Major variables are national brand, curiosity, price, product quality. Research design, data, and methodology: To make effective analysis, several tools and programs for analysis are used with SPSS Statistics ver. 23.0 and AMOS 23.0. Results: National brand, price, product quality have affirmative impacts on satisfaction and repurchase through overseas direct purchase. But curiosity does not have. Among them the most important variable is product quality. This is the same as Chinese consumers think product quality is the most valuable one when buying Korean products through overseas direct purchase. Next one is price. The last one is a national brand. Conclusions: Among the variables of overseas direct purchase, product quality has the biggest impact on satisfaction and repurchase positively. This means that many Chinese consumers are interested in product quality manufactured in Korea. Also Korean product quality is better than that of China until now. Korean companies should, strongly and continuously, have to improve the quality of Korean products because China focuses on product quality in the distribution process in the national base.

  • Recently, traditional trade in the global trade market has stagnated in the aftermath of the US-China trade war and the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. However, the global e-commerce market is growing rapidly, presenting a new opportunity for exports. To examine the effect of an online matching and logistics system on reverse overseas direct purchase and the mediating effect of reliability, this study conducted a questionnaire survey on 320 employees in a Korean trade company from March 10 to April 30, 2018. The study model's goodness of fit was tested, and an analysis was performed using the AMOS statistical package. The online matching and logistics system were found to have a positive effect on reverse overseas direct purchase. Furthermore, results revealed that while a country's reliability mediated online matching and reverse overseas direct purchase, it did not mediate the logistics system. These results mean that online matching is affected by a country's reliability in overseas consumers' buying decision process. This study provides implications for the future directions of export companies and national policies to promote reverse overseas direct purchase. Future research including more countries and companies would be able to make further contributions toward the development of the Korean cross-border e-commerce industry.

  • With the recent expansion of Internet channels and the development of financial technology and information and communication technology, direct overseas purchases have expanded. Although direct overseas purchases dominate consumers in terms of price and scarcity by providing relatively low-priced products and products that are difficult to obtain in Korea, there is a higher chance of consumer dissatisfaction in terms of delivery, product, A/S and refund than domestic purchases. Therefore, this study analyzed consumer dissatisfaction caused by active overseas direct purchase and studied ways to improve problems with overseas direct purchase. As a research method, Several statistical data were collected from the Korea Consumer Agency(KCA), the Korea Customs Service(KCS) and the Korea International Trade Association(KITA) and analyzed using the Exploratory Data Analysis Technique (EDA). The analysis confirmed that consumers were not well aware of information about direct overseas purchases and that the type or degree of consumer complaints varied depending on the type of purchase. Therefore, this study suggests a direction for the revitalization of overseas direct purchases by using EDA to identify the overall status of overseas direct purchases and consumer dissatisfaction and to improve them.
