Marine accidents do not correspond with another accidents because of a serious loss of lives and property. The many marine accidents can be attributed to human error like as carelessness and decision faults, and hence there is a strong need for decision-support tools for marine navigation. Much of researchers have introduced the techniques about the tools, but they hardly consider environmental factors (water depth, the width of waterway, a fishing ground, a current, the number of surrounding marine accidents, marine obstacles, etc), which are very important to the decision making of officers. In a previous research, we proposed the conceptual model of environmental risk assessment of ship navigation using fuzzy. This paper describes the detailed design of the environmental factors based on the opinion of navigation experts, and shows the validity of the conceptual model through a prototype system.

Where should a plant or service facility be located? The decision is crucial since the capital investment in land, factory construction, and facility is enormous. Once a firm has sunk a large sum of money into a factory, it lives with the decision for a long time. In this age of global markets and global production, this is a key decision problem for contemporary manufacturing and/or service. Using data from Korean and Chinese managers and the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process), this paper did study on the actual condition for identifying the differences of opinion between the two group's(Shanghai and Shenyang managers) in how to make decisions on the location problems. Since this study was carried out during recent global economy recession, and the limitation of the collected questionnaires, it is hard to avoid the possibility for those managers to show different view from their ordinary times. Nevertheless, this paper will provide managers with useful informations on successful facility location in China.

The industrial structure comes to be complicated and for the production of the enterprise the rational and scientific forecast is necessary. The demand forecast has been widely used to linear regression, and up to now the linear regression was sharp the relationskp between then dependent variable and the independent variables. But, The real society demands accurate demand forecast from uncertain environment and subjective concept. This paper proposes the demand quantity forecast method to using of the fuzzy linear regression in uncertain and vague environment. Also, the optimum decision making of the demand quantity forecast uses integral calculus of the Sugeno to reflecting with the expert's (inventory manager) opinion.

The transformation of the processes of governance using the Information and Communication Technologies is aimed at bringing in faster and transparent service delivery, accountability, information sharing and people participation in the decision-making and government processes. The implementation of e-Government requires a comprehensive strategy that is not only sensitive to existing political and economic conditions and realities but is also benchmarked on global best practices. The article reviews the handbook E-Government and Governance Efficiency that provides an insight to research that is being undertaken in the e-Government area, gives an in-depth understanding of critical issues involved in e-Government, and provides expert opinion and recommendations for the Republic of Belarus to augment its potential. It studies the Korean experience on e-Government with special focus on such concepts as e-Government benchmarking, mGovernment, Smart Government and u-Government.

The purpose of this study was to investigate children and their mothers'purchasing behaviors for children's clothing. A self-administered questionnaire survey was conducted to 640 students(5, 6th graders) and their mothers in the elementary schools in Seoul; 517 were used for the data analysis. Most children wanted to have clothing when they feel not having proper clothing to wear. When parents purchased a clothing, female students more actively expressed her opinion than male students. The comfort was the most important criteria by children about new clothing, and children most complained of monotonous style for their clothing after using the clothing. Mothers usually bought children clothing in changing season. The most important evaluatived criterion was design. The lower level of mothers'clothing interest had less complain than other groups about children's clothing.

This research focus on the economic activity as consumer and producer traits of future customers in the convergence age. We assess level of convergence for digital devices and services respectively by questionnaire survey and interview for 14 professions. And then, for evaluating convergence level and usage of digital services of each respondents, we conducted the questionnaire survey for 343 samples. Findings of our research hold that the group who showed higher level of convergence tends to use the socialized digital services more. Convergence generation were heavy users in appstore on smart-phone and wireless game and more participating. In digital service area, facebook/cyworld, twitter, UCC, portal, internet community in digital service. Convergence generation are global network communication, buying decision making activity, actively opinion expression, prosumer attitude, dependency on digital device, experience based purchase behavior, enthusiastic information sharing.

A inventory management system of the manufacturing industry has a model of different kinds according to the objective and the situation. A inventory management system needs superior system technique in demand forecast, economical efficiency, reliability and application for stable supply of the finished goods, the raw materials and the parts. This paper proposes a demand forecast method based on fuzzy structured neural network, which uses min-operation and trapezoid membership function of fuzzy rules. So we can have an intelligent inventory management system for optimized decision-making of forecasting data with expert's opinion in fuzzy environment. This inventory management system used an intelligence agent and it could be adapted to asystemenvironmentchangeinorder.

A survey regarding ozone abatement policies and measures was conducted for 230 residents in Seoul. The main survey results of public opinion indicated that it would be better to devise new effective plans of public relation to citizen, and that national strategies for the ozone pollution abatement should be reevaluated and made up for the weak point. Especially, it would be necessary to provide for citizens precise and/or specific information regarding ozone pollution issue and guideline how to reduce ozone pollution from the household.

Purpose - This study aims to predict the audit reports of listed companies on the Tehran Stock Exchange by using meta-heuristic algorithms. Research design, data, methodology - This applied research aims to predict auditors reports' using meta-heuristic methods (i.e., neural networks, the ANFIS, and a genetic algorithm). The sample includes all firms listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange. The research covers the seven years between 2005 and 2011. Results - The results show that the ANFIS model using fuzzy clustering and a least-squares back propagation algorithm has the best performance among the tested models, with an error rate of 4% for incorrect predictions and 96% for correct predictions. Conclusion - A decision tree was used with ten independent variables and one dependent variable the less important variables were removed, leaving only those variables with the greatest effect on auditor opinion (i.e., net-profit-to-sales ratio, current ratio, quick ratio, inventory turnover, collection period, and debt coverage ratio).

Purpose: The purpose of this literature review was to describe the roles of advanced practice nurses related to advance directives. Methods: A comprehensive literature review was conducted utilizing Pubmed, Ovid, and CINAHL. The key words for search were 'advance directives', 'living wills', 'durable power of attorney', 'advanced practice nursing', 'advanced practice nurse', 'nurse practitioner', and 'nurse specialist'. Research articles published between January 1990 and September 2010 and written in English were included. Review papers and expert's opinion were excluded. Results: Five articles were yielded and analyzed. Among them, two focused on the advanced practice nurses' role during the process of advance directives. The other three presented the outcomes depending on the type of nurses' involvement in each health care delivery system. Conclusion: Recently, Korea established advance directives and expanded to diverse sites. Advanced practice nurses' role in the advance directive decision-making process should be examined and developed in research and practice.
