In this paper, orthogonal block designs for partial diallel crosses are proposed. These partial diallel crosses block designs for estimating general combining abilities are constructed by using $\alpha$-resolvable partially balanced incomplete block designs. Also, the efficiencies of the partial diallel crosses block designs obtained through this method are reported in table.

In this paper, a method based on group divisible designs is presented for constructing some partial diallel crosses. We discuss in detail a particular inbred line, i.e., p lines divided into two groups with p$_1$ lines and p$_2$ lines. These designs are obtained by regarding the number of lines as treatments. In specially we study and compare the efficiency factors of the constructed partial diallel crosses with or without repeated blocks.

본 연구에서는 부분이면교배에서 p개의 근교계통의 일반조합능력을 비교하기 위한 불완비 블록계획을 구성하는 방법을 제시한다. 부분이면 블록계획은 블록의 크기가 2 이면서 m개의 동반분류를 갖는 부분 균형 불완비 블록계획과균형 불완비 블록계획을 이용하여 구성한다. 또한, p $\leq$ 24일 때 이러한 방법으로 구성되는 블록계획의 효율성을 표로 제시한다.

This experiment was conducted to obtain basic information on breeding of flue-cured tabacco varieties . Nine cultivars and partial diallel set of 36 Fl hybrids were grown at Daegu Experiment Station, Korea Ginseng & Tobacco Research Institute in 1983. Partial dominance with high additive gene effect was observed for yield, leaves per plant , days to flower, leaf weight, nicotine and reducing sugar content. partial dominance with additive and dominant gene effect was observed for stalk height , leaf width midrib weight Overdominance with high dominant gene effect was observed for leaf length and midrib width. The directions of dominance were positive for yield, stalk height, leaf weight, leaf length, leaf width, midrib weight, midrib width and reducing sugar content, and the negative was days to flower. The estimates of effective genes were 1 for leaves per plant, 2 for stalk height, days to flower and leaf shape. 3 to 6 for leaf length, leaf width, leaf weight and midrib weight.

누에 이면교잡에 의해 F1세대의 견층 연감율, sericin량 및 fibroin량을 유전 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. Vr-Wr graph에서 자웅간의 견층 연감율은 모두 초우성이고, 자웅간의 sericin량과 fibroin량은 모두 불완전 우성이었다. 2. 각 형질에 대한 분산성분의 추정에서 자웅간의 sericin 량과 fibroin량 및 자의 연감율에서는 유전자의 상가적효과가 우성효과보다 큰 경향이었고, 웅의 연감율에서만 반응이 양상이었다. 3. 우성의 방향에 있어서는 자웅간의 sericin량과 fibroin량에서 모두 높은 방향으로, 자웅간의 연감율에서는 낮은 쪽이 우성이었다. 4. 조합능력은 3개 형질의 자웅 모두 유의적으로 작용하였고, 특정조합능력보다 일반조합능력이 크게 평가되었다.

수도의 7개품종과 이들 품종을 교배친으로 하여 9개형질에 대한 7$\times$7, 5$\times$5이면교잡의 경우에 $F_1$ 세대와 $F_2$세대에 따라서 각형질에 관여하는 유전자의 분포상태를 본바 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 출수일수, 수장, 수수, 지엽장, 천립중의 5개형질은 7$\times$7, 5$\times$5 이면교잡의 $F_1$세대에서 불완전우성을 나타내었다. 2. 간장, 지엽폭, 추출도는 $F_1$세대에서 초우성을 나타내었고 수중에 있어서는 $F_2$ 세대에서 초우성을 나타내었다. 3. 간장은 $F_1$ 세대에서는 초우성이었으나 $F_2$ 세대에서는 불완전우성으로 나타내었고 대체로 불완전우성을 나타낸 형질에 있어서도 교배조합에 따라서 교배친에 따라서 초우성을 나타낸 조합이 많으며, 특히 수중의 $F_2$ 세대에서 초우성을 나타낼 본실험의 결과는 수도의 다수품종 육성을 위하여는 교배조합의 결정이 매우 중요하고, 다수품종의 육성의 가능성을 말해주고 있는 것이 다.

In this experiment, gene actions were analysized for seven barley parents in order to obtain basic information on their genetic improvement by diallel crosses. The results obtained were summarized as follows. In analysis of variance, additive, dominant, maternal and reciprocal effects were observed significantly for culm length, tiller number, number of spiked per plant, culm diameter, awn length, leaf width, number of grains per spike, and 1000 grain weight. Over-dominance was shown by Vr-Wr graphic analysis in five characters such as tiller number, number of spikes per plant, length of flag leaf, number of grains per spike, and 1000 grain weight, and partial dominance in four characters such as culm length, culm diameter, awn length, and leaf width. Component of genetic varience analyzed for four characters such as culm diameter, awn length, length of flag leaf, and leaf width showed that additive effects were higher than dominant effects. Culm length, tiller number, number of spikes per plant, number of grains per spike, and 1000 grain weight showed dominant effects higher than additive effects. The narrow-sense heritability for awn length, leaf width, and number of grains per spike showed high values as more than 0.62, while broad-sense heritability for culm length, number of spikes per plant, culm diameter, awn length, leaf width, number of grains per spike, and 1000 grain weight showed high values as more than 0.65.

누에 품종 육성을 위한 기초자료를 얻기 위해 7개 품종을 이면교잡하여 얻은 F1, F2세대에 대한 유전자의 분포상태와 우성정도, 분산성분과 성분비 등을 분석한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. Vr-Wr graph는 F1세대에서 견장의 자, 단견중의 자웅, 견층 연감율의 자웅, 견사량이 모두 초우성이었다. 또 5령경과와 견층중, 견층비율의 각 자웅, 견사장 등은 불완전 우성으로 표현되었다. F2세대는 5령경과, 전령경과와 견장, 견폭, 단견중, 견층중, 견사량은 모두 불완전 우성으로 나타났다. 유전 분산성분에서 F1세대의 5령경과와 견폭, 견층중, 견층비율, Fibroin량의 각 자웅은 유전지의 상가적 효과가 우성 효과보다 크게 평가되었다. F2세대의 견촉, 견층중, 견층비율, fibroin량의 각 자웅도 상가적 효과가 우성 효과보다 크게 표현되었다.

가잠에 있어서 잡종세대의 우수한 계통을 생산할 수 있는 교배친의 선정과 교배친의 잡종세대의 유전 현상에 대한 기초 정보를 얻고자 7개 품종을 이면교잡하고 이를 F1세대에 대하여 유전자의 분포상태 및 우성 정도, 그리고 조합능력 등을 검정한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. Vr-Wr graph 및 분산성분에서 단견종은 우성효과가 큰 초우성으로, 단층종과 단층비율은 상가적 효과가 큰 불완전우성으로 각각 추정되었다. 2. 조합능력은 전형질에서 유의적으로 작용하였고 일반조합능력이 특정조합능력보다 크게 평가되었다. 3. 조합능력의 효과 중 GCA 효과는 잠 107이 전 형질에서 가장 높았고, SCA 효과는 잠 113$\times$ 중 14의 조합이, 잠 107$\times$중 14의 조합이 크게 평가되어 주로 중 14가 교배부체일 때에 조합능력이 컸었다.
