$로 증가함에 따라 고내 온도는 평균 $5.2^{\circ}C$ 더 적게 감소하였다.

반응시간과 선호도를 고려한 승용차 Warning Control 의 인간공학적 설계 (Ergonomic Design of Warning Control in Passenger Car Based on Response Time and Preference)

  • Warning control is one of the most important components in driver's cabin for achieving safe driving. The purpose of this study is to suggest ergonomically optimal location and type of passenger car's warning control. An experiment was conducted using driving simulator, in which nine locations and two types of warning controls -push button, rocker switch- were employed as experimental variables, and response time for warning signal and preference for locations and types of warning controls were measured as dependent variables. The results showed that response time for warning signal was the shortest when warning control was located at the middle left corner of the center fascia, and was the second at the middle center of the center fascia. Preference for warning signal was the highest at the middle left comer of the center fascia, and was the second between the steering wheel column and the center fascia. Although push button was not preferred to rocker switch, response time was shorter for push button than for rocker switch. It was suggested from these results that warning control with the type of push button should he located at among the middle left corner of the center fascia, the middle center of the center fascia, and between the steering wheel column and the center fascia.

여객 열차 화재의 수치해석을 위한 민감도 분석 (A Study on Sensitivity Analysis for Numerical Solution of Passenger Train Fire)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 화재 예측모델로 널리 사용되는 FDS(Fire Dynamics Simulation) ver. 4.07을 여객열차 화재예측에 적용하기 위하여 민감도 분석(Sensitivity analysis)을 수행하는 것이다. 주요 분석 변수(Parameter)는 격자 크기(Grid size)와 Solid angle number이다. 분석결과, 격자크기의 변화는 온도(Plume temperature 상부층 온도(Upper layer temperature), 연기층 높이(Layer height)결과 값에 약$10{\sim}20%$의 차이를 갖게 하는 주요 민감도 변수이며 Solid angle number는 민감도에 영향을 크게 미치지 않는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한, 0.05m의 Grid size가 0.1m보다 결과 해상도가 높은 것으로 나타났다.

고속 여객선 선미부 과대 진동/소음 감소를 위한 연구 (Study on Reduction of Excessive Noise and Vibration of Aft Part of High Speed Ro-Ro Passenger Ship)

  • In this study, the excessive noise and vibration phenomena of a high-speed Ro/Ro passenger ship were analyzed, and a countermeasure was taken based on them. This ship was granted a comfort class notation by the classification society, which was COMFORT-VIBRATION-II and COMFORT-NOISE-CREW-II. However, unfortunately, excessive noise and vibration in the aft part of the ship were delivered from the twin shaft propellers, and therefore the Class Requirement was not satisfied before delivery. In order to obtain the class notation, all of the concerned parties came to an agreement to reduce the noise and vibration level during operation after delivery because a seasonal ferry service was already scheduled and the cabin was fully booked. The root cause of the massive amount of noise and vibration was mainly the propeller-induced excitation pulse and beating that occurred from the mismatch of the rotating speeds of the two shaft lines. A 1st order vibrating force and beating phenomena existed in the propeller. Thus, a reduction of the excitation force, elimination of the beating phenomena, and decrease of the noise level at the aft area cabins and public spaces were required. In addition, structural reinforcements were conducted using pillars and additional girders at the aft part of the decks.

  • Purpose: As communicable disease, COVID-19, pandemic strikes over the world, it is critically bewared that air travel possibly be a major pass way to deliver the infectious disease virus. Especially the airplane could be an unique environment to cultivate the virus spreaders. In order to keep the continuous safe airway as well as the industry, related international associations and organizations have been published the guidelines for the prevention and control the infectious disease through the all aspects of aviation. By reviewing the guidelines, focusing on the in-flight infection prevention and control, this study would not only inform a summary of the international guidelines but also provide an essential and general consideration for related research or guideline study. Methods: Guidelines of 5 major countries are reviewed, which has been seriously influenced by COVID-19 : U.S., Canada, E.U., Australia and China. The items of the guidelines are re-categorized as its similarity and structure by applicable cases. Results: The result of this study shows that each guideline seems to share a major structure and issue such as identifying sick traveler, sick passenger care, and cleaning even though that of China has a different since it used to consider the flight conditions based on 3 levels of infection risk. For sick passenger care, the guidelines includes crew safety, service level, sick passenger isolation, and cleaning. Implications: A published guideline as a public manual could be to prevent and control the in-flight infection efficiently and promptly. It also could provide a confidence of knowledge and educate for all users to prepare the in-flight emergency as well.

승객 휴대 전자기기 사용에 대한 위해요인 식별 및 리스크 평가 (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment for the Use of Passenger Portable Electronic Devices)

  • 항공기의 엔터테인먼트 시스템은 고정된 모니터를 사용하는 대신에 승객 개인의 휴대용 전자기기를 사용하는 형태로 그 패러다임이 바뀌었다. 이로 인해 기내 설비는 간소해진 반면 휴대용 전자기기들의 전기 충전으로 안전에 대한 리스크는 증가되었다. 송신 기능이 없는 개인 휴대전자기기와 달리 와이파이 기능이 있는 전자기기(T-PED)의 사용이 허용되고 기내에서 배터리의 충전도 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 기내 무선 환경과 엔터테인먼트 서비스의 변화에 따른 영향을 조사하기 위해 NASA 항공안전보고시스템을 이용하여 기내 전자기기 사용 관련 자료를 분석하였다. 이를 기초로 하여, 항공기 안전관리 관점에서 비행 중에 발생된 객실 전자장비나 승객 휴대용 전자기기(특히 스마트폰)로 인한 이벤트 발생 사례를 공유하여 개인용 전자기기의 위험성을 분석하였다. 이러한 분석을 위해 잠재적 위해요인의 식별과 리스크 평가 작업이 수행되었으며, 최종적으로 휴대용 전자기기의 안전한 사용을 위한 리스크 완화 전략이 제시되었다.

  • "The guidelines on the management of indoor air quality of public transportation" was enacted in December 2006 due to the fact that the interest and demand of improving the air quality for citizen using public transportation have been increased. Thus this research has considered what has influenced on the passenger cabin HVAC as well as the improvement of customer service as we proceed the study for better indoor air quality inside of the train by developing the module of cleaning air system for pollutants of a car air.

  • Railroad car is one of major public transportation because of an increase in population and heavy traffic problems. We design the concept with air filtration of HVAC system using CFD, select environment-friendly components and compose intellectual HVAC system. For this object, the research to connect HVAC system which control temperature, humidity, air flow with pollutant controlling system which can deal with particular dust, nasty smell. In case of train, fresh air should be provided continuously for pleasant environment of the cabin every season. The air will control outer dust, inner particular dust, $CO_2$ density by air conditioning, heating, humidity regulating, air filtering and ventilating. Ventilation system on passenger cars should be designed for the health and comfort of the passengers.

기존선 터널 주행시의 고속열차 차체가 받는 압력변동 계측 및 분석 (Measurement and analysis of Pressure fluctuation by high speed train passing through tunnels in conventional line)

  • Pressure waves are generated when high speed train runs through the tunnels. These pressure waves not only affect passenger's health, but also can cause fatigue failures on the vehicle structure. The current high speed train should run on the conventional lines. In this study, pressure fluctuations by the high speed trains such as G7 Korea High Speed Train and Korea Train eXpress are measured in the cabin and the carbody surface when they pass through the tunnels. The measured results are analyzed and the related parameters are investigated.
