동시과제의 처리 적절성이 미래계획기억 수행에 미치는 효과 (The effect of task appropriate processing of on-going task on event-based prospective memory)

  • 본 연구는 동시과제의 처리적절성이 미래계획기억의 수행에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 고안되었다. 동시과제와 미래기억과제 간의 처리적절성을 동시과제 단어목록 유형과 미래기억과제 목표단어들의 범주를 통해 조작하였다. 동시과제의 단어목록은 의미연합 목록과 모양연합 목록으로 구성되었으며, 미래기억과제 목표단어들은 의미처리를 중심으로 기억할 수 있는 단어들과 글자모양 중심으로 기억할 수 있는 단어들로 구성되었다. 과제처리적 절성 이론에 따라서, 동시과제의 연합차원이 미래계획기억과제의 연합차원과 동일할 때에, 미래계획기억의 수행이 좋을 것으로 예상하였다. 총 50명의 참가자들이 두 개의 실험에 참가하였다. 실험 결과, 미래계획기억과제의 수행은 동시과제와 미래계획기억과제의 연합차원이 같을 때에 좋게 나타났다. 또한 미래계획기억 목표단어와 동시과제의 처리적절성이 높은목록에 대해 동시과제의 목록 재인율도 높게 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 기존의 과제처리적절성 이론의 최근 연구 결과들에 비추어 논의되었다.

미래기억 기능을 측정하기 위한 패러다임의 고안 (Development of Paradigm for Measuring Prospective Memory Function)

  • Prospective memory (PM) is related to remember to carry out a previously intented behaviour. The purpose of this study was to develop a paradigm for measuring PM function to diagnosis in mild cognitive impairment 1 or brain injury in patients 2. among brain injured patients Thirty-eight normal healthy subjects participated in current study. The paradigm was composed of four conditions: a baseline and three intention conditions (expectation, execution 1 and 2). In the expectation condition, subjects were asked to make a new response to intented stimuli during ongoing task, but the intented stimuli never occurred. In the execution 1 (one type of expected stimulus) and 2 (two types of expected stimuli), the intended stimuli did occur in 20% of trials. The reaction time and error rate were calculated in each condition. Repeated measures using ANOVA of subject's mean reaction times (RTs) and mean error rates (ERs) showed main effects of conditions during ongoing task. The comparison of PM tasks in executive condition 1 and 2 also showed significance in RTs and ERs. This paradigm reflects sufficiently the performance of prospective memory function during ongoing task in normal individuals. Thus, we suggest that the paradigm will be helpful to study neural network of PM function using brain imaging techniques and diagnosis of PM dysfunction.

부호화 전략 유형과 동시과제 처리 적절성이 미래계획기억 수행에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Encoding strategy and Transfer Appropriate Processing on Prospective Memory Performance)

  • 본 연구는 미래계획기억(PM) 수행에서 기억전략과 동시과제 처리적절성의 효과를 탐색하기 위해 수행되었다. 먼저 실험 1에서 목표단어 파지를 위한 기억전략 유형이 부호화 단계에서 조작되었다. 먼저 메타 전략을 통해 목표단어를 기억해야했던 참가자들은 PM 과제 수행에 대한 수행 난이도에 대한 주관적 평정과 자신의 수행 예측 정도를 판단해야 했으며, 인지 전략을 통해 목표단어를 기억해야 했던 참가자들은 목표단어에 대한 문장 산출과 주관적 호감도 평정을 해야 했다. 또한 모든 참가자들은 목표단어와의 처리적절성이 높은 동시과제와 낮은 동시과제 두 종류 모두를 수행하면서 PM 과제를 수행해야 했다. 실험 2는 실험 1의 반복검증을 위해 수행되었으며, 처리적절성에 대한 동시과제의 종류를 제외하고 실험 1과 모든 것이 동일하였다. 실험 결과, 두 실험 모두에서 메타 전략 조건의 참가자들이 인지 전략 조건의 참가자들보다 PM 수행 정확률이 더 높았다. 또한 처리적절성이 높은 과제에서 PM 수행 정확률이 더 높았다. 두 조건들 간에 상호작용도 나타났다. 메타 인지 조건에서는 처리적절성이 높은 동시과제를 수행하는 동안 PM 정확율이 좋았던 반면, 인지 전략 조건에서는 처리적절성에 따라 PM 정확율에 차이가 없었다. 동시과제에서는 조건들 간에 아무런 수행의 손실이나 이득이 나타나지 않았다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 미래계획기억 수행에서 메타 인지처리과정에 의한 수행의 향상은 인지 자원의 영향에 따라 달라질 수 있다고 볼 수 있다.

TASK PLANNING AND VISUALIZATION SYSTEM FOR INTELLIGENT EXCAVATING SYSTEM

  • The earthwork is essential procedure for all civil engineering projects. Because of its importance in terms of cost and time, it should be managed effectively. In light of this, The Intelligent Excavating System (IES) research consortium has established to improve the productivity, quality and safety of current excavating/earthwork system by the Ministry of Land, Transportation and Maritime Affairs (MLTM) of Korea. This paper summarizes ongoing research aimed at development knowledge and presents a framework of task planning and visualization system for IES. The task planning and visualization system consists of three functions. 1) Using digital terrain model which created by 3D laser scanner, the system can divide it and generates global/local work area so that the excavator can work through the area. 2) In order to operate and/or control the excavator, the system exports the location, paths of boom, arm and bucket data of the excavator to control center. 3) The task planning system is visualized on the computer programming aided-graphic interface which simulates the planned work processes and eventually assists the operator for the control of the excavator. The case study which we have performed, demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed system.

