대단위 우리말 온톨리지 구축을 위한 시소러스의 개발 (Constructing a Grand-Scale Korean Thesaurus as a Base for Ontology Development)

  • 한국어 정보처리를 위하여 전 분야를 포괄하는 대단위 시소러스를 계획하고 이를 개발하고 있다. 이 시소러스는 현재 현장에서 정보의 색인과 검색용으로 사용되고 있으며 새로운 용어가 추가되면서 계속하여 증식하고 있다. 그런데 정보처리에 대한 새로운 요구가 증가함에 따라 대단위 온톨로지의 개발이 필요하게 되었으며, 이에 시소러스를 온톨로지로 변환할 준비를 하고 있다. 본 고에서는 온톨로지를 만들기 위하여 지금까지 구축한 시소러스의 내용에 대하여 논한다.

Indicator-based Behavior Ontology for Detecting Insider Threats in Network Systems

  • Malicious insider threats have increased recently, and methods of the threats are diversifying every day. These insider threats are becoming a significant problem in corporations and governments today. From a technology standpoint, detecting potential insider threats is difficult in early stage because it is unpredictable. In order to prevent insider threats in early stage, it is necessary to collect all of insiders' data which flow in network systems, and then analyze whether the data are potential threat or not. However, analyzing all of data makes us spend too much time and cost. In addition, we need a large repository in order to collect and manage these data. To resolve this problem, we develop an indicator-based behavior ontology (IB2O) that allows us to understand and interpret insiders' data packets, and then to detect potential threats in early stage in network systems including social networks and company networks. To show feasibility of the behavior ontology, we developed a prototype platform called Insider Threat Detecting Extractor (ITDE) for detecting potential insider threats in early stage based on the behavior ontology. Finally, we showed how the behavior ontology would help detect potential inside threats in network system. We expect that the behavior ontology will be able to contribute to detecting malicious insider threats in early stage.

한의 기초 이론을 이용한 치법-증상 조합 분류, 체계화 연구 (Study on Systematizing the Combination of Method of Treatment and Symptoms Using the Basic Traditional Medicine Theory)

  • In order to improve the integrating accuracy and to elevate the serviceability of the KM(Korean Medicine) ontology constructed by the Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine, this research simplified the many-to-many corresponding relationship between groups of methods of treatment and groups of accompanied symptoms from disease ontology and categorized systematically the relationship. We first extracted the combinations of methods of treatment and accompanied symptoms from the KM ontology, then categorized the attributes of combinations that their frequencies were over 10 times by analyzing KM terms definition and the basic KM theory. We constructed the classification hierarchy having 14 kinds of classification in 4 steps and extracted 450 meaningful combinations. This research improved the integrating accuracy and elevated the serviceability of KM information by the classification system.

제조산업에서 공급기업 발굴을 위한 온톨로지 (Ontology for Supplier Discovery in Manufacturing Domain)

  • Discovering the suppliers capable of manufacturing the parts that satisfy buyer requirements via current online market places remains difficult due to semantic differences between what the suppliers can produce and what the buyer wants to acquire. One of the promising approaches to overcome the semantic difference is to adopt an ontology to describe the suppliers' manufacturing capabilities and the buyer requirements that range widely from manufacturing costs to eco-friendly design. Such an ontology dedicated to supplier discovery has yet to be developed. MSDL(Manufacturing Service Description Language) provides the basis for defining terms and their relationships in the ontology. Thus, the objective of this paper is to extend MSDL into a new ontology suitable for supplier discovery in mold manufacturing industry. In addition, a new ontology development method for supplier discovery will be proposed. Finally prototype demonstrations are provided to show a feasibility of the proposed ontology in mold manufacturing domains.

워드넷의 의미 관계 집합을 이용한 온톨로지 매핑 (Ontology Mapping using Semantic Relationship Set of the WordNet)

  • 다양한 온톨로지 개발로 온톨로지간에 정보공유와 재사용이 필요하게 되면서 온톨로지 매핑에 관련된 연구가 활발이 이루어지고 있다. 온톨로지 매핑 기법으로는 어휘 유사성, 구조 유사성, 인스턴스 유사성, 추론 유사성 검사 기법으로 나누어진다. 이 중 어휘 유사성 검사 기법은 대부분의 온톨로지 매핑 연구에서 사용하는 기법으로써 주로 워드넷에 정의되어 있는 동의어 집합만을 사용한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 워드넷에 정의되어 있는 동의어 집합 외에 상위어, 하위어, 전체어, 부분어 집합의 모든 단어들을 포함한 수퍼워드셋을 정의하고, 이것을 이용한 온톨로지 매핑 기법을 제안한다. 실험 결과에 의하면, 제안된 기법은 기존 온톨로지 매핑 기법보다 평균 12%까지 온톨로지 매칭율을 높인 것을 보여준다.

