Design and Function Analysis of Dust Measurement Platform based on IoT protocol (사물인터넷 프로토콜 기반의 미세먼지 측정 플랫폼 설계와 기능해석)

  • In this paper, the fine dust (PM10) and ultrafine dust (PM2.5) measurement platforms are designed to be mobile and fixed using oneM2M, the international standard for IoT. The fine dust measurement platform is composed and designed with a fine dust measurement device, agent, oneM2M platform, oneM2M IPE, and monitoring system. The main difference between mobile and fixed is that the mobile uses the MQTT protocol for interconnection between devices and services without blind spots based on LTE connection, and the fixed uses the LoRaWAN protocol with low power and wide communication range. Not only fine dust, but also temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, volatile organic compounds (VOC), carbon monoxide (CO), sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), and noise data related to daily life were collected. The collected sensor values were managed using the common API provided by oneM2M through the agent and oneM2M IPE, and it was designed into four resource types: AE and container. Six functions of operability, flexibility, convenience, safety, reusability, and scalability were analyzed through the fine dust measurement platform design.

  • In this paper, the uplink data transmitted from LoRa node is received and decomposed in LoRaWAN Network Server and converted into data with key and value. The data is converted into the data format required by the existing oneM2M platform, and transmitted. The oneM2M platform stores the data, another system for transmitting the data is implemented so that the processing for the data can be started immediately.

  • This study is a digitalization study based on ICT technology as part of the development of innovative technologies in the new energy industry as a 2050 carbon-neutral policy. It is the development of an oneM2M-based IoT server platform that can be integrated and managed in conjunction with the external interface of each energy facility. It analyzes KEPCO's e-IoT standard specifications through the Power Research Institute's 'SPIN' and develops representative standards, LWM2M and oneM gateway platforms. OneM2M secures and analyzes the recently announced standard for Release 2 instead of the existing Release 1. In addition, the e-IoT standard oneM2M platform is developed based on R2. In addition, it selects the specifications for e-IoT gateway devices that can sufficiently implement KEPCO's e-IoT standards. In addition, a technology and system for developing a high-performance gateway device that considers future scalability were proposed.

  • 사물인터넷(Internet of Things; IoT)이 발달하면서 FIWARE, oneM2M, AllJoyn 등의 많은 IoT 플랫폼이 개발되고 관련 표준들도 제정되고 있다. 이런 환경에서는 각 IoT 플랫폼의 통신 프로토콜, 보안정책 등이 상이하기 때문에 데이터가 연동되기 어렵고, 보안 인터워킹을 수행하는 것은 더욱 어려운 문제다. oneM2M과 FIWARE의 경우, Fi-Proxy 인터워킹 어댑터를 이용하여 상호간 인터워킹이 시연된 사례가 있지만 그 과정에서 보안이 고려되지는 않았다. oneM2M은 아직 보안 컴포넌트가 별도로 존재하지 않기 때문에, 본 논문에서는 oneM2M-FIWARE 보안 인터워킹 시나리오에 적용할 수 있는 OAuth 2.0 기반 oneM2M 보안 컴포넌트를 구현하고, FIWARE 보안 아키텍처를 분석 및 구현하여 시사점을 도출한다. 또한 본 논문은 oneM2M과 FIWARE 간의 보안 인터워킹 아키텍처를 제안하고, 이를 기반으로 향후 여러 도메인에 활용될 수 있는 구조를 가진 LED 예제를 개발한다.

  • In this paper, an IoT system which is increasingly popular in these days is developed. Among various international standards on the area, one M2M communication protocol is used in the system. The 0neM2M-based IoT system consists of ADN-AE modules and CSE modules. The ADN-AE module provides applications of various services. It also monitors a CSE module. The CES module is a platform that provides common services which should be provided to various AEs in an IoT system. The CSE module consists of a Network Manager module, a Message Handler module, and a Resource Manager module. The Network Manager module controls oneM2M communication and data flow in the system. The Message Handler module processes transmitted messages and the Resource Manager module manages the Resource Tree. The resource tree stores information of the objects to be managed in the system. Also, internal data flow and protocol mapping in the modules are explained.

  • oneM2M has been adopted to national and global smart city platforms leveraging its benefits, oneM2M platform assures interoperability to devices and services with standard APIs. Existing access control mechanisms in the standard should be extended to easily distribute smart city data. Compared to the as-is standard, this paper proposes a new access control method with minimum human interventions during data distribution between data sellers and buyers. The proposal has been implemented as the new data marketplace APIs to oneM2M platform and used for data marketplace portal interworking. This also has been demonstrated with smart city PoC service.

  • This paper introduces oneM2M global IoT standard middleware platform based smart city service data model support and FIWARENGSI interworking for Orion Broker. Also, service data models implementation using flexContainer resource types and FIWARENGSI interworking using the Interworking Framework (TS-0033) from oneM2M Release 3 are also illustrated. In this system, data model element level access (e.g. for subscription/notification feature) is enabled, which is enhancement compared to contentInstance resource type before, and service agnostic FIWARE NGSI interworking is provided over the Interworking Framework for smart city platform data interworking.

  • OneM2M's domain is divided into Device, Network, and Application domain, and data generated from various devices is collected through IoT/M2M gateway, it is delivered to appropriate IoT/M2M Infrastructure through Core/Access Network. However, access to the Core/Access Network is also required if the device transmit data to an Infrastructure located within the same area. In this paper, it propose data transmission based on region gateway that judge and transmit local information of data by adding a concept of region network domain to oneM2M domain, prevent access to unnecessary Core/Access Network.

  • oneM2M 표준은 다양한 플랫폼을 지원하기 위해 다양한 통신 프로토콜과의 바인딩을 지원한다. 이 통신 프로토콜들은 HTTP, MQTT, COAP, WebSocket 등 경량화 혹은 단일 대상에 적합한 통신 프로토콜이며, 데이터 형식이 고정되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 자유로운 데이터 형식을 지원하며, 대규모/실시간 통신에 적합한 DDS를 oneM2M 표준에 따르는 OCEAN 플랫폼에 적용하는 방법을 제안한다.

Voice-based Device Control Using oneM2M IoT Platforms

  • In this paper, we present a prototype system for controlling IoT home appliances via voice-based commands. A voice command has been widely deployed as one of unobtrusive user interfaces for applications in a variety of IoT domains. However, interoperability between diverse IoT systems is limited by several dominant companies providing voice assistants like Amazon Alexa or Google Now due to their proprietary systems. A global IoT standard, oneM2M has been proposed to mitigate the lack of interoperability between IoT systems. In this paper, we deployed oneM2M-based platforms for a voice record device like a wrist band and LED control device like a home appliance. We developed all the components for recording voices and controlling IoT devices, and demonstrate the feasibility of our proposed method based on oneM2M platforms and Google STT (Speech-to-Text) API for controlling home appliances by showing a user scenario for turning the LED device on and off via voice commands.
