T-joint 용접부의 형상에 따른 역학적 메카니즘에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Mechanical Mechanism According to the Groove Shape of T-welded Joint)

  • The use of thick plate in increasing in recent years due to the rapid expansion of chemical plants, nuclear plants, ships and other industrial plants. Welding is the most popular joining techniques employed in manufacturing industrial machineries and structures. Normally, Groove shapes are prepared according to appropriate rules and regulations such as KS, JIS, AWS, LR, DNV and etc. for various thicknesses of plate. However those groove angles tend to be too large. As a result of large groove angle, residual stress, deformation of material and strength reduction is obtained. Therefore, the reliability and safety of structures and machinery tend to be decreasing. Therefore, in this paper, theoretical as well as experimental study are carried out to find optimum groove shapes for T-welded joint of mild steel. The test specimen are made in same condition with simulation model. Welding residual stresses measurement by sectional cutting method. ⅰ) The mechanical difference for change the thickness of plate and groove angle are not appeared. ⅱ) In a mechanical point of view minimum preparation angle(40°) is more suitable than maximum groove angle(60℃). ⅲ) The measurement value and distribution of welding residual stresses are not effected largely by groove angle. It is mechanical restraint that mainly affect welding residual stresses distribution. In mechanical point of view minimum groove angle is more suitable than maximum groove angle. Therefore, it is appropriate to minimize the size of groove shape in strength and safety.

  • In sawing operation of synthetic jewelry, the performance of diamond cutter blade is very dependent on the blade variables. This investigation presents ecperimental results which show the effects of the blade variables such as types of diamond abrasives, grain size of diamond, concentration, and bond materials on the beavior of te blades. Based on the experimental results an optimum blade condition for the sawing of cubic zirconia was recommended.

배추의 염장과정 중 성분변화와 조직감의 변화 (Changes in the Chemical Composition and Textural Properties of Korean Cabbage during Salting)

  • 배추의 성분조성 및 조직감의 변화에 대한 염장효과에 대하여 연구하였다. 최적 염장조건을 알아보았으며 원료배추 및 염장배추의 dietary fiber 성분조성 무기질 함량 및 수분함량을 측정하였다. 배추의 조직감은 Rheometer에 의한 cutting test에 의하였으며 아삭아삭한 성질 및 씹힘성은 관능검사에 의해 평가되었다. 배추절임을 위한 최적조건은 절임농도가 20%, 절임시간은 6시간이었다. 배추를 20% NaCl용액에서 한달간 염장에 의한 성분변화에 있어서 HW-P는 43.6%에서 59.5%로 증가하였으며 HM-P는 35.9%에서 29.5%로 감소하였다(P<0.05). 그러나 전체 펙틴함량은 거의 변화하지 않았다. 셀룰로오즈, 헤미셀룰로오즈의 함량은 증가하였으나 리그린 함량은 감소하였는데 유의적인 차이는 없었다. Na함량은 현저히 증가하였으나 Ca, Mg, 및 K 함량은 감소하였다. 또한 수분함량은 91%에서 79%로 감소하였다(p<0.05). 배추를 20% NaCl용액에서 한달간 염장에 의한 조직감의 변화에 있어서 최대절단력 및 절단면적은 각각 5배 및 2.5배로 증가하였으며 관능검사 결과 씹힘성은 높아졌으나 아삭아삭한 성질은 낮아졌다(P<0.05). Rheometer에 의한 조직감 parameter와 높은 상관관계를 나타내었다. 이상의 결과로부터 배추를 20% NaCl 용액에서 한달간 염장과정 중 조직감의 변화는 펙틴질 함량, 수분함량 및 무기질 함량의 변화와 관련이 있으나 셀룰로오즈, 헤미셀룰로오즈 및 리그린 함량과는 비교적 관련이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 cutting test에 의한 최대 절단력이 배추의 조직감을 표현하는 좋은 방법이라고 생각되어진다.

단순 기어형상의 셰이빙가공에 있어서 작업 변수의 영향 (Influence of Working Variables in Simplified Gear Shaving Process)

  • Shaving technology is one of the significant metal forming technologies which can make the smooth and fine sheared surface of products after shearing process. The sheared surface on the side wall of the cutting edge is very important because it functions as a basic surface for measuring the dimensions of product. Effective sheared surface after shaving can be influenced by several working variables such as shaving allowance, shaving clearance, type of material and profile of cutting edge. The influence of these variables on shaving characteristics was investigated in this study. A cut-off die to make the simplified gear-shaped products was manufactured. Three kinds of sheet metals (AL5052, SPCC and SAPH440) of 3mm thickness were firstly sheared and then shaved for four shaving allowances and three sharing clearances. It was shown through experiments that the optimum working condition to give the maximum effective sheared surface in shaving was found ; Shaving allowance is 0.2mm and Shaving clearance is 0.01mm.

