NAF와 타입 II 최적정규기저를 이용한 $GF(2^n)$ 상의 효율적인 지수승 연산 (NAP and Optimal Normal Basis of Type II and Efficient Exponentiation in $GF(2^n)$)

  • 지수의 signed digit representation을 사용하여 타입 II 최적정규기저에 의해 결정되는 $GF(2^n)$상의 효율적인 지수승 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 signed digit representation은 $GF(2^n)$에서 non-adjacent form(NAF)를 사용한다. 일반적으로 signed digit representation은 정규기저가 주어진 경우 사용하기 어렵다. 이는 정규 원소의 역원연산이 상당한 지연시간을 갖기 때문이다. 반면에 signed digit representation은 다항식 기저를 이용한 체에 쉽게 적용가능하다. 하지만 본 논문의 결과는 타입 II 최적정규기저(optimal normal basis, ONB), 라는 특별한 정규 기저가 지수의 signed digit representation을 이용한 효율적인 지수승 연산에 이용될 수 있음을 보인다.

기반의 조화운동을 받는 감쇠선형진동계의 최적 복합동흡진기에 관한 연구 (A Study on Optimal Multi-dynamic Absorber of Damped Linear Vibration System under the Harmonic Motion of the Base)

  • A dynamic absorber is used to protect the primary vibration system under the steady-state harmonic disturbance. In a number of cases it appears expedient to install several absorbers of smaller masses instead of one. This may be due to the need of distribute the absorber's response along the construction, restrictions on the absorber's installation. So, we studied characteristics of the primary vibration system for the optimal natural frequency ratio and the optimal damping ratio of serial multi-dynamic absorber. Also we obtained the optimum values of the serial multi-dynamic absorber parameters using computer simulation for the damped primary vibration system. In designing multi-dynamic absorber, we presented for the optimal natural frequency and the optimal damping ratio of multi-dynamic absorbers.

  • A deterministic capacity expansion planning model for a two-capacity type facility is analyzed to determine the sizes to be expanded in each period so as to supply the known demands for two distinct capacity type(product) on time and to minimize the total cost incurred over a finite planning horizon of T periods. The model assumes that capacity unit of the facility simultaneously serves a prespecified number of demand units of each capacity type, that capacity type 1 can be used to supply demands for capacity type 2, but that capacity type 2 can't be used to supply demands for capacity type 1. Capacity expansion and excess capacity holding cost functions considered are nondecreasing and concave. The structure of an optimal solution is characterized and then used in developing an efficient dynamic programming algorithm that finds optimal capacity planning policy.

Fundamental framework toward optimal design of product platform for industrial three-axis linear-type robots

  • This paper discusses an optimization-based approach for the design of a product platform for industrial three-axis linear-type robots, which are widely used for handling objects in manufacturing lines. Since the operational specifications of these robots, such as operation speed, working distance and orientation, weight and shape of loads, etc., will vary for different applications, robotic system vendors must provide various types of robots efficiently and effectively to meet a range of market needs. A promising step toward this goal is the concept of a product platform, in which several key elements are commonly used across a series of products, which can then be customized for individual requirements. However the design of a product platform is more complicated than that of each product, due to the need to optimize the design across many products. This paper proposes an optimization-based fundamental framework toward the design of a product platform for industrial three-axis linear-type robots; this framework allows the solution of a complicated design problem and builds an optimal design method of fundamental features of robot frames that are commonly used for a wide range of robots. In this formulation, some key performance metrics of the robot are estimated by a reducedorder model which is configured with beam theory. A multi-objective optimization problem is formulated to represent the trade-offs among key design parameters using a weighted-sum form for a single product. This formulation is integrated into a mini-max type optimization problem across a series of robots as an optimal design formulation for the product platform. Some case studies of optimal platform design for industrial three-axis linear-type robots are presented to demonstrate the applications of a genetic algorithm to such mathematical models.

  • This study is concerned with the optimal design of DC reactor type high-Tc superconducting fault current limiter(SFCL) by Newton method. What should be first thought over in developing SFCL is the condition in which the cost function is minimized under given constraints. So, this condition is supposed to be the values corresponding to the variables the cost function counts on. In this paper, we got the result for the SFCL available at the level of 6.6kV-200A by means of simulation.

  • The purpose of this paper is study the sensitivity analysis of matrix game. Teh sensitivity analysis of matrix is classified into two types. Type one is to find the characteristic region of an element of the pay off matrix in which the value of the current optimal strategy remains as an optimum. Type two is to find that in which the basis of the current optimal strategy does not change. This paper shows the characteristic regions of basic and nonbasic strategies. Further it is found that the characteristic regions of type one and two are same in the case that the element is that of at least one player's nonbasic strategy.

  • The evaluation test for the operation of rotary type surface mounters which consist of the reel axis, the index table and the X-Y table, has been performed by comparing the new method with the old one in only fields. Because the problem seeking for the optimal operation of rotary type surface mounters, is NP complete, it is almost impossible to get the optimal solutions of large problems. This paper deals with a dynamic network modeling, which can reduce the effort, the cost, and the time used for the performance test of rotary type surface mounters.

  • This paper introduces the experimental analysis of the resonator in the rolling piston type compressor for air conditioner. The resonator located between cylinder and bearing is a major factor in the noise reduction of the rotary compressor. Several shapes for the resonator which can be built in the space limitations are derived. Then optimal resonator type for the noise reduction is determined by noise tests. 6 design parameters of the type are found and optimal level for each design factor is deduced from Taguchi method.

  • 본 논문에서는 확률 최적 제어문제에서 발생되는 Elliptic type H-J-B(Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman) 방정식에 대한 수치해를 구하였다. 수치해를 구하기 위하여 Contraction 사상 및 유한차분법을 이용하였으며, 시스템은 It/sub ∧/ 형태의 Stochastic 방정식으로 취하였다. 수치해는 수학적인 테스트 케이스를 설정하여 검증하였으며, 최적제어 Map을 방정식의 해를 구하면서 동시에 구하였다.
