Intraosseus ganglion cysts are uncommon, benign, juxta-articular and usually found within long bones. A 35-year-old male presented with acute right ankle pain. He denied any traumatic event. Tenderness was localized on the subtalar joint. Radiologic studies demonstrated a cystic lesion in the juxta-articular portion of the posterior facet of the calcaneus. The patient underwent excision and curettage. Postoperative recovery was uneventful. A histological examination confirmed a typical intraosseus ganglion cyst. A case of an intraosseus ganglion cyst of the calcaneus causing acute subtalar joint pain is described.

We presented a case of posteriorly displaced fracture of the distal clavicle in Child. The closed reduction was failed due to posteriorly displaced proximal fragment and interpositon of trapezius muscle and periosteum. We found that periosteal sleeve and coracoclaviclar ligament and acromioclavicular ligament was intact. The open reduction should be considered for the treatment of the irreducible posteriorly displaced fracture of the distal clavicle in child.

Orthopedic medicine specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. The physical therapy speciality, Orthopedic Manipulative Therapy(OMT) is an important part of orthopedic medicine. Much of OMT is devoted to the evaluation and treatment of joint and related soft tissue disorders and one of the primary treatment methods is mobilization. When examination reveals joint dysfunction, especially decreased range of motion, joint mobilization techniques are often utilized. Soft tissue mobilization techniques are used to improve mobility and other soft tissues. The therapist should have precautions for a patient. These precautions are based on the patient's concurrent medical and surgical diagnosis. Lastly, the literature describing therapeutic interventions in patients with musculoskeletal problem is poor because the painful conditions are poorly characterized and the therapeutic interventions are poorly described; so, where Kaltenborn-Evjenth concept for patient with musculoskeletal problem were identified, the treatment concept are introduced.

In this study, we wolud be developed the fuzzy controlled PGO that controlled the flexion and the extension of each PGO's joint using the bio-signal and FSR sensor. The PGO driving system is to couple the right and left sides of the orthosis by specially designed hip joints and pelvic section. This driving system consists of the orthosis, sensor, control system. An air supply system of muscle is composed of an air compressor, 2-way solenoid valve(MAC, USA), accumulator, pressure sensor. Role of this system provide air muscle with the compressed air at hip joint constantly. According to output signal of EMG sensor and foot sensor, air muscles and assists the flexion of hip joint during PGO gait.

There are many reports on the various methods of treatment for hallux valgus. 1st metatarsal proximal osteotomy with distal soft tissue procedure or 1st metatarsophalangeal joint arthrodesis has been conventionally used for treatment of severe hallux valgus. We performed a new double chevron osteotomy in 3 cases and obtained satisfying results. We present this procedure as a new method of treatment for severe hallux valgus.

Avulsion fracture of medial cuneiform by tibialis anterior tendon is quite rare. It has been reported about the avulsion fracture and surgical repair of tibialis anterior tendon rupture at distal insertion site of medial cuneiform in Korea. We report a case of right foot medial cuneiform avulsion fracture by tibialis anterior tendon after autobike accident and describe this case with a review of literature.

Metals used orthopedic in human magnetic resonance imaging scan of the metal to be inserted, The information to users about the image distortion is to propose a basis for judgment.
