고휘도 발광을 위한 유기 EL 소자 제작 (The fabrication of organic EL device for high contrast)

  • The Organic Electroluminescence (OEL) device, that was consisted of ALq3(8-hydroxyquinoline aluminum) and TPD(N,N'-diphenyl-N,N'-bis(3-methylphenyl)-1,1'-biphenyl-4,4'-diamine), has been used. We investigated characteristics of brightness and current density about OEL that was oxidated each layers. We used two samples that were fabricated each continuous and non-continuous method. Emission was observed above 10mA/$\textrm{cm}^2$ and luminance was measured to be 1530cd/$\textrm{cm}^2$ at a current density of 100mA/$\textrm{cm}^2$. A luminance of over 2600cd/$\textrm{cm}^2$ was also observed after the final fabrication process.

  • For small capacity rectifier circuits such as these for consumer electronics and appliances, capacitor input type rectifier circuits are generally used. Consequently, various harmonics generated within the power system become a serious problem. Various studies of this effect have been presented previously. However, most of these employ switching devices, such as FET and the like. The absence of switching devices mattes systems more tolerant to over-load and brings low radio noise benefits. We propose a power factor correction scheme using a LC resonant in commercial frequency without switching devices. In this method It makes a sinusoidal wave by widening conduction period using the current resonance in commercial frequency, Hence, the harmonic characteristics can be significantly improved, where the lower order harmonics, such as the fifth and seventh orders are much reduced The result are confirmed by the theoretical and experimental implementations.

  • The paper is proposed maximum torque control of SynRM drive using learning mechanism-fuzzy neural network(LM-FNN) controlle. The control method is applicable over the entire speed range and considered the limits of the inverter's current and voltage rated value. For each control mode, a condition that determines the optimal d-axis current ${^{i}}_d$ for maximum torque operation is derived. The proposed control algorithm is applied to SynRM drive system controlled LM-FNN controller, the operating characteristics controlled by maximum torque control are examined in detail. Also, this paper is proposed the analysis results to verify the effectiveness of the LM-FNN controller.

  • $SrTa_2O_6$(STA) thin films were fabricated by sol-gel method. The films annealed below $700^{\circ}C$, showed amorphous phase and crystallization phase was observed after annealing over $800^{\circ}C$. From high frequency capacitance-voltage measurements, 24nm thick STA thin film annealed at $900^{\circ}C$, has an EOT of 5.7nm and a dielectric constant of 16. Leakage current characteristics were improved by the insertion of chemical oxide between STA and Si. Leakage current densities are around $3.5{\times}10^{-7}A/cm^2$ at 5V for the structure inserted chemical oxide but $1.4{\times}10^{-6}A/cm^2$ at 5V without chemical oxide.

Electrochemical Characteristics of Solid Polymer Electrode Fabricated with Low IrO2 Loading for Water Electrolysis

  • To maximize the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) in the electrolysis of water, nano-grade $IrO_2$ powder with a low specific surface was prepared as a catalyst for a solid polymer electrolyte (SPE) system, and a membrane electrode assembly (MEA) was prepared with a catalyst loading as low as $2mg\;cm^{-2}$ or less. The $IrO_2$ catalyst was composed of heterogeneous particles with particle sizes ranging from 20 to 70 nm, having a specific surface area of $3.8m^2g^{-1}$. The anode catalyst layer of about $5{\mu}m$ thickness was coated on the membrane (Nafion 117) for the MEA by the decal method. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) confirmed strong adhesion at the interface between the membrane and the catalyst electrode. Although the loading of the $IrO_2$ catalyst was as low as $1.1-1.7mg\;cm^{-2}$, the SPE cell delivered a voltage of 1.88-1.93 V at a current density of $1A\;cm^{-2}$ and operating temperature of $80^{\circ}C$. That is, it was observed that the over-potential of the cell for the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) decreased with increasing $IrO_2$ catalyst loading. The electrochemical stability of the MEA was investigated in the electrolysis of water at a current density of $1A\;cm^{-2}$ for a short time. A voltage of ~2.0 V was maintained without any remarkable deterioration of the MEA characteristics.

나로우주센터 상공의 낙뢰 발생 특성 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Lightning Detection over the Naro Space Center)

  • The latest aerospace technology is important for the stable flight of a launch vehicle, but weather conditions on the day of launch are also one of the essential factors for successful launch campaign. If a launch vehicle is directly struck while preparing to take off from the launch pad on the day of launch or the electronic device are damaged by induced current during flight of the launch vehicle, this means launch failure and can lead to enormous national loss. Therefore, for a successful launch campaign, it is necessary to analyze the lightning detection characteristics of the Naro Space Center. In this study, the seasonal factors of the lightning that occurred over the Naro Space Center from 2003 to 2017, the influence of the polarity, and the correlation with the lightning intensity was confirmed. As a result, there was a high probability of intensive occurrence of multiple lightning strikes in summer, and a high proportion of positive (+) lightning strikes in winter. Lastly, in the distribution of the number of lightning strikes, an average of 2.0 to 2.5 negative (-) lightning strikes occurs in the coastal regions of the South and West Seas when one flash happens.

