Dynamic Programming Matching(DPM)은 순차적으로 구성된 문제를 수학적으로 최적화 시키는 기술로서 패턴인식 분야에서 다년간 중요한 역할을 해왔다. 서명인식을 위한 대부분의 실제적 적용에서는 Sakoe and Chiba [9]의 실제구현 버전이 기반이 되어 왔는데, 일반적으로 slope constraint p = 0의 방법이 적용되어 왔다. 이 논문에서는 이 경우에는 전진탐색에 의한 휴리스틱한 방법을 적용한 MDPM이 상당한 처리 시간의 단축 뿐만 아니라 약간의 인식능력 향상을 가질 수 있음을 보여준다.

Let H be a Hilbert space which is the direct sum of five closed subspaces $X_0,\;X_1,\;X_2,\;X_3$ and $X_4$ with $X_1,\;X_2,\;X_3$ of finite dimension. Let J be a $C^{1,1}$ functional defined on H with J(0) = 0. We show the existence of at least four nontrivial critical points when the sublevels of J (the torus with three holes and sphere) link and the functional J satisfies sup-inf variational inequality on the linking subspaces, and the functional J satisfies $(P.S.)^*_c$ condition and $f|X_0{\otimes}X_4$ has no critical point with level c. For the proof of main theorem we use the nonsmooth version of the classical deformation lemma and the limit relative category theory.

This study was an attempt to present an appropriate way of interpreting L2 learners' linguistic behavior within Universal Grammar (UG) framework. Based on the Korean EFL adult learners' performance on the Subjacency violation sentences, the study suggested that the EFL learners are able to acquire subtle knowledge of target grammar and their linguistic behavior should be interpreted with the most recent version of UG theory, the Minimalist Program (MP) notion. The MP notion seems more plausible to accommodate incomplete L2 grammar while acknowledging UG-constrained interlanguage which the previous version, Principles and Parameters (P&P) approach, could not explain very well. The study observed no age-effects among the Korean EFL learners in their linguistic competence measured by the performance on the UG-constraint violation sentences. Having suggested that the MP notion can be a more reasonable tool to explain the EFL learners' linguistic behavior, the study introduced comprehensive hypotheses such as Constructionist Model (CM) and the Ontogeny Phylogeny Model (OPM).

This paper presents a comparative evaluation of a modified version (A-Protocol) of the Distributed-Queueing Request Update Multiple Access (DQRUMA)Multi-Code Code Division Multiple Access (MC-CDMA) protocol and an enhanced version (P-Protocol) of the DQRUMA/MC-CDMA protocol with a lattice pool for request accesses (LPRA) scheme in a packet-based voice traffic environment. Analytical results agree with the simulation ones and show that the P-Protocol outperforms the A-Protocol in terms of the packet loss rate for voice traffic.

The purpose of this study was to compare the quality of life (QOL) between breast cancer patients with lymphedema and without using the SF-36 (Korean version). Fifty-three consecutive, unselected patients who underwent treatment for breast cancer patients with lymphedema and 37 patients without lymphedema from August 4, 2004 to October 13, 2005 were interviewed and asked to complete the SF-36. These data were used to test the hypothesis that breast cancer patients with lymphedema experience impaired quality of life relative to their control group. The lymphedema group scored poorer than the control group on six of the eight subscales as well as the physical component summary scale of the SF-36 (p<.05). Only bodily pain didn't show statistical difference (p>.05). Breast cancer patients with lymphedema appear to experience problems in multiple quality of life domains compared with without lymphedema group. These findings demonstrate the need for interventions to improve the quality of life in breast cancer patients with lymphedema.

선형탄성이론을 기초로 한 구조해석의 경우 사용하중상태에서의 변형과 응력은 만족할 만한 결과를 나타내지만, 항복후의 처짐과 파괴시의 극한하중 산정의 정확한 해석이 불가능하다. 평판의 극한해석시, 상한계 이론을 바탕으로 한 항복선 이론이 널리 사용되고 있으나 이론적으로 평판의 강도를 과대평가하게 된다. 그러므로, 임의의 하중조건과 경계조건에 대한 비선형 거동과 극한내하력을 산정할 수 있는 해석기법이 필요하다. 평판의 정확한 극한하중을 위해 p-Version 유한요소법을 제안하며, p-Version의 해석치를 범용 구조해석 프로그램인 ADINA의 결과와 문헌의 이론치와 비교하였다.

Objective: To compare the diagnostic performance between Prostate Imaging-Reporting and Data System version 2.0 (PI-RADSv2.0) and version 2.1 (PI-RADSv2.1) for clinically significant prostate cancer (csPCa) in the peripheral zone (PZ). Materials and Methods: This retrospective study included 317 patients who underwent multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging and targeted biopsy for PZ lesions. Definition of csPCa was International Society of Urologic Pathology grade ≥ 2 cancer. Area under the curve (AUC), sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), negative predictive value (NPV), and accuracy for csPCa were analyzed by two readers. The cancer detection rate (CDR) for csPCa was investigated according to the PI-RADS categories. Results: AUC of PI-RADSv2.1 (0.856 and 0.858 for reader 1 and 2 respectively) was higher than that of PI-RADSv2.0 (0.795 and 0.747 for reader 1 and 2 respectively) (both p < 0.001). Sensitivity, specificity, PPV, NPV, and accuracy for PI-RADSv2.0 vs. PI-RADSv2.1 were 93.2% vs. 88.3% (p = 0.023), 52.8% vs. 76.6% (p < 0.001), 48.7% vs. 64.5% (p < 0.001), 94.2% vs. 93.2% (p = 0.504), and 65.9% vs. 80.4% (p < 0.001) for reader 1, and 96.1% vs. 92.2% (p = 0.046), 34.1% vs. 72.4% (p < 0.001), 41.3% vs. 61.7% (p < 0.001), 94.8% vs. 95.1% (p = 0.869), and 54.3% vs. 78.9% (p < 0.001) for reader 2, respectively. CDRs of PI-RADS categories 1-2, 3, 4, and 5 for PI-RADSv2.0 vs. PI-RADSv2.1 were 5.9% vs. 5.9%, 5.8% vs. 12.5%, 39.8% vs. 56.2%, and 88.9% vs. 88.9% for reader 1; and 4.5% vs. 4.1%, 6.1% vs. 11.1%, 32.5% vs. 53.4%, and 85.0% vs. 86.8% for reader 2, respectively. Conclusion: Our data demonstrated improved AUC, specificity, PPV, accuracy, and CDRs of category 3 or 4 of PI-RADSv2.1, but decreased sensitivity, compared with PI-RADSv2.0, for csPCa in PZ.

Chen and Piccinni [7] have classified all compact surfaces in a Euclidean space $R^{2＋p}$ with 1-type generalized Gauss map. Being motivated by this result, the purpose of this paper is to consider the Lorentz version of the classification theorem and to obtain a complete classification of space-like surfaces in indefinite Euclidean space $R_{p}$ $^{2＋p}$ with 1-type generalized Gauss map.p.

The main purpose of this paper is to present closed integral form expressions for the Mathieu-type a-series and its associated alternating version whose terms contain a (p, q)-extended Gauss' hypergeometric function. Certain upper bounds for the two series are also given.

In this study, We have applied the right operator k-Riemann-Liouville is involving two orders α and β with a positive parameter p > 0, further, the left operator k-Riemann-Liouville is used with the negative parameter p < 0 to introduce a new version related to Hardy-type inequalities. These inequalities are given and reversed for the cases 0 < p < 1 and p < 0. We then improved and generalized various consequences in the framework of Hardy-type fractional integral inequalities.
