A Study on Policies of Chinese Overseas Talents and Entrepreneurial Activities in Distribution Industry

  • Purpose: This study analyzed the policies on and changes of elite training through overseas study and their impact on China's national development when entrepreneurs return home. In particular, it analyzed returnee entrepreneurs in the distribution industry. Research design, data and methodology: This study largely analyzed the Chinese government's policy of attracting foreign talent and the results of the policy. The research method utilized the Chinese Statistical Yearbook and various literature. This study also used case analysis methods for start-ups by haigui in the distribution industry. Results: According to the analysis, the Chinese government is implementing various policies to attract talent. Representatively, the government actively attracts talent through the Hundred Talents Plan, Thousand Talents Plan, Chunhui Program and Chizi Program. In addition, the Changjiang Scholars Program is attracting foreign talent. As a result, many talented people are leading development of the Chinese economy. Conclusions: The Chinese government is actively pursuing policies to attract talents from overseas. In addition, it has established a system in which government ministries and research institutes can work closely together to secure effectiveness in attracting overseas talents. Through this, overseas talents are playing an important role in China's economic development through new start-up activities including the distribution industry.

사회자본과 화교경제: 캘리포니아주 한인 및 중국계은행의 비교를 중심으로 (Social Capital and Overseas Chinese Economy: A Comparison of Korean and Chinese ethnobanks in California)

  • 본 연구는 미국에서 화교가 제일 많이 분포되어 있는 곳 중의 한 곳인 캘리포니아 주 화교 은행의 성장과 수익성의 경제적 실적을 한인 은행과 비교하여 그러한 실적의 차이가 나타나는 원인을 사회자본의 관점에서 재해석하여 화교사회자본의 변화를 추적하고자 한다. 미국에서 소수계민족은행은 소수계민족경제 번영의 중요한 결정요인으로 밝혀져 왔다. 그러나 역으로 소수계민족은행의 경영전략과 경영실적 역시 소수계민족경제가 가진 특성에 의해 다시 규정된다. 소수계은행은 시장적 은행전략을 취하는 미국의 주류은행과 달리 관계적 은행전략을 공통적으로 취하고 있다. 그러나 한인은행과 화교은행은 경영실적과 경영전략에서 미세한 차이를 보이고 있는데 역사적 차이와 동질성/비동질성의 차이 외에도 전자의 경우 사업대출의 비중이, 후자의 경우 부동산 대출의 비중이 높은 것 등의 차이가 있다. 본 연구는 관계적 은행전략을 넘어서는 양 소수계 민족은행의 경영실적과 경영전략의 차이가 각 민족은행의 시장기반인 소수계사회의 문화적 특성에 기인한 것임을 밝히며 이를 사회자본으로 개념화한다. 이러한 사회, 문화적 차이를 사회자본에 관한 연구와 연결함으로써 이러한 사회자본의 차이가 두 소수계은행의 경영행태를 다르게 하여 결과적으로 경영실적의 차이로 나타나게 하는 과정을 추적하여 사회자본 개념의 확대에 기여하고자 한다.

Description of China Clothing Brand's Development and Changes of Late Years

  • The purpose of study is to understand of china clothing brand to have them to be competitive position in global market. Also through this study people who are in a clothing industry market from China and overseas will be able to utilize it to have competitive brand power. Analyzing of the China clothing brand with a history and process of development is done to help understand of changes through years. With the rapid development of economy in China, the textiles & clothing industry, as one of the key industries, is showing a strong growing tendency, and brand in china have been expanding oversea market. Till 2002, China has already been the world's largest supplier of textile & clothing. Nowadays, "Made in China" is going to be "Created in China", lots of Chinese clothing brands appear, and many Chinese fashion designers step onto world stage. Chinese women's clothing, men's clothing, casual clothing, sports clothing and designer's brand are developing, popular brands are also promoted through convenient e-commerce. Clothing companies are going public, acquiring overseas brands, implementing internal mergers and integration, expanding overseas market. In such a diversity era, Chinese brands not only need to be localization, but also need to confirm with the trend of international management and globalized economy.

한·중은행의 상호진출이 경영성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Bilateral Expansion of Korean & Chinese Banks on Bank Performance)

  • This paper studies the influence of the bilateral expansion of Korean and Chinese banks on performance. To conduct the empirical analysis, we select eleven Banks in South Korea and thirteen Banks in China over the 2000-2014 time frame. The main regression results are as followed. First, the sample bank's overseas subsidiaries have a significant effect on profitability and the profitability is somewhat deteriorates. Second, the sample bank's overseas branch and subsidiaries have a significant effect on the bank's risk. That is, the loan loss provision ratio is slightly increased but impaired loan ratio is highly decreased. Third, the sample banks' overseas branch and subsidiaries also have a significant effect on bank efficiency. The ratio of customer deposits per employee worsens somewhat but the gross loan per employee are increased. In conclusion, as time passes, bank profitability or efficiency from mutual expansion of Korean banks and Chinese banks seem to be improving somewhat, and this phenomenon is more prominent at Korean banks than at Chinese banks.

