  • The integration and union of regional digital map and vehicle location data in e-Logistics which means virtual service architecture based on the Internet among the logistics companies is indispensable clause in order to satisfy the visibility characteristics. Most conventional vehicle monitoring and controlling systems were constructed with individual and mutual exclusive architecture so that there are required lots of cost for sharing and integrating the information among them. In this paper, we design and implement an component-based open system which represent moving object location information as well as digital map using the GML(Geography Markup Language - international standard encoding based on XML). We also test proposed system on the delivery vehicle scenario in e-Logistics environment, and validate its superior in terms of extensibility and interoperability.

  • RISC-V is a free and open ISA enabling a new era of processor innovation through open standard collaboration. Born in academia and research, RISC-V ISA delivers a new level of free, extensible software and hardware freedom on architecture, paving the way for the next 50 years of computing design and innovation. In this paper, according to the emergence of RISC-V architecture, we describe the RISC-V processor instruction set constituted by arithmetic logic, memory, branch, control, status register, environment call and break point instructions. Using ModelSim and Quartus-II, 38 instructions of RISC-V has been successfully simulated and synthesized.

A Chronological Study on the Transformation and the Spatial Characteristics of Ambulatory Care Facilities in the United States (미국 외래진료시설의 시대적 변천과 공간적 특성에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: This study aims to examine spatial characteristics of ambulatory care department Chronologically through case studies; and to consider the social implication of these spatial changes. Methods: In this study, a total of eight ambulatory care departments, one or two for each period, were selected in order to analyze the spatial characteristics. Results: First, since the 1990s, the outpatient department of the US has been changed into a patient-centered space by providing high quality outpatient medical services through individual exam room planning. Second, the exam room has been changed from open/semi-open/group exam room to individual exam room since 1990, and the trend is shifting from the cluster type to the modular type consisting of universal exam rooms in order to achieve the flexibility of exam room. Third, the diagnostic/testing area has been deployed to the ambulatory clinic to enable 'one-stop shopping' for patients-centered care since 1990s, however, it has been disappearing since 2000 due to Reduce medical expenses. Fourth, the Central Nursing Station type first appeared in the outpatient department In the 2000s, followed by the type of decentralized nursing station type since 2010s. And fifth, the area of medical support has been placing to be concentrated on one place due to the Lean Design strategy since 2010. Implications: In the future, it is expected that Korea will be more focused on efficiency, visual control, and flexibility in the planning of the ambulatory care department as in the case of the United States.

  • SDN (Software Defined Network) technology, hardware and network control functions should be separated independently of existing switches or routers and data transfer functions and are also refers to a separate network architecture that can develop and run. When planning a network and designed to reflect the network control function by applying the SDN may reflect the resources efficiently. In this study, one people suggest Applications SDN, which offer an absolutely necessary part of a coded program that combines the benefits of the existing IOS (Combined Benefits) applying the model to complete the Controller part through the MPLS IOS. The OpenFlow Controller is a command to the router LER(Label Edge Router), and transmits the packet in accordance with the command to the destination according to the EXP bit. To configure TCP / IP to the IOS through the optimized coding. Using the OpenFlow protocol controller transmits an encapsulation header as defined in the MPLS packet.

  • The novel network architecture is recently required to accommodate a variety and intelligence of communication services. It is also required to provide customized network functions and to efficiently satisfy a various user's requirements. Accordingly, open network architecture based on ATM transport network features has been mainly studied in communication network. This paper evaluates the VSN(Virtual Switch Network) characteristics in the call processing of IMT-2000 switching system, which is composed of VSN instead of ATM switch network. VSN means switch network which is composed of ATM transport network. As a result, this paper proposes new VSN based ATM-MSC architecture with integrated call and connection control systems. and evaluates call processing delay characteristics using call process procedures. Internal call processing delay is increased approximately 3.5msec than the conventional ATM switching system. The experimental values applied in the analysis condition are the load 0.8, and the 100km distance between CCCPs(Call and Connection Control Processors) and VSNs. It is confirmed that the VSN has the potentiality in the practical implementation.

  • 주로 이벤트 입력방식으로 이루어지는 차량 바디 분야의 응용 시스템과는 달리 차량 모터 응용 시스템은 실시간 제어가 필요하기 때문에 모터 응용 소프트웨어를 설계하기 위해서는 다른 방법으로 접근해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 AUTOSAR(AUTomotive Open System Architecture) 표준 플랫폼을 이용하여 모터 응용 시스템 소프트웨어를 설계하는 방안을 소개하고자 한다. 대표적인 차량 모터 응용 시스템인 전동식 조향 시스템의 소프트웨어를 AUTOSAR 표준 규격에 준거하여 설계하고 시뮬레이션을 통해 이를 검증한다.

  • In Mobile ad hoc networks (MANET), nodes could transmit packets for each other to communicate beyond their transmission range without centralized control. Unlike infrastructure-based wireless networks, due to the unique characteristics of MANETs such as open network architecture, stringent resource constraints and highly dynamic network topology, networks are vulnerable to wormhole attacks launched through colluding nodes. In this paper, we develop an wormhole detection and prevention algorithm for MANET.

  • Many different industries use Supervisory Control and Data Acqisition/Energy Management Systems (Scada/EMS) to guide a wide range of operations and processes. This paper provides an overview of the functions of Scada/EMS and the fundamentals of operation of Scada/EMS. The paper concludes with the current trends toward open systems, distributed architecture, improved man-machine interface(MMl), advanced applications, artificial intelligence(AI), distribution automation, smarter remote terminal units(RTUs)and expended system scope.