강낭콩의 적정 침지조건과 조리특성의 비교 (Comparison on Optimum Soaking Condition and Cooking Properteis of Korean Kidney Beans)

  • 침지 중 강남콩의 절단력은 적색종>분홍색종>백색종의 순으로 컸으나, $10^{\circ}C에서\;10시간,\;20^{\circ}C에서\;8시간,\;30^{\circ}C에서\;6시간,\;40^{\circ}C$에서 3시간 침지한 경우에는 품종에 관계없이 동일한 절단력을 보였다. 동일한 절단력을 나타내는 조건($10^{\circ}C에서\;10시간,\;20^{\circ}C에서\;8시간,\;10^{\circ}C에서\;6시간,\;10^{\circ}C$에서 3시간)을 적정 침지조건으로 하여 침지한 강낭콩의 조리완료 시간은 침지조건에 관계없이 분홍색종이 23분, 적색종이 25분, 백색종이 27분이었다. 조리속도는 침지조건에 관계없이 비슷하엿으나 분홍색종>적색종>백색종의 순으로 컸다. 고형분 용출량은 침지조건과 품종에 관계없이 비슷한 값을 보였으나, 품종에 관계없이 $30^{\circ}C$에서는 최대의 고형분 용출량을, $10^{\circ}C$에서는 최소한 고형분 용출량을 나타내었으며, 백색종은 침지온도 $10^{\circ}C$에서 10시간 침지시 다른 침지조건 보다 고형분 용출량이 훨씬 적어 차이를 보였다.조리액의 색도는 적색종>분홍색종>백색종의 순으로 흡광도가 높았고, 조리시 강낭콩의 최대 흡광도는 분홍색종과 적색종은 490nm였고 백색종은 330nm였으며, 강낭콩 분홍색종과 적색종이 침지조건에는 관계없이 동일한 흡광도를 보였으나, 침지온도 $10^{\circ}C$에서 10시간 침지한 분홍색종은 흡광도가 낮아 특이한 패턴을 보였다.

비선형 회귀분석에 의한 엔드밀 가공조건에 따른 Al7075의 표면정도 예측 (Prediction of Surface Roughness of Al7075 on End-Milling Working Conditions by Non-linear Regression Analysis)

  • Recently, the End-milling processing is needed the high-precise technique to get a good surface roughness and rapid time in manufacturing of precision machine parts and electronic parts. The optimum surface roughness has an effect on end-milling working condition such as, cutting direction, spindle speed, feed rate and depth of cut, and so on. It needs to form the correlation of working conditions and surface roughness. Therefore this study was carried out to presume of surface roughness on end-milling working condition of Al7075 by regression analysis. The results was shown that the coefficient of determination($R^2$) of regression equation had a fine reliability of 87.5% and nonlinear regression equation of surface rough was made by multiple regression analysis.

고속회전을 이용한 마이크로 엔드밀의 가공특성 (Machining characteristics of micro end-mill using high revolution)

  • 최근 마이크로 엔드밀을 이용한 가공은 소형구조물이나 소형기계의 부품과 금형산업에서 양호한 표면 거칠기와 가공시간의 단축을 위해 고정도의 기술을 요구하고 있다. 마이크로 엔드밀을 이용한 가공에 있어서 가공조건은 절삭면의 표면거칠기에 커다란 영향을 미치게 된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 마이크로 엔드밀을 이용하여 스테인리스 강(STS 304)의 표면을 가공하였고, 실험계획법에 의해 최적의 표면거칠기를 얻기 위한 가공조건에 대해 분산분석하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 마이크로 엔드밀에 의한 가공에서 가공조건은 절삭깊이, 스핀들의 회전수, 이송속도의 순서로 표면거칠기에 영향을 미치는 것을 알았다.

  • In this research, to study tungsten carbide alloy(Co 0.5%) ultra precision turning possibility that is used Glass Molding Press(GMP) using conventional (Rake angle $-25^{\circ}$) single crystal diamond bite observed machining surface condition, surface roughness($R_a$), diamond bite cutting edge after tungsten carbide alloy ultra precision turning. Suggested and designed optimum chamfer bite shape to suggest ultra precision optimum bite using Finite Element Analysis(FEM). After machining tungsten carbide alloy ultra precision turning using optimum chamfer bite and comparing with conventional bite machine result and studied optimum chamfer bite design inspection and also tungsten carbide ultra precision turning possibility for high temperature compression glass lens molding.

선삭에서 절삭계의 동적안정성 향상에 관한 연구 (Dynamic Stability of Cutting System in Lathe Turning)

  • Chatter is a relative vibration between workpiece and tool in machining of metals, and is an important limiting factor of production rate and surface quality, and also reduces the life of machine-tool itself and its tool. In this study, in order to suppress the machining chatter, the spring and the rubber damper are adopted to the tool post of a lathe. The results obtained in this experimental study are summarized as follows. 1. The spring and the damper employed in the tool post for the suppression of chatter increase the maximum chatter-free depth of cut and optimum values found for spring constant and compressive strain are 95kg/mm, 0.1954 respectively. 2. On the optimum condition resulting in this experimental study, the modified tool post increased 6 times in the maximum chatter-free depth of cut as compared with the conventional tool post.

WC-Co의 고품위 평면 연삭가공 (Surface grinding of WC-Co with high quality)

  • Presently, abrasive processing is on eof several methods for cutting and grinding brittle materials, and high quality in dimensional accuracy and surface roughness are often required as a structural components, therefore most of them has to be ground. In manufacturing of tungsten-carbide components, grinding by diamond wheel is usually adopted in order to provide configurational and dimensional accuracy to the components. The present study proposes the experi- mental research of optimum condition to the high quality surface grinding of the WC-Co material using diamond abrasive wheel in order to minimize the damage on the ground surface and to pursue the precise dimension by conventional grinding machine. Brief investigation is carried out to decrease the dressing is constant, theoretical grinding effect such as machining precision is changed according to the speed of workpiece. Accordingly, normal and tangential grinding forces, which are Fn, Ft were analyzed for the machining processes of WC-Co material to obtain optimum grinding conditions, 3-point bending test is carried out to check machining damage on the ground surface layer, which is one of sintered brittle materials.
