Background: The concrete walls inside the vaults of cyclotron facilities are activated by neutrons emitted by the targets during radioisotope production. Reducing the amount of radioactive waste created in such facilities is very important in case they are decommissioned. Thus, we proposed a strategy of reducing the neutron activation of the concrete walls in cyclotrons during operation. Materials and Methods: A polyethylene plate and B-doped Al sheet (30 wt% of B and 2.5 mm in thickness) were placed in front of the wall in the cyclotron room of a radioisotope production facility for pharmaceutical use. The target was Xe gas, and a Cu block was utilized for proton dumping. The irradiation time, proton energy, and beam current were 8 hours, 30 MeV, and $125{\mu}A$, respectively. To determine a suitable thickness for the polyethylene plate set in front of the B-doped Al sheet, the neutron-reducing effects achieved by inserting such sheets at several depths within polyethylene plate stacks were evaluated. The neutron fluence was monitored using an activation detector and 20-g on de Au foil samples with and without 0.5-mm-thick Cd foil. Each Au foil sample was pasted onto the center of a polyethylene plate and B-doped Al sheet, and the absolute activity of one Au foil sample was measured as a standard using a Ge detector. The resulting relative activities were obtained by calculating the ratio of the photostimulated luminescence of each foil sample to that of the standard Au foil. Results and Discussion: When the combination of a 4-cm-thick polyethylene plate and B-doped Al sheet was employed, the thermal neutron rate was reduced by 78%. Conclusion: The combination of a 4-cm-thick polyethylene plate and B-doped Al sheet effectively reduced the neutron activation of the investigated concrete wall.

본 연구는 의료용 선형가속기 사용에 따른 차폐벽과 가속기 주변 부품의 방사화에 대한 평가를 수행하였다. 평가방법은 에너지 20 MV와 가동시간 1 일부터 ~ 30 년까지 각각 모의실험을 진행 하였으며, 평가부분은 선형가속기 헤드 부분과 차폐벽을 이루고 있는 콘크리트에 대하여 실험을 진행하였다. 그 결과, 중성자 양은 광자가 생성되는 타깃을 중심으로 거리에 따라 중성자가 분포하는 것으로 분석되었다. 특히 타깃의 중성자 플럭스는 9.19E+08 개/$cm^2$/sec로 가장 높게 나타났다. 차폐벽은 상대적으로 타깃과 인접한 부분이 높게 분석되었으며, 그 값은 28967 개/$cm^2$/sec로 계산되었다. 이를 바탕으로 방사화를 분석한 결과 가동시간이 길수록 방사능이 높았으며, 대부분 10년부터 방사화가 포화되는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 방사화로 인해 생성된 핵종은 대표적으로 Co-60, W-181, 185, 187, Na-24, Ca-45, Mn-54, 56, Fe-55, 59 등으로 나타났다.

이 연구는 사회적 관심의 증대와 작은도서관 관련 독립법률인 「작은도서관 진흥법」의 제정 등을 통해 지속해서 증가하고 있는 작은도서관에 대하여 활성화 부진 원인을 진단하고 이를 개선하기 위한 정책을 제안하고자하였다. 이를 위해 작은도서관 운영 실태조사, 정책 및 지원과 법규 조사를 진행하였다. 이를 종합하여 작은도서관 활성화를 위한 정책 방향 및 과제를 제안하였다. 작은도서관 활성화를 위한 정책 과제는 '지역주민의 행복한 삶을 지원하는 작은도서관 활성화'라는 비전과 '포괄적 정책 근거, 정책 체계 혁신, 지속할 수 있는 운영 지원'의 핵심가치 아래 '정책기반 마련 및 실천 동력 확보를 위한 법·제도 개선', '정책 단위별 역할 재정립 및 협력체계 강화', '작은도서관의 안정적 운영지원체계 구축'이라는 3가지 추진과제와 14가지 세부과제로 구성하였다.

본 연구는 우리나라 연안 여객운송부문을 자극하고 또한 경쟁력을 높이고자 실제 자료를 바탕으로 방해요소를 개선하고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 최근의 연안여객항로 시장변화 추이를 진단하고, 연안여객의 항로운영에 장애가 되고 있는 내 외부적인 제약요인을 분석하여, 우리나라 연안여객업의 발전방안을 제시해 보았다. 본 논문에서는 P여객선사의 진해-거제간의 여객항로를 예를 들어, 부산을 기점으로 거제까지 해상을 이용함에 있어서 획득할 수 있는 편의와 그 경제적인 효용을 살펴보고, 이 항로를 이용하고 있는 이용객들의 설문조사에 의한 업체의 서비스 만족도를 SWOT 분석을 통해 실증분석 함으로써, 기존 선행연구에서 지적된 사항과 더불어 보다 현업의 관점에서 나타나고 있는 연안여객업체의 활성화저해요인을 탐색 및 검증하였고 나아가 그 개선방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 가장 두드러지게 나타난 방해 요소는 추가적인 선박운행을 하는데 있어서 까다로운 정부의 각종 규제와 터미널, 선착장 등 부대시설부족, 야간운항의 제한, 여객선항로상의 유 도선 중첩취항 등의 문제가 주요 문제로 조사되었다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 실증적인 'P' 선사의 자료를 바탕으로 'P'선사는 물론 우리나라의 연안여객의 활성화 방안까지 다루면서, 본 연구의 한계와 향후 연구 방향까지 모색해 보았다.

