In this work, a compact patch antenna based on a low temperature cofired ceramic (LTCC) has been presented for V-band system-on-package (SoP) applications. In order to integrate it with transceiver block, a waveguide (W/G) to embedded microstrip line (eMSL) vertical transition was designed using slot-fed double stacked patch antennas for easy assembly and wide bandwidth. The $2{\times}2$ patch antenna integrating the transition was designed and fabricated in the 5-layer LTCC dielectrics. The whole size of the fabricated antenna including the $2{\times}2$ patches, transition and W/G was $20{\times}24{\times}5.39mm^3$. The fabricated antenna has achieved a 10 dB impedance bandwidth of 2.45 GHz from 61 to 63.45 GHz.

This paper presents an innovative prototype of a new conceptual electromagnetic induction eddy current based fluid heating appliance using voltage-fed quasi resonant zero voltage soft switching PWM high-frequency inverter using IGBTs, which can operate at a constant frequency variable power regulation scheme. The promising simple high efficient low noise inverter type electromagnetic induction eddy current based pipeline fluid heating appliance is proposed for saturated steam generator, superheated steam generator, hot water and hot air producer, metal catalyst heating for exhaust gas cleaning in engine. Under these technological backgrounds, a novel electromagnetic induction eddy current Dual Packs Heater(DPH) based pipeline fluid heating incorporates thin metal layer type package for continuous fluid heating appliances applying two types of voltage-fed quasi load resonant ZVS-PWM high frequency inverter. The unique features of a novel electromagnetic induction eddy current DPH based continuous pipeline fluid heating appliance is illustrated on the basis of simulation and discussed for the steady state operating characteristics and experimental results.

The measured pulse shapes provided in the given data package demonstrated pulse distortions due to laser speckle. the distorted pulse shapes were carefully analyzed, modeled, and then applied to the DTTL(Digital-data Transition Tracking Loop)[1] bit synchronizer simulator to measure the mean time delay and its delay variation performance. The result showed that the maximum mean time delay variation with the modeled data was 12.5% when window size equals 1. All the data given were located within this modeled boundary and the maximum eman time delay variation was 7% in this case. The mean time delay variation was known to be smaller by reducing the window size [2][5][6]. The mitigated delay variation was 2.5% in the modeled case and 1.4% in the data set given when the windown size equals 0.1. With the digital DTTL insteal of analog DTTL, similar results was obtained.

본고에서는 소형 고집적 이동단말기용 패키지를 위해 구현 되고 있는 능/수동소자 내장형 패키지 기술에 대해 알아보고자 한다. 능/수동소자내장형 패키지 기술은 IC 칩과 같은 능동 소자와 저항, 커패시터, 인덕터와 같은 수동소자 부품들을 패키지 기판 내부에 내장시켜 소형화를 추구함과 더불어 칩과 수동소자간의 접속 길이를 짧게 해서 전기적 성능을 향상시키실 수 있는 패키징 기술이다. 본 원고에서는 PCB기술에 기반을 둔 embedded active device 기술과 웨이퍼 레벨 패키징 기술에 기반을 둔 fan-out embedded wafer level package 기술 동향에 대해 서술하고 그 특정들을 비교 분석하였으며 이 기술들에 대환 동향을 살펴보고자 한다.

This study is intended for international cooperation in the field of LED were analyzed. The results, LED wide coverage areas, and a promising future is expected to grow fast enough to occupancy for a major national technology is a competitive situation. Chip Scale Package, including our country, such as LED manufacturing technology that might be competitive in parts, but new technologies such as renal substrate R&D and technology development still active preemption is not the situation. Renal substrate, particularly, large-diameter sapphire, large size/large LED manufacturers, such as a promising area for future research and development support will be needed. To do this, previous research in this area and the U.S., Japan cooperation in such studies also will need to expand. Bibliometrics way through this study, analytical techniques and analytical tools used in the integrated analysis of the usefulness and necessity of the system development were found.

The purpose of this study was to develop the community programs of multihousing in Korea through evaluating and analyzing the actual conditions of community in multihousing in U.S.A. This study was conducted by using a field survey and questionaire at the 2 multihousing complexes located in the City of Blacksburg, Virginia, U.S.A. The major findings were as follows: 1) There was a variety of community programs and facilities, such as a monthly newsletter which allowed information to be exchanged among all residents. The programs also provided news on events for the children, teenagers, college students, adults and seniors. These events were held at the club house or pond area. 2) The average degree of satisfaction of these programs and facilities was high. 3) Korea need to follow the example of the U.S.A by i) providing a monthly newsletter periodically to exchange information ii) offering a variety of community programs iii) providing programs regarding district bureau of public administration, kindergarten service, telecommunications office and holding service for package, registered mail, drycleaning, etc.

The purpose of this study was to characterize the attitudes of Net generation customers toward purchasing fashion products or apparels through Cyber communication media. This study targeted 333 individuals aged from 14 to 24 purchasing fashion apparels through the Interned or PC communication. The data were analyzed by using frequency analysis, factor analysis, t-test, ANOVA by SASS package. The results of this study are as follows : 1. Fashion life-style of Net generation is classified into four groups - Fashion attached type, Web entertainment type, Web information type, Web media purchasing type. Net-Generation shows a little preference for brand. 2. As a result of the statistical analysis of each group's demographic variables, price is not so important when purchasing and according to the analysis of age, it proves that twenties are trendier than teenagers. 3. The most significant factor of information search is watching others' clothes and the most popular place for purchase is wholesale mall. Net-Generation has a little intention to purchase through Cyber communication media.

This paper discuss basic functional construction and plant layout of a ELV dismantling system that can maximize the reusability of tarts and the recoverability of materials by dismantling ELV rationally and efficiently. "Island" type was selected for the system configuration considering processing amount, economical efficiency, and effectiveness. The system is supported by the information system, and composed of dismantling stations and handling equipments. The layout of the stations was determined after simulation and optimization using commercial software package, Arena and OptQuest. The objective of the optimization was maximum profit while the system capacity is considered as constraint. The environmental load of ELV can be minimized when the composition and function of each station are embodied in detail and the system is interfaced with shredding operation.

This paper presents a database approach to integrating the structural analysis and design processes for a typical shear wall apartment building design. Our initial efforts have focused on extracting various graphic information from CAD(AutoCAD™) systems. But now, we concentrate our research efforts on organizing specific information generated during the structural analysis and design processes. The proposed overall system consists of a conventional structural analysis package, a conventional CAD system, and different application interface programs. This system is based on an engineering database which is developed by using an object-oriented data modelling approach. The system is actually implemented on an ORACLE™-based relational database management system.

Industrial society has changed to information society in these day. Even through the core issue of information society is the creation of competency and profit of corporations, the implementation of SCM packages is not popular. The reason why companies hesitate to introduce SCM packages is that the performance enhancement by the implementation of SCM is not clear. This paper addresses the effect of financial performance according to IT the implementation of SCM packages. Eight financial performance measures were selected based on the literature review. Financial data on the fifteen companies that implemented SCM packages before December, 2003 were collected considering the differences on performance measures between before and after the SCM implementation.
