THM(trihalomethane)제거(除去) 대책(對策)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (A Study on the Removal of THM(trihalomethane))

  • An experimental study was conducted to investigate the effects of chlorine dioxide and ozone on reduction of THM(trihalomethane) formation. Precursor concentration, chlorine concentration, reaction time, pH, and temperature were governing compornents of THM formation. When other conditions are constant, THM formation increased linearly with precursor concentration increased. THM formation increased when pH increased from 5 to 9. In combined treatment with chlorine and chlorine dioxide, chlorine treatment after chlorine dioxide treatment made less THM than any other case does. Ozonation reduced THMFP(THM formation potential) of THM precursor. THMFP decreased exponentially with reaction time increased. Also biodegradability of humic acid was enhanced by ozonation.

자기회귀오차모형을 이용한 평택시 PM10 농도 분석 (Analysis of PM10 Concentration using Auto-Regressive Error Model at Pyeongtaek City in Korea)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the monthly and seasonal PM10 data using the Autoregressive Error (ARE) model at the southern part of the Gyeonggi-Do, Pyeongtaek monitoring site in Korea. In the ARE model, six meteorological variables and four pollution variables are used as the explanatory variables. The six meteorological variables are daily maximum temperature, wind speed, amount of cloud, relative humidity, rainfall, and global radiation. The four air pollution variables are sulfur dioxide ($SO_2$), nitrogen dioxide ($NO_2$), carbon monoxide (CO), and ozone ($O_3$). The result shows that monthly ARE models explained about 17~49% of the PM10 concentration. However, the ARE model could be improved if we add the more explanatory variables in the model.

  • 과학관측 로케트 KSR-420S에 탑재하는 원격측정 시스템은 로케트가 비행중에 갖게되는 응력분포, 온도분포, 속도, 가속도, 압력,자세 등의 제반특성 및 각종 회로동작 상태에 관한 정보, 오존, 이온, X-선 등의 과학연구용 관측 데이타를 취득하여 지상국으로 전송한다. 본 연구에서는 KSR-420S에 탑재된 PCM/FM 원격측정 시스템에 대해서 기술하였다.

  • Phase intergrowth in BSCCO thin films have been investigated. It turned out from XRD analyses of these phases that molar fraction of each constituent phase in the intergrowth thin film can be exhibited as a function of substrate temperature and ozone pressure. Superconducting behavior of the intergrowth thin film is also discussed.

  • Phase intergrowth some kinds of the $Bi_2Sr_2Ca_{n-1}Cu_nO_y$ phases is observed in the thin film fabrication at ultralow co-deposition with multi targets by means of ion beam sputtering. The molar fraction of the Bi2212 phase in the mixed crystal of the grown films is investigated as a function of the applied ozone pressure and the substrate temperature. The activation energy for the phase transformation from the Bi2201 to the Bi2212 is estimated in terms of the Avrami equation. This study reveals that the formation of a liquid phase contributes significantly to the construction of the Bi2212 phase in the thin films, differing from the bulk synthesis.

  • The environmental controls for good conservation of all textile materials are follow as :1) Special RH conditions on textiles keep to the usually advocated 50∼55%.2) The effect of the temperature is too small to worry about in the applicable range, that is $20^{\circ}C$.3) It is important to keep soiling by air borne dirt to a minimum by an air filter or putting textiles in cases.4) Sulphur dioxide must be rekoved by an activated carbon filter or a water spray. And this concentration below $50\muGm^3$ can be regarded assatisfactory.5) Oxygen plays a part of deterioration proceses. The effect of nitrogend andinert gases in sealed show cases should be further studied.6) Ozone is detrimental to textiles. It can be removed by activated carbonfilter.7) The removal of UV radiation and blue light can be expected to increase the lifetime of dyeing and strength of fiber.50 lux is suggested for sensitive textile materials.

  • BSCCO 박막은 다양한 기판온도와 산화 가스압에 변화에서 증발법에 의해 제작되었다. 박막조성을 Bi2212 또는 Bi2223으로 설정했음에도 불구하고, 어느 경우나 Bi2201, Bi2212 및 Bi2223상이 생성되었다. 이들 안정상의 생성 영역은 기판 온도-산화 가스압의 Arrhenius 플롯에서 우측 하단 방향으로 경사진 직선으로 표시되며 매우 좁은 영역에 분포되어 있다. 생성막의 XRD 피크는 기판 온도에 따라 연속적으로 변화했다. 이는 Bi2201, Bi2212, Bi2223의 각상이 결정 구조 내에 혼합되어 있는 혼합 결정계의 존재를 나타내고 있으며, 각 상의 단상막은 매우 좁은 온도, 가스압 범위에서만 생성되었다.

오존에 대한 신갈나무 잎의 순광합성능의 반응 (Responses in Net Photosynthetic Rate of Quercus mongolica Leaves to Ozone)

  • Net photosynthetic rate (Pn) of Quercus mongolica leaves was determined under the controlled O₃concentrations of 0, 20, 30, 40, 50 or 60 ppb at every 10 min for 7 hr. Under the fumigation of the different O₃concentrations the relative net photosynthetic rate (RNPR) of the leaves decreased rapidly until 1 hr and thereafter decreased slowly. At below 20 ppb O₃the decrease of the RNPR was scarce but at above 20 ppb O₃the RNPR was inversely proportional to O₃concentration on a logarithmic curve. The RNPR at 60 ppb O₃, for example, was reduced 30% less than that without O₃. Under the different O₃concentrations fumigated for the short period of time the Pn dependent upon PPFD was depicted as saturation equation and Pn dependent upon temperature as quadratic equation. Results of this study suggest that short-term low O₃of less than 60 ppb concentration may lead to reductions of Pn in Q. mongolica leaves.

  • Non-thermal plasma techniques is applied in many fields. Recently acid rain, global warming, ozone depletion, and smog are preeminent environmental problems. The cause for this environmental problems is the flue gas. Non-thermal plasma techniques has an attention for the solution of flue gas. Non-thermal plasma is used for the removal of flue gas composed of NOx, etc. This field has grown dramatically. This experiment is performed by using cylinder type reactor under the condition of room temperature and atmosphere pressure. NO gas is used instead of flue gas. Bidirectional pulse generator is used instead of the unidirectional pulse generator to increase the efficiency.