  • The intermittent characteristics of renewable energy complicates the process of balancing supply with demand. Electrolysis technology can provide flexibility to grid management by converting electricity to hydrogen. Alkaline electrolysis has been recognized as established technology and utilized in industry for over 100 years. However, high overpotential of oxygen evolution reaction in alkaline water electrolysis reduces the overall efficiency and therefore requires the development of anode catalyst. In this study, Raney Ni-Zn-Fe electrode was prepared by electroplating and the electrode characteristics was studied by varying electroplating parameters like electrodeposition time, current density and substrate. The prepared Raney Ni-Zn-Fe electrode was electrochemically evaluated using linear sweep voltammetry. Physical and chemical analysis were conducted by scanning electron microscope, energy dispersive spectrometer, and X-ray diffraction. The plating time did not changed the morphology and composition of the electrode surface and showed a little effect on overpotential reduction. As the plating current density increased, Fe content on the surface increased and cauliflower-like structure appeared on the electrode surface. In particular, the overpotential of the electrode, which was prepared at the plating current density of 320 mA/㎠, has showed the lowest value of 268 mV at 50 mA/㎠. There was no distinguishable overpotential difference between the type of substrate for the electrodes prepared at 80 mA/㎠.

a-Si:H TFT Using Ferroelectrics as a Gate Insulator

  • The a-Si:H TFT using ferroelectric of SrTi $O_3$as a gate insulator is fabricated on glass. Dielectric characteristics of ferroelectric are superior to $SiO_2$and S $i_3$ $N_4$. Ferroelctric increases on-current, decreases thresh old voltage of TFT and also improves breakdown characteristics. The a-SiN:H has optical band gap of 2.61 eV, refractive index of 1.8~2.0 and resistivity of 10$^{13}$ - 10$^{15}$ $\Omega$cm, respectively. Insulating characteristics of ferroelectrics are excellent because dielectric constant of ferroelectric is about 60~100 and breakdown strength is over 1MV/cm. TFT using ferroelectric has channel length of 8~20${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ and channel width of 80~200${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$. And it shows that drain current is 3.4$mutextrm{A}$ at 20 gate voltage, $I_{on}$ / $I_{off}$ is a ratio of 10$^{5}$ - 10$^{8}$ and $V_{th}$ is 4~5 volts, respectively. In the case of TFT without ferroelectric, it indicates that the drain current is 1.5 $mutextrm{A}$ at 20 gate voltage and $V_{th}$ is 5~6 volts. With the improvement of the ferroelectric thin film properties, the performance of TFT using this ferroelectric has advanced as a gate insulator fabrication technology is realized.zed.d.

안동지역 전통문화와 연계한 전통문화상품의 디자인 개발: 소비자 의식조사 (Branding Program Connected with the Traditional Culture in Andong: Consumer's Evaluation)

  • Three hundred of women between twenty and over seventy living around Andong, Sangju, Youngju and northern part of Kyungsang Province replied consumer research on industrialization of traditional clothing products in that area. An age distribution of the women is 60 people (20.0%) between 20 and 34 years old, 147 people (49.1%) between 35 and 54 years old, 93 people (27.9%) over 55 years old and the subject of study included in middle-aged and old-aged is 77.0%. A direct questionnaire and enclosed questionnaire are used to measure. The questions consist of questions about current circumstances of traditional clothing production, features of natural fabrics in the northern part of Kyungsang Province, distributive process, features classified by kinds, directions of development and economic conditions of natural fabrics. Andong has a traditionally unique culture throughout Korea. If Andongpo are developed as clothing fabrics harmonized beauty of tradition with modern characteristics, fashion business in the northern part of Kyungsang Province will be improved. In addition, encouraging majority of the young to participate in this movement is regarded as beneficial for the reinforcement of competitiveness against other regions and public relations of the region. As one of the solutions to development of this traditional clothing business, its own program made by industry-academic cooperation for the development of clothing products which is suitable for traditional fabric in Andong should be implemented.

마이크로 프로세서에 의한 영구자석동기 전동기의 구동 (Microprocessor Based Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Drive)

  • This paper presents the results of driving performance analysis of permanent magnet synchronous motor using a microprocessor based control system. The system consists of three phase power transistor inverters, three phase controlled rectifier, three central processing units, and sensors. The three CPUs are, respectively, used to generate PWM control signals for the inverter generating three phase sine wave, to generate the gate control signals for firing the converter, and to supervise other two CPUs. The supervisor is used to compute PI control algtorithm to three phase reference sine wave for the inverter. It is also used to maintain a constant voltage frequency ratio for the converter operating as a constant torque controller. The inverter CPU retrieves precomputed PWM patterns from look up tables because of computation speed limitations found in almost available microprocessors. The converter CPU also retrieves precomputed gate control patterns from another look-up tables. For protecting the control ststem from any damage by extraordinary over currents, the supervisor receives the data from current sensor, CT, and break down the CB to isolate the circuits from source. A resolver has a good performance characteristics of overall speed range, especially on low speed range. Therefor the speed control accuracy is impoved. The microprocessor based PM synchronous motor control system, thus, has many advantages such as constant torque characteristics, improvement of wave, limitation on extraordinary over currents, improvement of speed control accuracy, and fast response speed control using multi-CPU and look-up tables.
