컵라면 용기의 종이컵 대체 (The substitution of paper cup for the PSP noodle cup)

  • After reported that Styrene dimer and Styrene trimer was Endocrine Disrupter, if it was a fact or not, the sales of PSP noodle cup was rapidly decreased and social responsibilities of the substitution materials development was raised. Therefore we had studied many materials like paper, pulp mold, PP injection molding, PP lamination, etc as substitution materials and selected paper cup which was safe in many sides and easy to recycle. Mainly we had checked the shape, safety, stability and recycling possibility of paper cup and secured many data which could prove them.

  • In this paper, We propose an Image processing algorithm for a paper-cup inner defect inspection. First, we devide a cup image to four sections considering the characteristic of a cup and filter noises limit by using the flood-fill algorithm and median filter. Second, to obtain the clearer inspection result of the edge point inner cup, We apply the sharpening convolution filer to the objected inspect the edge points by using the LOG edge detector. Third, executing sub-pixel operation with the orignal image, we find the defect parts in the cup. Finally, denoting the inspected defect parts as rectangular, we recompose the images of the defected ones.

탄두 충돌 시 기폭관 컵의 변형 해석 (Deformation of STS Cup for EFI Detonator in High Velocity Impact)

  • In this paper, we have investigated deformation of cup for EFI detonator in high velocity impact test. The experimental result shows that STS cup deformed 0.170 mm with the bulged shape. The numerical simulation result with static/dynamic material properties of SUS304 shows 0.166 mm of deformation. The main parameters to decrease the deformation of cup are stength, thickness and density of cup. The initial condition of SUS304 cup was strength of 215 MPa and thickness of 0.12 mm. As strength increases to 500 MPa, deformation of cup converges to 0 mm, and as thickness increases to 0.18 mm, deformation of cup converges to 0 mm. If the density of cup decreases from 8 to 2.7 g/cc, the deformation of cup decreases to 0.141 mm.

다품종 종이용기의 고속 생산을 위한 고장 진단 시스템 개발 (The Development of a Failure Diagnosis System for High-Speed Manufacturing of a Paper Cup-Forming Machine)

  • Recently, as demand for various paper containers has rapidly grown, it is inevitable that paper cup-forming machines have increased their manufacturing speed. However, the faster manufacturing speed naturally brings more frequent manufacturing failures, which decreases manufacturing efficiency. As such, it is necessary to develop a system that monitors the failures in real time and diagnoses the failure progress in advance. In this research, a paper cup-forming machine diagnosis system was developed. Three major failure targets, paper deviation, temperature failure, and abnormal vibration, which dominantly affect the manufacturing process when they occur, were monitored and diagnosed. To evaluate the developed diagnosis system, extensive experiments were performed with the actual data gathered from the paper cup-forming machine. Furthermore, the desired system validation was obtained. The proposed system is expected to anticipate and prevent serious promising failures in advance and lower the final defect rate considerably.

산류(Acids)의 인화점과 최소자연발화온도의 신뢰성 고찰 (Investigation of Reliability of Flash Points and Autoignition Temperatures of Acids)

  • The flash point and the AIT(auto-ignition temperature) are the most important combustible properties used to determine the potential for the fire and explosion hazards of flammable material. In order to know the accuracy of data in MSDS(Material Safety Data Sheet), the flash point of n-acids were measured by using Pensky-Martens closed cup tester(ASTM D93), Setaflash closed cup tester(ASTM D3278), Tag open cup tester(ASTM D1310) and Cleveland open cup tester(ASTM D92). Also, the AIT of n-acids were measured by using ASTM E659-78 tester. The measured the flash points and the AIT were compared with literatures and MSDS in KOSHA. The measured the flash points and the AIT were different from those in literatures and MSDS. Therefore, This paper shows that it is needed to investigate the MSDS compatibility of n-acids for the fire safety objectives.

폐종이컵을 이용한 이온교환체 제조와 중금속제거특성 (Preparation of ion exchanger from waste paper cup and removal characteristics of heavy metal)

  • Waste paper cup was sulfonated to be used as ion exchanger. Removal characteristic of copper and lead ion by prepared ion exchanger was investigated. The sulfonation was conformed by the high intensity band of $SO_3H$ group around 1100~$1160cm^{-1}$. The synthesized ion exchanger had greater removal ability for copper and lead ion than the original waste paper cup. Ion exchange system reached the final equilibrium plateau within 30min. The maximum removal capacities $q_{max}$ were calculated as 9.79mg/g fur copper and 15.95mg/g for lead, respectively. The affinity of lead based on a weight was higher than that of copper. The ion exchange phenomena appeared to follow a typical Freundlich isotherm.

봉지형차의 종이 손잡이가 찻물에 빠짐 방지용 컵 개발 (Development of the Cup Preventing the Paper Knob of a Tea Bag from Falling into Tea Water)

  • 본 연구는 봉지형차를 찻잔에 넣고 찻물을 부을 때 차봉지에 달린 실과 종이 손잡이가 찻물에 빠져 비위생적인 찻물이 되는 문제를 해결하기 위해서 기존 찻잔의 구조를 개선한 결과 다음과 같은 효과를 얻었다. 본 봉지형차류용 개량 찻잔은 기존 찻잔의 상단에 폭 약 $1{\sim}1.5\;mm$ 깊이 약 $44{\sim}5\;mm$인 수직 실 홈을 형성하고 이 실 홈에 종이 손잡이를 잡아 올린 다음 실을 실 홈에 끼워 종이손잡이를 젖혀놓고 찻물을 부으면 찻잔 속에서 찻물과 차봉지가 동요되어도 종이 손잡이가 찻물에 빠지지 않아 위생적일 뿐만 아니라 기존의 종이손잡이의 평균 넓이($2.35{\times}2.65\;cm$)와 기존 실 길이(14.3cm)를 각각 70% 정도 감소시킬 수 있어 자원을 절약하는 효과도 있었으며 음용하는데 있어서도 훨씬 간편하고 안전하게 이용할 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문에서 Interpolation Methods를 이용하여 보다 정화한 풍속을 계산하는 방법과 보다 정확한 풍향을 계산하기 위하여 Interpolation Polynomial을 찾는 방법을 제안하였고, 이렇게 제안된 방법을 이용하여 3-Cup Anemometer의 성능을 개선하였다. 우리는 풍향, 풍속의 관측을 위해 기구부는 3-cup Type Anemometer로, 전자부는 Photo Sensor를 이용하여 구현하였다. 정확한 풍속과 풍향의 측정을 위해서는 시스템의 메모리 한계 및 성능을 고려한 시스템 설계와 8비트 Gray Code Film으로 256(= 2$^{8}$ )개의 각도 Data로 360$^{\circ}$를 표현하는 방법이다.

크실렌 이성질체의 인화점과 최소자연발화온도의 측정 (Measurement of Flash Points and Autoignition Temperatures for Xylene Isomers)

  • MSDS 자료의 적정성을 고찰하기 위해 크실렌 이성질체에 대해 Pensky-Martens 밀폐식(ASTM D93), Setaflash 밀폐식(ASTM D3278), Tag 개방식(ASTM D1310), Cleveland 개방식(ASTM D92) 장치 등을 이용하여 인화점을 측정하였으며, 또한 최소자연발화온도는 ASTM E659-78장치를 사용하여 측정하고, 문헌값들과 한국산업안전보건공단의 MSDS 자료와 비교하였다. 그 결과, 측정된 인화점과 최소자연발화온도는 이들과 차이를 나타내어 안전의 목적을 위해 연소특성치 고찰이 필요함을 알 수 있었다.
