컨테이너터미널 인력운영 변화모형에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Decision-Making Model of Manpower Utilization of Container Terminals)

  • 본 연구는 컨테이너터미널 인력운영 변화요인과 인력운영 간 복잡한 인과관계를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 1차연구(2021)에서 도출된 5가지 컨테이너터미널 인력운영 변화요인(기술발달, 안전 및 보안, 사회외부적 환경변화, 터미널 운영, 조직문화)에 대하여 확인적 요인분석과 구조방정식 모형 분석을 순서대로 진행하였으며, 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 확인적 요인분석결과 5가지 컨테이너터미널 인력운영 변화요인은 집중타당성과 판별타당성을 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 기술발달과 사회외부적 환경변화는 인력운영에 직접효과를 주는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 터미널운영, 안전 및 보안은 인력운영에 간접효과를 주는 반면, 조직문화는 인력운영에 미치는 영향이 통계적으로 유의하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로, 컨테이너터미널 인력운영과 관련된 다양한 시사점을 도출하였다.

간호사가 인지한 투약오류관리풍토와 오류보고의도의 관계에서 변혁적 리더십의 역할 (Role of Transformational-leadership in the Relationship between Medication Error Management Climate and Error Reporting Intention of Nurse)

  • Purpose: The objective of this study was to identify the moderating and mediating effects of transformational-leadership in the relationship between medication error management climate and error reporting intention. Methods: Participants in this study were 118 nurses from 11 hospitals in Korea. The scales of medication error management climate, transformational-leadership and error reporting intention of nurses were used in this study. Descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, partial Pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression were used for data analysis. Results: Higher transformational leadership group members had higher error management climate (t=3.88~4.64, p<.001) and higher intention to error reporting (t=2.49, p=.014). There were significant positive correlations between subcategories of medication error management climate and transformational leadership (r=.37~.51, p<.001). But error reporting intention was related to the transformational leadership (r=.28 p=.002), two subcategories such as 'learn from error' (r=.26, p=.004) and 'medication error competence' (r=.25, p=.008) of medication error management climate. Transformational-leadership was a moderator and a mediator between medication error management climate and error reporting intention. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, transformational-leadership promotion training program to construct medication error management climate and to improve error reporting intention should be needed.

의료사고 및 분쟁 줄이기: 효과적인 의사소통을 중심으로 (Reduction of Medical Accidents and Disputes: with priority given to effective communication)

  • The importance of effective communication is increasingly stressed in the medical sector. This is crucial for the resolution of medical accidents and conflicts, and that can contribute to the prevention of the two as well. The careful attitude of the medical team toward patient safety and their communication with colleagues and other departments are mandatory for the successful decrease of dental accidents. The good communication within of the hospital organization is one of vital ways to ensure accurate diagnosis and successful treatment. In the field of health care, effective teamwork requires a shared goal, superb work skills, communication and cooperation, but this fact has been overlooked so far. Among those factors, communication is indispensable to the achievement of organizational goals, and how to boost communication by acquiring diverse skills and using appropriate tools in the dentistry should discreetly be considered. This study explared how to improve the teamwork and communication of organization in an effort to seek specific ways of reducing medical conflict in dental.

베이비붐세대 남성의 근무환경이 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Working environment on Psychological Well-being in Male Baby boomers)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to measure psychological well-being and to examine the associated factors in male baby boomers using Korean Working Conditions Survey Data 2011. Methods: This study was based on the 3rd Korean Working Conditions Survey Data 2011, which was conducted from June to November 2011 by the Occupational Safety and Health Research Institute. The total number of subjects was 3,340 male employees, who were born from 1955 to 1963 and responded to the question regarding occupational stress. Chi-square and multiple logistic regression were used for data analysis using the SAS ver 9.3 program. Results: Approximately 54.5% of the male babyboomer employees did not have psychological well-being. Factors associated with psychological well-being were weekend-shift and occupational stress including job insecurity, organizational system, and lack of reward. Night-shift and long working hours influenced psychological well-being, but the difference was not statistically significant. Conclusion: This study is a meaningful attempt to measure psychological well-being and perform an analysis of associated factors in male baby boomer employees using nationwide survey data. We suggest a complex institutional supplement in terms of national and employers to increase the psychological well-being of baby boomers.

임상간호사의 프리젠티즘 연구에 관한 통합적 고찰 (Presenteeism in Clinical Nurses: An Integrative Literature Review)

  • Purpose: This review aimed to integrate the results of studies related to presenteeism in clinical nurses and to suggest directions for future research. Methods: The search for relevant studies was conducted using six data bases according to predetermined index terms, "$nurs^*$" and "presenteeism." Thirteen studies that met the inclusion criteria were selected and analyzed. Results: This review found that the conceptual use and scope of presenteeism were not consistent among the studies. Most studies investigated the nurses' health-related variables as the most important factors and reported their positive association with presenteeism. Presenteeism was also found to be associated with job stress, job satisfaction, social support, and organizational culture and had a negative impact on nursing outcomes such as patient safety. Conclusion: The research on presenteeism can be used as a way to explain outcomes in the field of nursing where direct measurement of productivity is difficult. Presenteeism is a multidimensional problem, and a theoretical foundation is needed to explain the presenteeism of clinical nurses.

