Currently, small business owners are facing a situation where it is difficult to run their business in the existing way due to the spread of digital technology and the prolonged COVID-19. As a necessary competency for them, this study focused on digital literacy and examined the relationship between digital literacy and individual and market characteristics, business performance of small business owners. The specific research purpose is to examine the effect of entrepreneurial characteristics, which are individual factors, and market characteristics, which are environmental factors, on business performance and the mediating effect of digital literacy. In previous studies, various factors explaining the business performance of small business owners were reviewed, and innovation and self-determination, which are entrepreneurial characteristics of small business owners, and market competition and growth were derived as independent variables, and financial and non-financial performance were set as dependent variables. The hypothesis was established as digital literacy was expected to play a role in mediating the relationship between independent and dependent variables. For empirical research, a survey was conducted on small business owners across the country, and the analysis results are summarized as follows. It was found that the innovation and self-determination of small business owners had a positive (+) significant effect on financial and non-financial performance. In addition, it was confirmed that the degree of competition in the market had no significant effect on financial and non-financial performance, and that the growth of the market had a significant positive (+) effect on financial and non-financial performance. In the case of the mediating effect of digital literacy, it was confirmed that innovation had a partial mediating effect on non-financial performance, and digital literacy had a complete mediating effect on the effect of market competition on financial and non-financial performance. Finally, it was confirmed that digital literacy has a partial mediating effect on the effect of market growth on non-financial performance. Looking at the results, it can be seen that the entrepreneurial characteristics of small business owners, which correspond to innovation and self-determination, directly act as a factor to increase business performance, and market characteristics indirectly increase digital literacy to achieve results. Based on the above research results, the implications and limitations of the study and future research directions were presented together.
This study was conducted from the time when discussion of improvement and keeping heavy taxation on multiple home owners was began, experts who may express professional opinion such as realtors, tax accountants and revenue officers were picked up besides the direct interested parties such as single and multiple home owners. This study collected their various opinions regarding whether keeping the heavy taxation system on multiple home owners or not and the effect of it. As a result of the survey, people living in Seoul who owned more houses showed higher awareness about heavy taxation on multiple home owners, and people agreed more about abolishing the heavy taxation when they own more homes. From this study, it was found out that different recognition about heavier transfer income tax on multiple home owners of each person concerned and necessity of rearranging this uncertain condition of temporary regulation in the future. The tax law should be improved to supply clear policy signals to the market for recovery of housing transactions and supply expansion of jeonsei to monthly rental housing and managing of taxation policy which reflects taxpayers' opinion may correspond to more effective and fair taxation principle.
It is a generalized way for the chartering business to fix the laytime bars except rarely adapting the customary despatch of the cargo work in port. The way of customary despatch is usually accepted by the owners in case the port facilities and other relevant infrastructures are in the satisfactory level for the cargo work whereas the laytime bars to be widely incorporated in the chaterparty for almost all occasions for owners and charterers to bind each other in loading and discharging cargo in port. The main purpose of establishing laytime bars on the charterparty is to secure the right and duty for both parties of the owners and the charterers, and furthermore to make the vessel despatched quickly from the port, whereby the costs incidental to the loading and discharging in port to be saved as much as possible. and the minimized costs in port will contribute to the profits in all parties involved in loading and discharging cargo. The conditions and terms on the laytime bars are expressed variously in their kinds according to the types of the charterparty to be used. The owners and charterers or the ship operators, however, seems not to be so accustomed in lawful understanding on these terms and conditions, and therefrom lots of disputes are noticed practically in the business field. As a result, this study is focused to render the owners and charterers rather clear understanding on their meanings and effects in legal aspects, and the various English Law Cases are referred in order to achieve the purpose of this study.

Owners' efforts to acquire Green building certification, which started in 2002, have been rapidly increasing since 2006. The causes of the increased owners' interests are due to various incentives, legal obligation, and purpose of advertising. As project owners generally are deficient in capabilities and knowledge on how to deal with administrative works on certification, they tend to fulfill the minimum requirements for certification. However, effective administration process need capabilities of identifying individual making decision point and review information. The implementation of green building certification system is expected to provide comfort to both occupants and potential users. Furthermore it contributes to reducing energy costs throughout the phase of O&M. In addition, technology innovation in green industry can be obtained. Therefore, this study is intended to support owners in order that they can clarify certification tasks and make a rational decision-making in time. For this purpose, first of all, the major decision points were selected as the gateways of green building certification process. And then management system based on IDEF3 modeling was developed for supporting owners' decision-making performance. This management system will improve owners' overall capacity in handling all the tasks regarding the certification of Green building.
The main purpose of tramp ships in shipping markets is to produce operation profits by minimizing the running days in a contract of the voyage charterparty. It is an especially difficult task for the owners to earn operation profits in the present recessional shipping market. Tramp ships are moving towards globalization in order to look for a variety of cargoes, which are distinguished from the liners operating regularly as per the fixed time schedule. Tramp shipping, therefore, requires special attention every voyage to secure operation efficiency which comes from minimized sea and laytime in port. The laytime is allowed by owners but if the charterers use more laytime than that which is incorporated in the charterparty, then a compensation known as 'demurrage' must be paid to owners. Conversely if the time is shorter this is called 'despatch' and in this case the owners are paid. As the laytime issue in the voyage charter is somewhat delicate, it often causes much disputes between charterers and owners during the cargo handling in ports. This study focuses on the charterers' right and duty on the laytime which is usually applied for the benefit of the charterers. Reference is also made to English law cases to reinforce this study and the conclusion will make relevant suggestions for further research.

