119구급대원의 폭력경험과 탄력성이 소진에 미치는 영향 (Association of Violent Experience and Resilience with Burnout in Emergency Medical Technicians)

  • Purpose: This descriptive correlational study investigated the effects of violent experience and resilience on burnout in emergency medical technicians (EMTs). Methods: The participants were 160 EMTs working in fire stations (safety center and local center) located in U, B, and D city. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, independent t-test, ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test post-hoc analysis, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics 20.0. Results: The number of EMTs getting into ambulances was significantly associated with violent experience, resilience, and burnout. Position of EMTs was significantly associated with both resilience and burnout. In the multiple regression analysis, the subscales of durability and optimism in resilience were significantly associated with burnout after controlling for confounding variables. Conclusion: This study indicated that improving durability and optimism in resilience was important to cope with experience of violence and to prevent burnout in EMTs.

임상 간호사의 긍정심리역량이 소진에 미치는 영향 (Factors Affecting Burnout among Clinical Nurses according to Positive Psychological Capital)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze factors affecting burnout among clinical nurses according to Positive Psychological Capital. Methods: The study design was a descriptive survey and questionnaires were collected from 412 clinical nurses who worked in a general hospital in "J" city. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, independent t-test, One-way ANOVA, Scheff$\acute{e}$ test, Pearson Correlation, and hierarchical multiple regression. Results: In Model individual characteristics accounted for 27.8% of the influence on burnout. In model II with the addition of the 4 factors; Self-efficacy, Hope, Resilience, Optimism, individual characteristics accounted for 48.5% of the influence on burnout. Optimism and Resilience of the Positive Psychological Capital sub-variables were statistically useful as factors influencing burnout. Conclusion: The results indicate that it is necessary to develop active human resource management and educational programs to decrease burnout and strengthen the Positive Psychological Capital of the nurses.

치위생과 학생들의 긍정적 착각과 구강건강증진행위간의 관계 (Relationship between Positive Illusions and Oral Health Promotion Behaviors in Dental Hygiene Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to reveal relationship between positive illusions and oral health promotion behaviors. Positive illusions was composed of positive self-perception, exaggerated sense of personal control, and unrealistic optimism. We thought these factors affect to the oral health behaviors. For this study, 307 collegians in Ulsan, Yangsan are participated in this study. The data was subjected to confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling with SPSS 18.0, AMOS 18.0. In conclusion, we obtained the next results. First, positive illusions has a statistically significant with oral health promotion in correlation analysis(p<0.05). Second, Structural equation modeling fit index was well fitted as $X^2$=100, df=112, P=0.893, RMR=0.021, GFI=0.969, AGFI=0.943. Only positive self-perception and exaggerated sense of control has a statistically significant(P<0.05). Third, the group of the highest positive illusions has a statistically significant in all factors(P<0.05), the other hand, the group of the lowest positive illusions has not statistically significant in all factors(P>0.05). So, as this results we concluded that the self-confident or activated persons were very well performed in oral health promotion behaviors.

Do Auditor's Efforts of Interim Review Curb the Analyst Forecast's Walkdown?

  • This study examines whether auditors restrain the analysts' opportunistic behavior as reviewing the companies' interim reports. Analysts' forecasts show a walkdown pattern in which their optimism has decreased as the earnings announcement date has approached. At the beginning of the year, there is a lack of high-quality benchmark information that enables information users to judge the accuracy of analyst's earnings forecasts. Thus, early in the year, analysts are highly inspired to disseminate optimistic forecasts in order to gain manager's favor. In this study, we examine adequate benchmarks prevent analysts from disclosing optimistically biased forecasts. We conjecture that auditors' efforts might mitigate analysts' walkdown pattern. To test this hypothesis, we use data from Korea, where it is mandatory to disclose auditor's review hours. We find that the analyst forecast's walkdown decreases with the ratio as well as the number of audit hours. It implies that an auditor's effort in reviewing interim financial information has a monitoring function that reduces analysts' opportunistic optimism at the beginning of the year. We conjecture that the tendency will be more pronounced when BIG4 auditors review the interim reports. Consistent with the prediction, BIG4 auditors' interim review effort is more effective in suppressing the analysts' walkdown.

