The main purpose of this paper is to determine a new focal point and field distribution due to the shape deformation of reflector antenna by numerical method such as geometrical optics and the aperture field method. It is shown the 4 types deformations to be added into original shape of parabola antenna and offset antenna: linear, quadratic, cubic and hybrid distortion. These results can be applied to deformed reflector antenna in order to fit a focal point and radiation pattern.

This study is arranged the principles of the preservation and restoration in pre-modern architecture, presented guideline of the interior restoration in there, and attempted relative-analysis by cases of Japan in wall and ceiling. The method of Original-restorations and Repairs must be preserved in materials and technologies in order to hand over the future generations. The process and method of restorations are the important Cultural Properties as Architecture's itself.

The purpose of this note is to give Opial type inequalities with nonlocal conditions. Also, a reverse of the original inequality with y(a) = y(b) = 0 is derived. We apply these inequalities to second-order differential equations with nonlocal conditions to derive several necessary conditions for the existence of solutions.

In time series analysis we generally use Box-Cox power transformation for variance stabilization. In this paper we show that order estimator and one step ahead forecast of transformed AR(1) model are approximately invariant to those of the original model under some assumptions. A small Monte-Carlo simulation is performed to support the results.

In order to estimate the mean and variance for a Normal distribution which is truncated at both right and left sides, maximum likelihood estimators based on the entire sample from the original distribution are compared with the sample mean and variance of the censored sample which is the data remaining after truncation using simulation. We found that, surprisingly, the mean squared error of the mean based on the censored data Is smaller than that of the full sample estimators.

This paper represents how a muzzle brake affects the dynamic characteristics of the recoil system. A muzzle brake is a device attached to the muzzle for the express purpose of diverting the propellant gas stream from its original path, thereby creating a foreward thrust on the recoiling gun which is in opposition to its rearward motion. In order to obtain the full advantage of a muzzle brake, it is necessary that the recoil system of a gun be designed for the purpose.

This paper proposes the fuzzy logic-based fast gain scheduling(FFGS) controller for regulation problem in nonlinear systems. It utilizes which reflects the derivative information on the original scheduling variable in order to achieve better performance than the existents. Moreover, we apply the proposed control scheme to control active suspension systems with nonlinear components.

In this paper we deal with the duality theory of optimality for an optimal control problem governed by a class of second order evolution equations. First we establish the dual control systems by using conjugate functions and then associate them to the original optimization problem.

In order to investigate the behavior of newly developed PC deck plate bridges, 1/2 scale model specimen was tested under the 2 million cycles of fatigue loading. Forces between PC members were transfered by shear keys located at the faces of deck plate and girders. The test results showed that the test specimen maintained its original strength after 2 million cycles of fatigue loading.

When a input image is extensively magnified on the computer system, it is almost impossible to replicate the original shape because of mismatched coordinates system. In order to resolve the problem, the shape of the magnified image has been reconfigured using the bilinear interpolation method, low pass special filtering interpolation method and B-spline interpolation method. Ferguson curve interpolation method based on the CAD/CAM curve interpolation algorithm.
