A Meta-analysis of variables related to Empowerment of social workers (사회복지사의 임파워먼트와 관련된 변인에 관한 메타분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to reveal the magnitude of the correlation effect between variables related to empowerment of social workers. To this end, 30 studies published in Korea were analyzed through meta-analysis. The results are as follows. First, the overall effect size of the variable group was the median effect size; the job-related positive variables showed the largest effect size among the variable groups, and then came the organization-related variables, the personal psychology-related variables, the job-related negative variables, and the personal background variables in that order. Second, among the factors related to personal background variables, all factors except position were found to have a small effect size, or close to a small effect size. Self-esteem, which is an individual psychologically related variable, showed a medium effect size close to a large effect size. Among the organizationally related variables, organizational commitment and transformational leadership showed a large effect size, and organization culture showed a medium effect size. In addition, job satisfaction, which is a positive job-related variable, showed a large effect size, while burnout from job-related negative variables showed a large effect size, and turnover intention showed a medium effect size.

An Analysis of Members' Perception about Organization Activities of Traditional Communities in Rural Areas (농촌 전통 공동체 조직 활동에 대한 구성원의 인식 분석)

  • This study reinterpreted the value of traditional communities in rural areas and explored ways to revitalize sustainable communities. To do this, we surveyed the members' perceptions about the activities of the community organization as assessed through a questionnaire. The questionnaire items focused on the participation, satisfaction and contribution of the members of the community organization, with additional questions investigating the idea of the community vitalizations plan. A self-report questionnaire survey was administered to 321 members of the community, and the results were analyzed through technical data, t-test and ANOVA analysis by using the SPSS program. In the results, the perceptions of the members of the traditional village community differed significantly according to socio - demographic factors and member recognition characteristics. Especially, males were more voluntarily and positively compared to females, and the lower the age of satisfaction, the lower was the perceived individual satisfaction with community activities. In the case of perceived contributions to individuals and the community, the participants perceived positively in the emotional support for the individual's participation in the organization. On the other hand, the results confirmed that the contribution to the local community is important in realistic aspects such as regional vitalizations. It is confirmed by the decrease in the number of members in response to the difficulty of the organization. (Ed- 'the lack of the size of the membership' simply repeats 'the decrease in the number of members'; thus it's unnecessary).

  • This study examined the correlation between the variables related to the organizational commitment of social workers. The research results are as follows. First, the overall effect size of the variable group had an intermediate effect size. Among the four organizational commitment-related variables, the job-related negative variable had the largest effect size. Next, the group of positive variables related to the organization, the group of positive variables related to the job, and the group of individuals related to the individual were in order. Second, among the individual-related variables, experience, gender, and education showed a small effect size, and other factors were close to the small effect size. In the group of positive variables related to organization, all variables except for transactional leadership and organizational fairness, which had a medium effect size, showed a large effect size. The job-related positive variables showed a large effect size only for job satisfaction, and customer orientation and job suitability were close to the large effect size. The turnover intention, which is a group of job-related negative variables, had a large effect size and job stress showed a medium effect size.

A Study on Financial Stability Ratios in Small and Medium Size Business (중소기업 재무안정성 비율에 대한 연구)

  • A position of small and medium size business is increasing in the national economic. On the other hand, there are many difficulties in the small and medium size business. The most difficult problem is the financial supply for the small and medium size business. This study is analzing the financial stability ratios of the small and medium size business in comparision with financial ratios of a large enterprise and industrial average ratio. As the result, the degree of financial stability ratio of small and medium size business is lower than industrial standard ratio. While the degree of financial stability and liquidity ratios of the small and medium size business is higher than industry average ratio. the degree of dependence of borrowing of the small and medium size business is lower. Therefore, it is necessary for nation and administration organization to supply financing for the small and medium size business.

Factors Influencing Impact of Smart Factory Adoption (스마트공장 도입의 효과에 영향을 주는 요인들)

  • We analyze the effects and related factors of Smart Factory adoption. 110 and 325 samples were collected by median-size-industry matching method, respectively, of adopting and non-adopting companies. We use financial statement data (ROA, etc.) from the year before adoption to the fourth year after adoption. Abnormal operating performance and annual abnormal changes are obtained according to event study method, and analyzed by Wilcoxon signed-rank test and t-test. ROA and sales growth rate demonstrate short-term effects after adoption, but not long-term effects. As a result of regression analysis to examine if the three factors of labor intensity, R&D intensity, and prior financial performance have moderating effect, the moderating effect of R&D intensity and prior financial performance is confirmed. In addition, we perform regression analysis to confirm performance effects of early and late adoptions and whether prior financial performance and organization size have moderating effect. It is confirmed that the later the time of adoption, the greater the effect of adoption in the long term and the moderating effect of prior financial performance and organization size is confirmed.