  • With the development of information technology, knowledge information-oriented and information systems are being rapidly paced. In addition, doctor's needs of the system that assist decision making is gradually increasing. Because the complex process of decision-making should be a lot. We propose a web based system for supporting medical treatment based on Korean medicine ontology. There are three kinds of processes. First, a pattern is decided for patient' symptoms, a formula for the pattern is selected and medicinal materials constituting the formula is added or removed. Second, a formula is decided for patient' symptoms, medicinal materials constituting the formula is added or removed. Third, a Treat method is decided for patient' symptoms, medicinal materials constituting the formula is added or removed. We have designed and implemented the clinical decision support system that supports flexible processes and necessary information and functions. The system shows the appropriate form of ontology knowledge as interrelated and provide analysis and processing, does not show simply search. The system is one of the systems utilizing ontology and a web based system that can be used in anywhere. Therefore, This system Will be useful as for doctors to make decision.

온톨로지 저작 도구 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Ontology Management Tool)

  • 오늘날, 웹 데이터의 의미적 처리를 위한 시맨틱 웹에 대한 많은 연구가 진행 중이다. 시맨틱 웹 환경을 실현하기 위해서 가장 중요한 작업은 객체들의 개념과 개념들 사이의 관계를 정의하는 온톨로지의 구축이다. 온톨로지 구축을 위해 OWL, RDF(S), DAML+OIL 등과 같은 언어들이 개발되었으며, 이 언어들을 기반으로 온톨로지를 구축하기 위한 Protege, KAON, OILEd 등의 온톨로지 저작 도구들이 개발되었다. 이처럼 많은 온톨로지 구축 언어와 도구가 개발되었지만, 온톨로지 이론에 대한 이해부족, 구축 언어 어휘 사용의 어려움 그리고 저작 도구 사용의 어려움 등의 이유로 온톨로지 저작 도구의 활용은 온톨로지 전문가 및 연구자들로 제한되어 있다. 그리고 워드넷과 같은 범용의 대형 온톨로지를 재사용하기 위한 연구 또한 부족한 실정이다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 온톨로지 전문가들을 비롯하여 온톨로지 구축을 원하는 일반 사용자들도 쉽게 온톨로지를 구축할 수 있는 OWL 온톨로지 저작 도구를 설계하고 구현하였다. 본 논문에서는 온톨로지 저작 도구의 개발에 필요한 중요 모듈에 대한 내용들을 소개함으로써 저작 도구 개발에 도움이 되고, 일반인들의 온톨로지에 대한 이해를 도와줌으로써, 본 시스템을 사용하여 쉽게 온톨로지를 구축할 수 있기를 기대한다.

  • Business environment goes through an unprecedented massive shift that has never happened before. For that reason, business models have to be designed to considering the changed environments. This study develops a business model for independent business to build an ontology system. The system has potentials to improve existing independent business models and to provide more detailed and precise information for users as relevant data accumulates. The ontology system helps independent business meet market demands, generate income for founders, and increase society-wide income levels. The results of the study provides insights to build ontology systems for new starting enterprises running their business.

온톨로지를 이용한 마음의 병 진단 보조 시스템 설계 (The Design of Diseases of Mind Diagnosis Support System Using Ontology)

  • The purpose of this paper is to suggest diagnosis support system for diseases of mind so that users can make effective decisions without professional knowledge by developing efficient knowledge system and utilizing ontology with which questions and logic inference are possible to diagnose diseases of mind. Furthermore, this diagnosis support system could be applied to supplement previous diagnosis method which depends on experiences by activating the diagnose of mind diseases thru ontology and determining state of mind effectively without technical knowledge. As a result of this experiment, diagnosis support system for diseases of mind was found to be accordance with the result of consulting instructions and show additional relevance thru utility extension.

Semi-Automatic Ontology Construction from HTML Documents: A conversion of Text-formed Information into OWL 2

  • Ontology is known to be one of the most important technologies in achieving semantic web. It is critical as it represents the knowledge in a machine readable state. World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) has been contributing to the development of ontology for the last several years. However, the recommendation of W3C left out HTML despite the massive amount of information it contains. Also, it is difficult and time consuming to keep up with all the technologies especially in the case of constructing ontology. Thus, we propose a module and methods that reuse HTML documents, extract necessary information from HTML tags and mapping it to OWL 2. We will be combining two kinds of approaches which will be the structural refinement for making an ontology skeleton and linguistic approach for adding detailed information onto the skeleton.