The purpose of this study is to suggest an activation plan for community centers. The community centers, categorized into 3 types by the number of visitors, were comparatively analyzed by their programs, operation, and visitors' opinion. 6 community centers in Heungduk-gu, Cheongju-city, their 6 operators, and their 220 visitors were the sample. This study surveyed community centers on the spot about their space characteristics and programs, interviewed operators, and asked questionnaires to visitors. The data of the 3 categorized centers were analyzed by frequency, average, and percentage. The following is the result: 1) The number of visitors was dependent on the type of residence and age of the residents. The activated community centers were found in residence type apartment blocks, and with an age group in its 40s. 2) The space satisfaction was dependent on the year of construction; it was higher with newer buildings and wider sizes. 3) All the centers were affirmative on the communication of the participants of programs. In conclusion, the activation plan of the community center has to comprise a renovation of old buildings, public promotion, and the development of programs taking into consideration the age group of the residents.

본 기술논문에서는 고기동 고정밀 위성의 별 추적기 초기 점검 원격측정 데이터가 분석되었다. 최근에 발사된 위성은 고기동 고정밀 위성이므로 고도의 요구조건을 만족하기 위해 광학계, 전자부, 배플이 분리된 형태로 광학계 부분의 온도를 20 degC 근처로 유지하면서 저주파 오차 성능을 향상 시킨 프랑스 SODERN사의 SED36을 사용하였다. 본 논문에서는 위성으로부터 내려 받은 원격측정 데이터의 처리를 통해 초기 점검 상태, 요구 조건 만족 여부, 이상 현상 및 주요 임무 기동에서의 별 추적기 잡음각 성능 분석 결과를 제시하였다.

Foreign and domestic seawater desalination plant market investigation was performed to analyze the worldwide trend of seawater desalination plant market and to establish the activation plan for seawater desalination plant application. Water demand and seawater desalination related laws and regulations were investigated and analyzed for the activation plan. RO type and large scale plants are popular nowadays however there are only small plants in island region in Korea. There will be about $1 million\;m^3/day$ deficit in 2015 according to the water demand forecasting from Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Land, Transportation, and Maritime Affairs in Korea. Therefore, it is necessary to activate the domestic application of seawater desalination plant to secure stable water resources. To activate the domestic application of seawater desalination plant, first, we need to establish regulations, support system in the water service law for seawater desalination plant. Second, related Ministry should increase the support for the operation and management of seawater desalination plant and suggest the construction of seawater desalination plant for water resources security near seaside region.

본 연구는 중등 학교도서관 북큐레이션 사례 조사와 담당자의 북큐레이션에 대한 인식 분석을 통해 중등 학교도서관 북큐레이션 활성화 방안을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 문헌조사와 함께, 인천광역시교육청 중등 학교 중 상시 운영이 이루어지는 전수 192개 학교도서관 담당자를 대상으로 설문조사, 인천 중등 사서교사 4명과 문헌정보학과 교수 1명을 대상으로 인터뷰, 학교도서관 방문 관찰을 병행하였다. 이를 통해 북큐레이션 활성화 방안으로 학교도서관 담당자의 증원, 교과교사와의 협력과 정보 공유, 북큐레이션 운영을 위한 매뉴얼 확립, 주제 선정 사례집 출판을 제안하였다.

본 논문은 새롭게 제안된 단일전자 소자(single-electron device) 및 회로를 이용한 새로운 형태의 홉필드 신경회로망(Hopfield neural network)을 소개한다. 홉필드 신경회로망의 전기적 모델 내부에서 가변저항으로 사용되는 단일전자 시냅스(single-electron synapse)와 비선형 활성함수(nonlinear activation function)로 사용되는 두 단의 단일전자 인버터(single-electron inverter)를 몬테-칼로(Monte-Carlo) 방식의 단일전자 회로 시뮬레이터로 동작을 검증한다.

In an electric railway feeding system, transient over-voltage often appears due to the feeder's direct lightning and induced lightning, while switching over-voltage also frequently occurs during operation of electric feeding in substation facilities. Such over-voltage is several times larger than the regular power, and accordingly leads to the dieletric breakdown of eletric power products such as invasion transformers and circuit breakers. Arresters are installed to protect these machines, while arrester counters are installed to observe the arrester's activation. This thesis aims to explore the status of an arrester counter that is being activated several thousand times, determine whether the arrester has actually been activated in relation to the counter, and investigate the over-heatedness and risks of the arrester.