화인의 동남아시아 이민과 정착에 관한 연구

  • 華僑出國原因可歸納爲三個因素。首先是亡命·戰爭俘虜等政治性的, 其次是屬於經濟方面的原因而採取强拍手段的, 最後是經濟方面的原因而自動移出的。其中, 經濟方面所起的作用, 不論是採取强拍手段或自願移出, 雖然比較緩慢·分散, 不那麽顯著而集中, 但却是不停止地在進行, 是一個經常起作用的因素。華人的移民, 往往依照同族或同鄕的經驗與協助。先移民者遇有適當的機會, 會援引家中人·或親戚·朋友·隣居。因此, 後去的移民大致跟着先去移民者所住的地域及所選的職業。隨着時間的推移, 這就變成一般華人移民的習慣。

해외 의료관광객이 느끼는 통제력이 서비스 만족 및 구전의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Psychological Control Felt by Overseas Medical Tourists on Service Satisfaction and Word of Mouth Communication)

  • Receiving medical services abroad is an event that involves a high level of risk and stress for most people. This study proposes and empirically examines perceived control as a factor that has a potential to reduce the stress associated with overseas medical experience and enhance satisfaction with it. Based on the research findings in environmental psychology, one's perceived control was divided into cognitive control, behavior control, and decision control. A research model and a set of hypotheses were constructed to investigate the effect of each control on satisfaction and word-of-mouth communications among consumers who had overseas medical service experiences. The data collection was conducted through an online survey of 220 Chinese consumers who had visited Korea as plastic medicine tourists. Satisfaction with their service experience was significantly affected by both behavioral control and decisional control, but not by cognitive control. Thus, Chinese medical tourists prefer to maintain the belief that they are in charge of major decisions associated with the medical procedure, and that the results of the medical procedure will have personally desirable consequences. In addition, satisfaction experienced by Chinese consumers with overseas medical services had a significant impact on their word-of-mouth activities. Based on the research results, a set of academic and practical implications were derived.

  • 한류라는 문화 콘텐츠가 아시아를 중심으로 다양한 국가에 전파되고 있다. 한국 드라마 주인공이 착용한 의상과 화장품은 중국 젊은 소비층에게 유행처럼 번지고 있다. 최근 중국에서는 경제성장과 함께 소비수준이 크게 향상되고 있다. 동시에 중국 소비자의 외국 브랜드에 대한 선호도도 급격히 높아지고 있다. 예를 들어 한류의 영향으로 품질 좋고 합리적인 가격의 한국 화장품이 중국 젊은 소비자에게 많은 인기를 끌고 있다. 중국 소비자의 화장품 구입 관련 다양한 유통경로 중 최근에 중요성이 증대되고 있는 것이 바로 해외 현지인 연계 대리구매이다. 본 연구에서는 중국 화장품 시장 관련 해외 현지인 연계 대리구매 결정요인에 대해 이론적 배경과 함께 실증적 분석을 실시하였다. 실증분석 결과에 의하면 판매가격, 기능성 수준이 높을수록 대리구매 비중이 증대되었다. 이와 함께 수입국 호감도와 같은 외부적인 요인에 의해 소비자 특성, 제품 특성과 대리구매 사이의 관계가 조절될 수 있음이 부분적으로 확인되었다.

재외한인여성의 직업생활비교 - 미국, 중국, 러시아.중앙아시아 지역 한인여성을 중심으로 - (Differences in Working Life of Overseas Korean Women - Focusing on America, China, and Russia.Central Asia -)

  • This study investigated the general trends and differences in the working life of overseas Korean women. The subjects were 872 working Korean women over 20 years of age living abroad in America, China, and Russia Central Asia. The subjects completed a questionnaire on working life and the data were analyzed using SPSS. The working environment of Korean-American women was not stable. Many Korean-American women worked to help the home economy. They were paid by the hour, day and week. On the other hand, many Korean-Chinese women worked for self-achievement and usually for 8 hours a day. The working life of Korean women in Russia Central Asia was not good. They had a small income and worked to help the home economy. The first variables for changing their occupation were income and bonus. Despite their unstable working environment, overseas Korean women estimated their working life positively. They rated scores higher than the median on job satisfaction, business importance, duty ability, duty adaptation and family support. Job stress showed lower scores than the median. Korean women in Russia Central Asia showed lower scores on job satisfaction, family support, and work time flexibility than the other two groups.

아프리카에 진출한 중국기업의 해외직접투자에 관한 연구 (Chinese FDI in Africa)

  • 본 연구는 중국에 진출한 아프리카기업의 내생변수인 해외시장몰입이 마케팅전략과 시장진입전략에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 실증분석 하였고, 해외시장몰입과 기업성과만족도의 상관관계분석을 살펴보았다. 해외시장몰입은 중국기업의 성과만족도에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 보였다. 시장진입전략과 마케팅전략은 중국기업이 아프리카에 해외직접투자를 진행할 때 기업의 해외시장몰입도에 완전매개효과로 나타났다. 또한 중국기업이 해외활동을 진행할 때 시장진입전략과 마케팅전략의 효과를 분석 검증해 봄으로써 앞으로 아프리카에 직접투자 시 효과적인 제안 및 시사점을 제시하였다.

중국의 해외구매대행 현황과 문제점에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Status and Problem Concerning Overseas Shopping Service)

  • With the steady growth of our nation's economy, the purchase power of our domestic citizens has continuously enhanced. In recent years, online overseas shopping has rapidly warmed up, increasing number of Chinese people have started to purchase overseas products via internet. According to China's current legislation, the imported goods are divided into goods and items based on "profitability standard", and regulated by different rules of clearance supervision and import duties. Goods can't pass through custom and pay duties in the form of items, and the import duties burden of goods is generally much heavier than that of items. Goods of entrusted overseas shopping pass through custom and pay duties in the form of items, but goods of profitable purchasing are goods, not items. Therefore, the profitable-purchasing behavior is smuggling. Although goods of unprofitable purchasing are items, unprofitable-purchasing behavior may also constitute smuggling. The author concludes that causes of smuggling crime are: huge market demand for overseas goods, lack of customs supervision, law blank of petty foreign trade, and public's misconception of entrusted overseas purchasing are the major factors. The author proposes the corresponding preventive measures against the crime, such as to establish an one-stop service system in online Shopping Mall, to modify the Passengers' Baggage Declaration Form, to establish a relatively simplified clearance system of small cargo, to establish a relatively reasonable import duties of petty trade.
