FBG 센서를 활용한 가공 전차선의 스트레인 모니터링 (Strain monitoring of overhead contact line with FBG sensors)

  • This paper reports on measurement method for the fiber optic strain monitoring of overhead contact line systems of trains. We used fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensors to measure the strain variation of overhead contact line. FBG sensors were attached on the contact line and connected to the monitering system with optical fibers. The monitering system with FBG sensors showed very good sensitivity to measuring strain variation and this system could be applied to the overhead contact line of KTX.

  • In this paper, measurements and analyses of ELF electric fields in the vicinity of UHV overhead transmission lines and substations have been conducted. Planar-type sensors have been developed with special consideration of picking up lower frequency and spatial components without any distortion. So finally the electric field measuring system has the frequency bandwidth of 7[Hz] to 2.7[MHz] and the response sensitivity of 0.094[mV/V/m]. A brief description of design rules of the measuring system and measurement procedures is introduced. The actual survey near 154 and 345[kV] overhead transmission lines and power subststions was carried out and analyzed. It may be inferred from these results that the electric field intensity exeeds 7[kV/m] only in very few cases particularly at the substations so that the field measurements meet almost limits or guidelines that various authorized international institutes recommend.

  • Tower footing resistance and fault current division factor are important design factors for evaluation of the lightning performance of the transmission line and/or design of the grounding electrode system. The periodic measurement of those factors are also important to verify that the grounding performance of the towers has been maintained good. However, the direct measurement of those factors in operating or energized condition is very difficult because of many practical reasons, such as the difficulty of disconnecting overhead groundwires from the tower under test. With supports by GECOL (General Electricitiy Company of Libya), we had a special chance to conduct Fall-Of-Potential (FOP) test on the energized 220 kV transmission towers before and after disconnecting the overhead groundwires from the towers under test. In this paper, the FOP test results on the towers and the fault current division factors estimated from the comparision of the FOP tests with and without overhead groundwires were presented. The computer models for the FOP test simulations were also constructed to find that the simulated results agreed very well with the measured ones.

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study is a research on the evaluation about shoulder joint function. Methods : It's based on the reference books. Result : Shoulder joint has the biggest ROM in human body, and it is a joint that stability and mobility are required at the same time sport art. Especially, function of shoulder joint than other what item players of more important overhead item correct diagnosis and evaluation for shoulder joint injury require. Measurement equipment for shoulder joint is helping a lot of incorrect diagnosis and analysis about shoulder joint function of overhead players through a lot of developments. Conclusion : I think a lot of helps torture in motor ability elevation of players and player protection as analysis by special quality in item of overhead players.

  • 직류 전철변전소의 가선전압은 전동차들의 회생제동 및 역행가속패턴에 따라 급격히 상승 또는 하강하는 특성을 갖는다. 가선전압 순시 변동폭을 최소로 유지함으로써, 전철변전소와 전동차들의 에너지 효율을 개선시키기 위한 다양한 연구들이 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문은 직류전철 변전소의 가선전압의 급격한 변동특성을 모델링하고 선형인공 신경망 알고리즘을 이용한 가선전압 회로모델의 파라메터 추정 방법을 제안하며, 최소자승법을 이용한 추정방법과의 비교를 통해 이 방법의 타당성을 입증한다. 가선전압 및 피더전류들의 누적 측정값을 사용하여 일괄처리 최소자승법으로 RC 병렬회로의 파라메터들을 추정한 결과를 제시하며, 실시간 가선전압 및 피더전류 측정값을 이용하여 오차역 전파방식으로 학습되는 선형인공신경망 기법 추정 결과를 분석한다.

  • 가공송전선 도체는 장기간 동안 다양한 환경조건에 노출되어 있으므로 공기오염원이나 열적 이력에 의하여 서서히 열화된다. 노화도체는 전력시스템의 신뢰성과 공중 안전을 감소시키다. 따라서 운용 중인 노화도체의 진단은 적정한 용량으로 전력을 안전하게 공급하거나 노화도체의 교체 또는 새로운 선로의 건설이라는 관점에서 매우 중요한 관심사가 되었다. 본 논문에서는 이도를 측정하여 노화도체의 교체수명을 진단하고 잔존수명을 추정하는 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 도체온도, 도체전류 및 장력 사이의 관계를 해석함으로써 이도가 노화도체의 기계적 인장손실을 정확하게 나타낼 수 있다는 것을 확인하였다. 몇 가지 수치해석결과를 토대로 제안된 방법이 가공도체의 교체수명이나 잔존수명을 진단하는데 효과적으로 사용될 수 있음을 보였다.

  • The aim of this paper is to analyze the dynamic responses of pantograph-overhead contact line coupled system by using a condition monitoring system. The monitoring items are strain, vertical displacement and acceleration of a contact wire. Both strain and vertical displacement in the contact wire depends on uplift force and train velocity. Measurement of acceleration shows that the passage of the pantograph gives an impact force to a hard point on a contact wire.

  • In electric railway, image monitoring using high speed camera provides reliable, timely information of wear and geometry status, important in taking decisions for overhead contact wire maintenance. The contribution of this research is the development of a simple real-time monitoring system for use in measurement subsystem of contact wire and geometry of overhead contact wire in electric railway. The system has been consists of a high speed CMOS camera with resolution $1024{\times}1280$ pixels, line type laser source and PC-based image acquisition system with PCI Express slot. Vision acquisition software have been used in application programming interface for image acquisition, display, and storage with a frequency of sampling of 500 acquisitions per second.

Sliding Wear and Corrosion Resistance of Copper-based Overhead Catenary for Traction Systems

  • In the present study, the electrical sliding wear and corrosion resistance of pure copper (Cu) and six age-hardened copper alloys (CuCr, CuZr, CuCrZr, CuNiSiCr, CuBe and CuBeNi) were investigated by a pin-on-disc tribometer and electrochemical measurement. Various copper-based alloys in the form of cylindrical pin were forced to slide against a counterface stainless steel disc in air under unlubricated condition at a sliding velocity of 31 km/h under normal load up to 20 N with and without electric current. The worn surface of and wear debris from the specimens were studied by scanning electron microscopy. Both mechanical wear and electrical arc erosion were the wear mechanisms for the alloys worn at 50 A. Owing to its good electrical conductivity, high wear and corrosion resistance, CuCrZr is a promising candidate as the overhead catenary material for electric traction systems.

  • In case that the perfect model following conditions are not satisfied in the system, a perfect model-following controller is difficult to apply to the system. To deal with this problem, in this paper, a robust imperfect stable model-following controller is designed by combining time delay controller and sliding mode controller based on the concept of two degrees of freedom(2-DOF) controller design method. The experimental dynamic modeling of the commercial overhead crane with capacity of two tons is carried out. To remove the noise of the measuring signals from the swing angle measurement device and estimate the state of the swing angles of the transported object at each time instant, realtime tracker is designed using Kalman filter. The performance of the designed robust controller is tested through the commercial overhead. The experimental results show that the designed controller is robust and applicable to real systems.
