고집적 SRAM Cell의 동작안정화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Stability of High Density SRAM Cell))

  • Based on the popular 4-transistor SRAM cell, an analytical expression of the minimum cell ratio was derived by modeling the static read operation. By analyzing the relatively simple expression for the minimum cell ratio, which was derived assuming the ideal transistor characteristics, effects of the changes in supply voltage and process parameters on the minimum cell ratio was predicted, and the minimum power supply voltage for read operation was determined. The results were verified by simulations utilizing the suggested simulation method, which is suitable for monitoring the lower limit of supply voltage for proper cell operation. From the analysis, it was shown that the worst condition for cell operation is low temperature and low supply voltage, and that the operation margin can be effectively improved by reducing the threshold voltage of the cell transistors.

  • This paper addresses the operation, problems, and development policy of Gwangyang Port, Korea. This paper aims to analyze the operation condition and problems of Gwangyang Port and suggest long-term policies for developing Gwangyang Port as a logistic hub in northeast period. It is made up of three main sections: the operation, problems, and forecast of freight volumes; analysis of operational results of Gwangyang Port; development strategies of Gwangyang Port as a Logistics Hub. This paper was mainly based on a review of current papers/reports, an analysis of secondary data, and questionnaire survey. The major development strategies identified consisted of expansion regular service sea-route, formation of inter-modal transportation system, strengthening of port sales for Gwangyang port's recognition, securing operation-profits by fixed cargo volume, and promotion of free tread zone.

  • Tidal regime change with general hydrolic condition change is examined, according to Garolim Tidal Power Plant (TPP) operation. Numerical model has been developed for the Yellow and East China Seas region, in order to consider the tidal regime change by the TPP operation. The changes of tidal elevation and tidal current inside the Garolim bay are also investigated in details, along with examining the change of the tidal flat area with operation. The field measurement for the tide and current have been carried out for the validation of the numerical model and for understanding the state of current system in the present state.

  • Bimodal tram is being developed to be completed in 2010 and the infrastructure needs to be developed to make the operation in time. Through the study of infrastructure reflecting domestic condition, dedicated lane, station, connection center, automated operation, precise docking, ticketing system, information system, management system for operation and maintenance, and refueling station will be developed and their performances will be also verified through the construction of test bed. The economical, safe and environment-friendly operation of the bimodal tram will be established through the present study.

  • The importance of maintenance of rail surface defects is increasing more according to the KTX operation. That is because during high speed operation of rolling stock, rail surface defects may cause shortened fatigue life of rail, acceleration of track degradation and reduced ride comfort. The paper was intended to study the establishment of rail grinding criteria of high-speed railway lines considering the KTX operation circumstances. For this, the specimens of UIC 60 rail on Kyeong-Bu high-speed operation lines were collected and they were analyzed for metallographic structure and tested for the hardness. By analyzing the test results to the factors affecting the RCF causing the defects of rail surface, the study suggested the rail grinding criteria of the domestic high speed railway lines. As the factors affecting RCF, passing tonnage, running speed and track condition are considered.

  • The productivity of container terminal is determined by its various operation methods. This paper aims at finding out the factors to enhance the productivity of container handling of quay crane, using simulation technique. Three levels of decision making in terminal operation, strategy, and tactics and operation are selected for defining parameters of simulation The result of the simulation and test shows that the significant factors to improve the productivity are the stack height of container, block dispersion and the distance in yard planning for shipment. Decision making in the operation level, however, is of significance in the mixed condition of strategic and tactical level. The result shows meaningful guidelines in decision making under strategic, tactical and operation level.

  • LRT System Application Project is performed for the purpose of technical advancement and stabilization of K-AGT system from the viewpoint of practical use and commercialization. For those purpose, the performance test and evaluation procedure for signaling system have been developed, including the scheme of verifying the performance and function of signaling system under driverless multiple train operation environment. In this paper, multiple train operation scheme in K-AGT test line is presented. Test schemes for maintaining the safety distance between trains, operation scenario considering shunting and turning of train, and dia operation schemes in test line are reviewed while researching test vehicle features, route condition and running pattern. Additional equipments for testing each scheme are also reviewed.

  • This paper proposes a reduction method for the mis-operation analysis of the DC High Speed Circuit Breaker(HSCB) in electric railway substation system. The analysis method is based on present condition of operation which is a method for accuracy level up. There is reason to operation of HSCB that it is mis-operation of fault detection relay(50F), operation of ground fault relay(64P), and trouble of electric car. A countermeasure is relay resetting through field test, induction of GTOCB(Gate Turn Off Thyristor Circuit Breaker), HSVCB(High Speed Vacuum Circuit Breaker), coordination with electric car. The results presented in the paper can be used as a reference for maintenance free in electric railway substation system.

  • The autonomous microgrid is a system that is autonomously operated depending on the grid and internal load condition, without the operator's intervention. In this study, a control algorithm for the microsource and an operation algorithm for the microgrid are proposed to realize the autonomous microgrid system. In addition, a microgrid operation system based on the operation algorithm is proposed. The electromagnetic transient program is used by the proposed microsource control algorithm for simulation, and the validity of the algorithm is verified. The proposed operation system is verified based on a case study using a simulator and test devices.