Factors Influencing Human Resource Planning (HRP) for Local Workforce Supply in Malaysian Construction Industry

  • The lacks of local workforce supply become a problematic in Malaysian construction industry. Meanwhile, HRP is important during workforce supply to help organizations in order to appoint the right people in the right job. This paper reports on the use of factors influencing HRP towards local workforce supply in the construction industry in general, and Malaysian construction in particular. Semi structured interviews were conducted to 10 interviewees from the government and non-government organizations to investigate current issues of local workforce and the practices of HRP in the construction organization. The analysis methods were based on descriptions of previous tested research. The findings reveal that the lack of local workforce is due to low wages system, safety issues, educational changes, low status and unsecured work, environment in construction industry, developments and technologies changes in Malaysia. The internal factors of HRP were practiced among construction organization are organization strategy, organizational culture, organization changes, leadership and experience, nature of work and empowerment of labor. Meanwhile, the external factors are technology changes, economic changes, legislation and demographic changes. The paper provides valuable information on the practices of factors influencing HRP for local workforce supply in Malaysian construction industry.

가정전문간호사가 실무에서 경험한 어려움과 대처 (Difficulties and Coping Experienced by Advanced Practice Nurses in Home Health Nursing Field)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to explore the difficulties and coping that advanced practice nurses (APNs) experience in home health nursing field. Methods: The participants were 12 APNs who had experience in home health nursing for over 5 years. Data were collected through two focus group interviews between August and September, 2017. The results were analyzed using a qualitative content analysis. Results: Out of 10 sub-categories and 29 codes, 4 categories emerged: "crushed by the responsibilities as the only healthcare professional", "worn out by family who interfere with work", "anxiety about my safety being threatened" and "using self-learned know-hows". Conclusion: APNs face difficulties due to the environmental characteristics of the homes, the characteristics of chronically critically ill (CCI) patients and their families, and legal or systematical limitations when dealing with problems based on their personal competence. In order to ensure that professional nursing care is more readily provided to CCI patients through home health nursing services in local communities, it is imperative that support systems at the organizational and institutional levels be established in a systematic way to resolve the issues faced by APNs.

GIS를 이용한 지하매설물의 효율적 관리방안 : 데이터베이스 설계 및 구축방안을 중심으로 (Database Development Guideline for the Effective Management of Underground Facilities in Seoul)

  • 지하매설물은 지방자치단체, 통신공사, 전력공사, 도시가스회사, 지역난방공사 등 관리주체가 다양하며, 서로 다른 기본도 사용에 따른 중복투자발생, 관리부서별 다양한 도면 및 대장자료의 산재, 다양한 관리기관별 업무협조체제의 부재로 인해 통합된 정보부재 등의 문제를 안고 있다. 선진외국에서 GIS를 이용하여 지하매설물을 체계적으로 관리하고, 도시안전관리에도 기여함을 고려할 때, 지하매설물의 효율적 관리방안으로서 GIS 도입에 대한 연구가 절실함을 느낀다. 본 연구에서는 첫째 지하매설물 관리기관별 지하매설물 관리실태를 파악하고 둘째 서울시 지하매설물 관련기관에서 사용할 수 있는 확장성있는 데이터베이스 표준안을 작성하였으며 셋째 지하매설물 데이터베이스 구축에 있어 탐사에 의한 방법과 기존의 각 관리기관에서 보유하고 있는 도면을 이용하는 방법에 대한 가능성 검증 및 기존도면을 이용하여 데이터베이스를 구축하는 경우의 입력절차를 제안하고, 넷째 데이터베이스 구축 후 유지관리를 위한 방안에 대한 대안을 제시하였다.

의료기관 보건관리자의 직무 수행도에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting the Job Performance of Occupational Health Manager at the Hospital)

  • Purpose: To identify the importance and performance levels of health management duties, work-related and general attributes of health managers in medical institutions and analyze their impact on the performance of managing health-care related tasks. Methods: This research identified the performance levels of 150 health managers who have been executing industrial health-related duties for more than six months as nurses in medical institutions with more than 30 hospital beds. The variables which affect their performances were then analyzed. Results: The average importance of health care duties was 8.1 out of 10 and 5.5 for performance levels. Multi-regression analysis on the variables affecting performance levels of health managers in medical institutions showed that health managers exhibit higher numbers under the following conditions: over 300 full-time employees, more than 1 year but less than 3 years of experience, positions above section chief level, affiliation to the safety and health department, and high perception of duty importance. Conclusion: Improved cognizance of health manager importance should occur initially; then, health-care center setup, assigning of exclusive occupational health managers, and organizational efforts to improve the working environment in tandem with the provision of educational training programs to improve work quality are necessary.

AUTOMATION OF QUANTITATIVE SAFETY EVALUATION IN CHEMICAL PROCESSES

  • A method to automate hazard analysis of chemical plants is proposed in this paper. The proposed system is composed of three knowledge bases - unit knowledge base, organizational knowledge base and material knowledge base, and three hazard analysis algorithms - deviation, malfunction and accident analysis algorithm. Hazard analysis inference procedure is developed based on the actual hazard analysis procedures and accident development sequence. The proposed algorithm can perform hazard analysis in two methods and represent all conceivable types of accidents using accident analysis algorithm. In addition, it provides intermediate steps in the accident propagation, and enables the analysis result to give a useful information to hazard assessment. The proposed method is successfully demonstrated by being applied to diammonium phosphate manufacturing process. A system to automate hazard analysis is developed by using the suggested method. The developed system is expected to be useful in finding the propagation path of a fault or the cause of a malfunction as it is capable to approach causes of faults and malfunctions simultaneously.