Does Individual Investors' Sentiment Explain Japanese IPO Aftermarket Performance?

  • This study examines the influence of individual investors' sentiment on Japanese IPO aftermarket performance (measured by return and trading volume on the first trading day and return on the first trading year). This study proposes that IPOs will be, on average overpriced on the listing day when individual investors' sentiment is highly optimistic. Higher initial return and trading volume are expected in IPOs with higher investors' optimism. Further, the positive initial return will occur in the short term as individual investors usually are uninformed investors who demand shares based on their personal preferences, which will last only in a short period. Following the overvaluation hypothesis, price reversals should be predicted once the effect of individual investors' optimism has disappeared, causing the IPOs to underperform in the long term. Using 520 Japanese IPOs issued from January 2010 to December 2019, this study reveals that individual investors' sentiment is positively and significantly related to returns and trading volume on the first trading day. Return reversals are found on the first trading year despite the insignificant influence of individual investors' sentiment on IPO return on the first trading year.

Behavioral Biases on Investment Decision: A Case Study in Indonesia

  • A shift in perspective from standard finance to behavioral finance has taken place in the past two decades that explains how cognition and emotions are associated with financial decision making. This study aims to investigate the influence of various psychological factors on investment decision-making. The psychological factors that are investigated are differentiated into two aspects, cognitive and emotional aspects. From the cognitive aspect, we examine the influence of anchoring, representativeness, loss aversion, overconfidence, and optimism biases on investor decisions. Meanwhile, from the emotional aspect, the influence of herding behavior on investment decisions is analyzed. A quantitative approach is used based on a survey method and a snowball sampling that result in 165 questionnaires from individual investors in Yogyakarta. Further, we use the One-Sample t-test in testing all hypotheses. The research findings show that all of the variables, anchoring bias, representativeness bias, loss aversion bias, overconfidence bias, optimism bias, and herding behavior have a significant effect on investment decisions. This result emphasizes the influence of behavioral factors on investor's decisions. It contributes to the existing literature in understanding the dynamics of investor's behaviors and enhance the ability of investors in making more informed decision by reducing all potential biases.

인공지능 시스템 도입에 있어서 기술 준비도가 콜센터 상담사들의 사용 의도에 미치는 구조적인 영향: AICC(인공지능 컨택 센터)를 중심으로 (The Structural Impact of Technology Readiness on Call Center Counselors' Intention to Use in the Introduction of Artificial Intelligence Systems: Focusing on AICC(Artificial Intelligence Contact Center))

  • This study is a study on the effect of technical readiness factors on counselors' intention to use when applying AICC. AICC counselors experience improved customer service and emotional stability by receiving various monitor notification window services based on artificial intelligence algorithms such as customer counseling history, prohibited word control system, and customized counseling system. Accordingly, this study tried to verify using factors derived from technology readiness theory and technology acceptance theory among the factors affecting the intention to continue using AICC provided to counselors. To verify the research hypothesis, the causal relationship between variables such as Optimism, Innovativeness, Discomfort, Insecurity, and Technology Acceptance Theory, such as Team Support, Ease of Usage, and Innovation Resistance, was verified. As a result of empirical analysis, first, it was verified that Optimism has a positive (+) effect on Team Support and Ease of Usage, and Discomfort and Insecurity have a negative (-) effect on Ease of Usage and Team Support. Second, it was confirmed that Team Support and Ease of Usage had a positive effect on the Intention to use AICC. Based on the above empirical analysis results, the concepts of Technical Readiness were clearly proved, and in practical terms, AICC helped inquiry, quality evaluation, recording, and management of counseling history, ultimately increased corporate work efficiency.

