IPTV Services that is representative union service of broadcasting and telecommunication need guarantee of QoS, efficiency of multicasting, and hish bandwidth on the network. Because typical TDM based metro transport network was designed by transporting fixed voice traffic with stable and recovering method, it has a defect of bottleneck and a waste of bandwidth for acceptance of data traffic with burst feature and then all of data are treated equally at the transport network because it cannot classify between advanced high end service and best effort low end service. for completely resolving this kind of problem about increasing burst traffic and QoS issues, firstly we need to new design for transport network. This paper presents transformation method from TDM based metro transport network to packet based transport network and advantage and effectiveness of packet based transport network and also indicates technical factor and characters about method of packet transport system. As a result of research, the Packet Transport System, which is a transmission network for packet delivery, take in not only a specific character of legacy TDM but QoS, Multicast and high bandwidth, then, it is able to keep an effective bandwidth and a stabilized performance of packet transmissions. Additionally, if a fault be occurred on an optical link, the system is able to guarantee a differential QoS by an each service class using an algorithm to make certain of a traffic existence and contain a protective mechanism.

As a demand of IP based packet service is increasing, transport network is evolving from circuit based transport technology using TDM to Ethernet based packet transport technology. In this paper we introduce packet transport network based on PBB-TE and MPLS-TP and propose a quality of service(QoS) management scheme to satisfy various user requirements in packet transport network. The proposed flow-based QoS management scheme guarantees that per-flow bandwidth control satisfies the predefined QoS requirement perfectly under bandwidth congestion condition by using perflow and per-PTL tunnel management. In order to evaluate the proposed scheme we defined flow and PTL tunnel per input frame and configured QoS parameters for each flow and PTL tunnel respectively. Simulation was done by using OPNET modeler 16.0 version.

Broadband ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) networking techniques based on lightwave technology and high speed integrated circuits appear to be the choice of transport technology for broadband ISDN. Among other problems, the issue of video transport over broadband packet(ATM) networks still requries further investigation. In this paper, the problems of transporting video signals over a broaband packet network are investigated together with possible solutions. In particular, clock recovery packet loss compensation and transport technique based on hierarchical video coding scheme are described in detail. This would allow efficient bandwidth sharing and minimum degradation in video quality.
Multi-domain optical transport networks are not fundamentally interoperable and require an integrated orchestration mechanism and path provision mechanism at the entire network level. In addition, ensuring network survivability is one of the important issues. MPLS-TP (Multi-Protocol Label Switching-Transport Profile) defines various protection/recovery methods as standards, but does not mention how to calculate and select protection/recovery paths. Therefore, an algorithm that minimizes protection/recovery collisions at the optical circuit packet integrated network level and calculates and sets a path that can be rapidly protected/recovered over the entire integrated network area is required. In this paper, we proposed an algorithm that calculates and sets up a path that can be rapidly protected and restored in a T-SDN network composed of multiple ring-mesh topology.
We developed QoS based Optical Transport System for premium packet transport network.. Our system will reduce capital cost and operation cost. And also It generate QoS guaranteed L2 VPN service for enterprise. The key technologies are packet emulation for
Multicast protocols are efficient methods of group communication such as video conference, Internet broadcasting and On-Line Game, but they do not support the various transmission protocol services like a reliability guarantee, FTP, or Telnet that TCPs do. The Purpose or this Paper is to find a method to utilize multicast routers can simultaneously transport multicast packets and TCP packets. For multicast network scalability and error recovery the existing SRM(Scalable Reliable Multicast)method has been used. Three packets per TCP transmission control window site are used for transport and an ACK is used for flow control. A CBR(Constant Bit Rate) and a SRM is used for UDP traffic control. Divided on whether a UDP multicast packet and TCP unicast packet is used simultaneously or only a UDP multicast packet transport is used, the multicast receiver with the longest delay is measured on the number of packets and its data receiving rate. It can be seen that the UDP packet and the TCP's IP packet can be simultaneously used in a server router.

In wireless network environments, wireless channels are characterized by time-varying fading and interference conditions, which may lead to burst packet corruptions and delay variation. This can cause severe quality degradation of streaming media. To guarantee successful transmission of media over the hostile wireless networks, where channel conditions are highly fluctuating, a flexible and network-adaptive transport method is required. Thus, we propose a network-adaptive transport error control consisting of packet-level interleaved FEC and delay-constrained ARQ, which acts as an application-level transport method of streaming media to alleviate burst packet losses while adapting to the changing channel condition in wireless networks. The performances of the proposed network-adaptive transport error control, general error control schemes, and hybrid schemes are evaluated by a developed simulator at the transport-level and video quality of streaming media. Simulation results show that the proposed mechanism provides the best overall performance among compared other schemes in terms of the transport-level performance of error control and the performance of video quality for streaming media.

RTP that is proposed supplement of real-time services on internet environment, as Real-time Transport Protocol, is the protocol that for the purpose of sending data of stream type. RTP and RTCP(Real-time Transport Control Protocol) basically work at the same time, RTCP serves with state information of network at present. RTP has important properties of a transport protocol that runs on end-to-end systems and provides demultiplexing. It also offer reliability and protocol-defined flow/congestion control that transport protocol like TCP can not provides. In this paper, we look around concept and construction of Differentiated sen1ice tint run on RTP and by setting parameters of packet transfer method be used CBQ(Class-Based Queuing) for packet transfer on Differentiated service, each service queue controls properly through packet scheduling method, such as WRR(Weighted Round Robin) and PRR(Packet-by-packet Round Robin) all service classes do not experience the starvation and confirm the performance through computer simulation to achieve fairly scheduling.
Increase of data traffic and the advent of new real-time services require to change from the traditional TDM-based (Time Division Multiplexing) networks to the optical networks that soft and dynamic configuration. Voice and lease line services are main service area of the traditional TDM-based networks. This optical network became main infrastructure that offer many channel that can convey data, video, and voice. To provide high resilience against failures, Packet-optical networks must have an ability to maintain an acceptable level of service during network failures. Fast and resource optimized lightpath restoration strategies are urgent requirements for the near future Packet-optical networks with a Generalized Multi-Protocol Label Switching(GMPLS) control plane. The goal of this paper is to provide packet-optical network with a hierarchical multi-layer recovery in order to fast and coordinated restoration in packet-optical network/GMPLS, focusing on new implementation information. The proposed schemes do not need an extension of optical network signaling (routing) protocols for support.
The conventional transport layer protocol TCP is designed to work under condition of packet loss is due to the network congestion, so that it's suitable in the traditional wired network with fixed hosts but it's inefficient on the wireless network where the environment of fading, noise, and transmission error comes from interference. This result from the needless transmission control of the bit error is due to treats the packet loss as a packet congestion control in the wireless network. In this paper, we propose the advanced SNOOP protocol with the consecutive packet loss and TCP window control to avoid the needless congestion management algorithm in wireless network for the wireless TCP packet transmission enhancement. We verify the performance of the advanced module from the simulation experiment result.