  • SolarPACES is an international cooperative network bringing together teams of national exports from around the world to focus on the development and marketing of concentrating solar power systems (also known as solar thermal power systems). It is one of a number of collaborative programs, called Implementing Agreements, managed under the umbrella of the International Energy Agency to help find solutions to worldwide energy problems. Technology development is at the core of the work of SolarPACES. Member countries work together on activities aimed at solving the wide range of technical problems associated with commercialization of concentrating solar technology, including large-scale system tests and the development of advanced technologies, components, instrumentation, and systems analysis techniques. In addition to technology development, market development and building of awareness of the potential of concentrating solar technologies are key elements of the SolarPACES program The Implementing Agreement specifies broad "Tasks," or thematic areas of work SolarPACES currently has three ongoing tasks, focusing on concentrating solar electric power systems (Task I), solar chemistry research (Task II), and solar technology and applications (Task III). An Operating Agent, nominated by the ExCo, is responsible for overseeing the work of each task Each task maintains a detailed program of work that defines all task activities, including their objectives, participants, plans, and budgets. In addition to technical reports of the activities and their participants, accomplishments and progress are summarized in the SolarPACES annual report. Many SolarPACES activities involve close cooperation among member countries (either through sharing of task activities or, occasionally, cost-sharing), although some cooperation is limited to sharing of information and results with other participants. In this paper, structure, works, and members of SolarPACES and Korean activies in the SolarPACES are introduced.

Semantic Similarity-Based Contributable Task Identification for New Participating Developers

  • In software development, the quality of a product often depends on whether its developers can rapidly find and contribute to the proper tasks. Currently, the word data of projects to which newcomers have previously contributed are mainly utilized to find appropriate source files in an ongoing project. However, because of the vocabulary gap between software projects, the accuracy of source file identification based on information retrieval is not guaranteed. In this paper, we propose a novel source file identification method to reduce the vocabulary gap between software projects. The proposed method employs DBPedia Spotlight to identify proper source files based on semantic similarity between source files of software projects. In an experiment based on the Spring Framework project, we evaluate the accuracy of the proposed method in the identification of contributable source files. The experimental results show that the proposed approach can achieve better accuracy than the existing method based on comparison of word vocabularies.

변화탐지와 회상 과제에 기초한 시각작업기억의 통합적 객체 표상 검증 (Integrated Object Representations in Visual Working Memory Examined by Change Detection and Recall Task Performance)

  • 본 연구는 두 가지 이론적 모델인 통합된 객체 모형과 특장 병렬-독립 저장 모형을 검증함으로써 시각작업기억 표상의 특성을 조사하였다. 실험 I에서 참가자들은 색상 사각형, 방위 막대 또는 두 가지 모두로 구성된 배열을 기억한 뒤 이를 토대로 변화탐지과제를 수행했다. 단일 특징 조건에서 기억배열은 하나의 특징(방위 또는 색상)으로만 구성된 반면, 두 가지 특징 조건은 둘 모두를 포함했다. 두 조건간 변화탐지 수행의 차이는 없었으며 이는 병렬-독립 저장 모형보다는 통합된 객체 모형을 지지한다. 실험 II에서는 이등변삼각형의 방위, 색상 사각형 또는 두 특징 모두로 구성된 기억배열을 대상으로 회상과제가 실시되었으며, 단일 특징과 두 가지 특징 조건 간 회상 수행이 비교되었다. 두 조건 간 회상 정확도에는 차이가 없었으나 표상 선명도와 추측반응에 대한 분석 결과는 강한 객체 모형보다는 약한 객체 모형을 시사했다. 본 연구의 결과는 시각작업기억의 표상 특성을 둘러싼 현시점의 논쟁에 있어서 병렬-독립 저장 모형이 아닌 통합된 객체 모형의 우세를 지지한다.

피학대아동을 위한 서비스의 국가간 비교를 통한 한국적 함의 - 미국과 스웨덴을 중심으로 - (Services for Abused Children : Implications from a Comparative Case Study of Programs in the USA and Sweden)

  • Even though social intervention in child abuse has begun in Korean society, there are many problems in terms of basic principles of child welfare services. Focusing on the principle of family preservation in child welfare services, this comparative study reviewed services for abused children and their families in the USA and Sweden. Results indicated directions for effective services for abused children are comprehensive and should be provided by community resources. Comprehensive services and follow-up of reported cases should be managed by public agencies and community networks. Education curricula for professionals and inter-disciplinary collaboration should be organized. A most important task in the future is to set up firm laws and policies for effective services in Korean society.

백화점 3사의 온-오프라인 통합전략 사례 연구 (Case Study on the "Clicks and Mortar" Strategies of the Three Major Department Stores in Korea)

  • As the dot-com companies realize the importance of the traditional business operations such as product distribution and sourcing, the task of balancing business strategy and operations between electronic commerce and"bricks St mortar"channels is an ongoing challenge. However, there are no generic recipes for formulating business strategy that optimally bridges the physical and virtual operations. In order to provide some guidelines, this study examines the big 3 retailers in Korea, and their"clicks & mortar"strategy, assessing how the activities of each channel are integrated to achieve the synergy effect. This study analyzes the differences in the pattern of integration among the three retailers and traces the causes of those differences. It also figures out the relationship between the degree of integration and performance variables such as growth and cost. Finally. it defines the essential constraints on the process of integration along with managerial implications.