중국인 근로자의 긍정심리자본이 조직몰입과 직무만족에 미치는 영향 - 긍정적 정서의 매개효과 - (The Effects of Positive Psychological Capital on Organizational Commitment and Job Satisfaction - The Mediating Role of Positive Emotion -)

  • 본 연구에서는 중국 현지에 근무하는 중국인 종업원들을 대상으로 하여 긍정심리자본이 조직몰입과 직무만족에 미치는 영향 및 긍정적 정서를 통한 간접효과가 있는지 검증하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 문헌연구 및 실증연구를 실시하였다. 선행연구에 근거하여 긍정심리자본은 자기효능감, 희망, 낙관주의, 복원력의 네 가지 하위변수로 측정하였으며 조직몰입, 직무만족, 긍정적 정서와의 관계를 근거로 연구가설을 설정하였다. 실증연구를 위하여 중국 현지기업의 종업원 350명으로부터 설문조사를 실시하였고 수집한 결과를 통계분석하였다. 분석 결과, 자기효능감, 희망, 낙관주의, 복원력으로 구성된 긍정심리자본은 조직몰입과 직무만족, 그리고 긍정적 정서에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 주고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 긍정심리자본이 조직몰입과 직무만족에 미치는 영향은 직접효과에 더해 긍정적 정서를 통한 간접효과가 있는 것으로 나타났으며 따라서 긍정적 정서의 매개효과에 관한 가설은 지지되었다. 본 연구결과를 통해 과도한 경쟁에 따른 피로감과 스트레스를 경험하는 중국인 종업원들의 조직몰입과 직무만족을 가져오기 위해서 긍정심리자본과 긍정적 정서의 역할이 중요함을 확인하였다. 또한 긍정적 정서의 매개효과를 검증함으로 긍정심리자본이 조직몰입과 직무만족에 미치는 과정에 대해 더 깊은 이해를 할 수 있게 되었다.

  • 본 연구는 긍정심리자본(자기효능감, 낙관주의, 희망, 복원력)이 직무만족을 매개로 조직 동일시와 태만행동에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 한다. 이를 통해 긍정심리자본이 어떤 경로를 통해 조직 동일시, 태만행동에 영향을 미치는지를 통합적으로 알아보고자 한다. 부산 소재 금융업을 대상으로 공변량 구조방정식 모형을 통해 실증 분석을 하였다. 실증분석 결과 첫째, 긍정심리자본 중 자기효능감, 희망, 복원력이 직무만족에 정(+)의 유의적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 그 중에서 희망이 직무만족에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 낙관주의는 직무만족에 유의적인 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 직무만족이 조직 동일시에 정(+)의 유의적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 셋째, 직무만족이 태만행동에 부(-)의 유의적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 긍정심리자본과 조직 동일시 및 태만행동의 관계에서 직무만족의 매개효과를 살펴본 결과 희망과 태만행동의 관계에서 직무만족의 매개효과를 제외하고 모두 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 끝으로 본 연구의 요약 및 시사점, 한계점 그리고 미래 연구방향을 제시하였다.

간호대학생을 위한 긍정심리 증진 프로그램 개발 및 효과성 연구 (Development and Effects of Positive Psychology Promoting Program for Undergraduate Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생을 위한 긍정심리 증진 프로그램을 개발하고 적용하여 프로그램의 효과를 알아보고자 시도하였다. 연구방법은 비동등성 대조군 전후설계의 유사실험 연구이며, 자료수집 기간은 2019년 6월 22일에서 9월 4일까지이다. 연구대상자는 D시와 P시에 소재한 2개 대학의 간호대학생 37명이며, 실험군 18명, 대조군 19명이다. 긍정심리 증진 프로그램은 총 6주간 주 2회, 총 12회기로 회당 100분~120분으로 운영하였다. 자료분석 방법은 SPSS/WIN 21.0 program을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, 𝑥2 test, repeated measure ANOVA와 paired t-test로 분석하였다. 연구결과는 긍정심리 증진 프로그램을 실시한 후 시기와 집단 간 교호작용을 분석한 결과, 낙관성(F=16.74, p<.001), 심리적 안녕감(F=14.69, p<.001) 및 스트레스 대처전략(문제해결 중심 대처 F=4.35, p=.015, 사회적 지지 추구 대처 F=3.87, p=.028)에서 시기와 집단 간의 교호작용에 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 즉, 긍정심리 증진 프로그램은 간호대학생의 낙관성, 심리적 안녕감 및 스트레스 대처전략(문제해결중심, 사회적지지 추구)의 향상에 효과가 확인되었다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 간호대학생의 정신건강을 위한 긍정심리증진 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초자료로 활용되기를 기대한다.