Study on the relationship between Plastic Deformation and Crystal Grain Change in Warm Forging (온간 단조기에서의 소성변형과 결정입자 변화와의 관계)

  • The relationship between plastic deformation and crystal grain change in warm forging processes of SM100 carbon steel is studied. If the carbon steel is deformed in warm forging temperature (about recrystallization range), the crystal grain and cementite of the internal part are changed, so material properties are changed. Some experimental values, such as the elliptic degree of cementite, the grain size of cementitie and ferrite grain size, are investigated. When the plastic deformation proceeds, the elliptic degree of cementite becomes large, the grain size of cementite particle is small, and the size of ferrite grain appears fine by recrystallization. The elliptic degree of cementite has a considerable effect on formability. The distribution of effective strain in the forging is calculated by the rigid visco-plastic FEM analysis. The effective strain distribution obtained from the FEM simulation is compared with the experimental result. At effective strain 0.3 dynamic recovery and dynamic recrystallization begin, over 2.5 the organization of material has better quality that is suitable for the following cold forming.

  • The importance of the evaluation and verification of small-size cogeneration system has been emphasized because there is no KS-code related to the small-size cogeneration system. The evaluation method of small-size engine cogeneration system was investigated by the reference of Japan evaluation code, JIS B-8122 and international standard organization, ISO-8528. Evaluation method was introduced such as start-test, rapid-load-up and rapid-load-down, etc. The evaluation method was applied to the 300kW small-size gas engine cogeneration system newly developed. The precise and strict evaluation and verification of the system will help the developing cogeneration system to optimum condition. It will also be a base document of KS-Code.

Developing a Conceptual ERP Model by using "4+1 View" ("4+1 뷰"를 적용한 ERP 개념 모델 개발)

  • Nowadays, many commercial ERP products, such as Oracle, SAP, and Baan, etc, are designed based on large-scaled companies. It is difficult for small and medium-size companies with weakness in budgets and resources(e.g., human, organization, technique, and so on) to use them as it was. So, new ERP system need to be provided for small and medium-size companies. In this paper, we model and provide a conceptual ERP model for small and medium-size companies by using "4+1 View" architecture model of Unified Modeling Language(UML). The conceptual ERP model consists of five subsystems: Manufacturing, Sales, HumanResource and Payroll, Accounting, and Trading. Especially, we describe the conceptual ERP model focusing on "Manufacturing" subsystem by using several diagrams of UML. By using the conceptual ERP model, the ERP system′s developers of small and medium-size companies can obtain many benefits: improving the efficiency of software developing process and helping user requirements gathering and description of ERP system′s nonfunctional aspect as well as functional aspect.

Body-shape characteristics and body types of plus-size men in their 30s and 40s based on Korean anthropometric data (사이즈 코리아 인체 측정 자료에 근거한 30~40대 플러스 사이즈 남성의 체형 특성 및 체형)

  • This study utilized data to classify and characterize the body types of plus-size adult men aged in their 30s and 40s. Diversity is an important factor in the era of inclusive design, and discussion about size diversity to include the plus size should be accommodated. Data from 493 adult men classified as obese (with a World Health Organization criterion ≥25 BMI) were used for the analysis. The results of the study are as follows. Six independent factors were extracted using factor analysis for cluster analysis, which were then classified into five types. Type 1 (29.01%) was identified as body type I with the smallest degree of obesity. Type 2 (15.4%) was identified as body type Y with wide shoulders and a thin waist. Type 3 (14.2%) was the largest body volume (body type O), while the fourth (19.27%) identified as body type H has a large height and upper body. Lastly, type 5 (22.11%) has a long lower body and a slim abdomen, referred to as body type X. This study presents a basis for the development of various clothing sizes utilizing the body shape characteristics of plus-size men in their 30s and 40s. Follow-up research is needed to develop patterns for plus size men and to design various products.

Locational Analysis of Rural Industrial Estates and Chonbuk Economic Development Strategies (농공지구 입지분석 : 전라북도의 경우)

  • This research examines the spatial development of rural industrial estates (Nong-gong Jigu) in Chonbuk province and gives insight into the strategies for economic development in the entire region. Selected location factors which are likely to pull new investment into the estates are examined by using questionnaires. Few loction factors except nonlocal factors can be found in explaining why location choices are made. The irrelevance of the analysis based on location factors suggests that an alternative approach should analyze changes in the spatial development of the rural industrial estates. Such an alternative is to understand the dynamics of the spatial organization of production by focusing on characteistics of plant closing in the rural industrial estates. To take into account of the characteristics of plant closing we provide the hypothesized relationships between employment size, organizational structure, inter and intra industrial linkage, characteristics of production processes, and availability of local labor market and the likelihood of closing. A logit model is then made to identify the selected factors which might influence the probability of plant closing. The results from the logit analysis and their implications suggest that the policy should be more concerned with the characteristics of firms, such as size and ownership, as well as of the local labor markets. Given that the Chonbuk region has experienced rapid population decline, together with its poor industrial base, it seems that the success of the policy in the declined rural areas in less certain.