Construction schedule plays a key role in project management due to its influence on the project success. Thus, it is important to identify factors affecting construction delay. The major objective of this study is to identify and evaluate factors affecting construction delay in apartment projects in Vietnam. The findings confirmed that financial difficulties of owners and contractors, contractors without adequate experience, non-available materials on time, slow site clearance, inappropriate construction methods, defective works and reworks, and lack of capable owners/project managers are the major causes of delay in apartment projects.
The study is focused on comparing the perception of forest investment by two types of forest owners, ordinary forest owners (OFOs) and forestry successors and model forest owners(FSMFOs). The results show that FSMFOs' perception of forest investment is relatively high compared with OFOs' perception. The details are as follows; 1. In the general status, the education and income levels of FSMFOs are higher than those of OFOs, and FSMFOs are engaged in various kinds of jobs while OFOs are inclined to lean toward farming. 2. Of the motives to own forests, partial-purchase and -inheritance is the most of FSMFOs(41.2%) and inheritance the most of OFOs(40.9%) 3. The number of FSMFOs who had made forest investment and applied government support is more than that of OFOs. 4. FSMFOs know government support better than OFOs do, while both show lukewarmness on weather the support is carried out according to the rules.

There are a variety of alternative products in the computer markets. A tablet PC, which is a small type of computer, is expanding its market share as an independent type of computer products. The purpose of this study is to find out what the factors are that led to the success of the tablet PC. A research study was carried out on the intention to use of tablet PCs by consumers. The factors that affect the intention to use of tablet PCs users were structured on the basis of attitude theory. According to the one-dimensional theory of attitude, cognitive factors affect the affective factors, which in turn affect conative factors. In the study, the relations between each dimension were set up. The hypothesis was tested by structural equation modeling. The test results are as follows. First, the values and satisfaction that the owners of tablet PCs feel from the products and the positive comments on the products from their nearby acquaintances affect in a positive way how much they like their products. Second, the products surrounding the tablet PCs did not affect the intention to use of the products. Third, the product favorability that the owners of tablet PCs feel affects the intention to use in a meaningful way. The results of the research also show that hi-tech products such as tablet PCs affect their attitude after they buy and use the products. This attitude affects intention to use of the products. The managers of companies that produce hi-tech products should consider the cognitive and affective aspects of the product owners when manufacturing and marketing products.
The purpose of this study aims to explore scope of damages resulted from early redelivery under time charter with the Golden Victory case. In this case, disputes arose in relation to the quantum of damages recoverable by th owners. The owners contended that the second Gulf War was irrelevant to their claim, which was to be assessed at the difference between the charter rate and the lower market rate for the whole of the remaining four-year period of the charterparty. The charterers contended that since clause 33 would have entitled them to cancel the charter on the outbreak of the second Gulf War, two years after the repudiation, the owners' claim for damages only ran for those two years. There was no such rule as was contended for by the owners, and that the damages had to reflect the fact that, had there been no repudiatory breach, the charterparty would not have run its full term because the charterers would have cancelled the charter on the outbreak of the second Gulf War.

Since modern times, lack of housing had become more serious in the cities when going through urbanization process. As a countermeasure against the situation, multi-family houses raised its head at the end of 1980s. Regarding multi-family houses, which is mainly targeting low-income group, however, only quantitative supply has been focused with no enough research about space planning. For now that the supply of housing in the cities reached certain level, there is a need of planning multi-family house considering the demands of residents. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to identify and analyze the demands of owners and tenants of multi-family house in an improvement district of housing environment for housing improvement, and to extract house planning components. As a research methodology, small-group workshop panel using drawings and mock-up has been practiced to reach residents' concertized opinion. After dividing the residents group into 2 groups which include owners group(3 participants) and tenants group(3 participants), 3 times of workshops covering 2 days are conducted for each group. Actual-condition investigation of the participants' houses was ran side by side with workshop. As a result, difference in their point of view about the reasons and the direction of housing improvement was identified, on the other hand that there is similarity in their demands such as guaranteeing independency and privacy among households.
