Several studies have reported the presence of sodium excess objects having neutral atomic absorption lines at $5895{\AA}$ (NaD) and $8190{\AA}$ that are deeper than expected based on stellar population models that match the stellar continuum. The origin of these lines is therefore hotly debated. van Dokkum & Conroy proposed that low-mass stars (0.3M) are more prevalent in massive early-type galaxies, which may lead to a strong NaI 8190 line strength. It is necessary to test this prediction, however, against other prominent optical line indices such as NaD, Mgb, and Fe5270, which can be measured with a significantly higher signal-to-noise ratio than NaI 8190. We identified a new sample of roughly one thousand NaD excess objects (NEOs; ~8% of galaxies in the sample) based on NaD line strength in the redshift range 0.00${\alpha}$-enhanced" ([${\alpha}/Fe$] ~ 0.3), "metal-rich" ([Z/H] ~ 0.3), and, especially, "Na-enhanced" ([Na/Fe] ~ 0.3).

The purpose of this study is to develop a design prototype of outdoor-wear which is suitable for trekking. For achieving this purpose, 6 factors(bodice, sleeve, hood, pockets, opening, hem-line) considered for clothing function were selected, classified, and complemented based on the survey of literature and the research of 185 designs in 12 outdoor-wear brands. The results are as follows; The removable hood and 4DM sleeve style with the elastic band and velcro for the cuffs was the most preferred in the detail design on the brand research. And also the ventilation function and 1 or 2 diagonal in-seam pocket, covered zipper was preferred. Based on this result, two design prototypes of men's outdoor-wear for trekking were suggested; jacket 1 has a slim waist line and a hip length. Front opening has a zip and placket for windproof effect. There is a detachable hood with stopper around the head line. 4DM sleeve and elastic band inserted at the end of sleeve, so that prevent the hem-line raising. Two inseam pocket is placed slightly diagonal. Jacket 2 is a hood jacket with a york. The Jacket has a little roomier in waist and a hip length. Front opening is fastened by a waterproof zip. It has a 4DM sleeve and a princess line to make it placed two pocket which have ventilation functionality.

This study aims to analyze the preference of jacket design, practical factors regarding jacket-wearing and purchasing behavior for korean baby- boom generation women. The results are as follows: 1. According to the outfit preference survey, the silhouette most preferred by female baby boomers is the "X-line Silhouette", "hip length", "slightly fitted and well fitted". The preferred jacket colors for different seasons were grey and beige for spring, white and light yellow for summer, khaki and brown for fall and black and dark grey for winter. 2. According to the survey on factors to consider when purchasing jackets, 52% indicated that they "almost never" or "occasionally" had their jackets repaired after purchasing them. When purchasing jackets, the highest expected effect of looking younger by wearing a jacket was "looking 4-5 years younger". 3. According to the survey on price demands, the average purchase price for jackets was 160,000~200,000 won (27.80%) followed by 210,000~350,000 won (25.64%) and a significant difference existed based on the purchasers' economic activities.

In this study, a scientific survey on the material of the mother-of-pearl floor mirror was conducted and conservation treatment processes were introduced. The survey results showed that the mother-of-pearl floor mirror in Daejojeon Hall of Changdeokgung is made of Dalbergia spp., and repair work seems to be done later with shorea spp. FT-IR analysis results showed that the varnishing is similar to the spectrum of lacquer. The metal wheels and metal line decorations set with mother-of-pearl were found to be made of brass based on XRF analysis, and the ingredient ratio showed that these were made in modern times. Foreign materials were stuck on the surface of the mother-of-pearl floor mirror before conservation treatment, which was in a structurally unstable condition owing to some missing submaterials. Conservation treatment was conducted on the damaged area to restore the mirror to its original appearance by using the same species of wood determined from the data obtained through the scientific survey.

Recently, e portion of on-line stock brokerage has been rapidly increased to be more than 50%, on the basis of contracted money. The usage of wCTS(Web Based Cyber Trading Systems) has now got into the steady state over the initial diffusion stage, which means wCTS has got more-than-half customer base in on-line service. Therefore, brokerage service providers have their competitive strategic focus on customer retention through the enhancement of customer loyalty. This study provides framework and survey results on explanation of wCTS user's loyalty, what and how factors affect wCTS user's loyalty. We adopt the results of early studies on information technology acceptance and diffusion such as TAM(Technology Acceptance Model) and IDT(Innovation Diffusion Theory). We also referred loyalty theory of marketing area and studios on CTS usage. We categorized explanation factors as three groups characteristics of users, characteristics of system, social environment. And we assumed that these three factors could affect the loyalty through two parameters : customer satisfaction and trust to the system. This study firstly shows that the ease of use and usefulness, the major factors of TAM. can also be applied to the loyalty of wCTS with resulting that the usefulness is more important than the ease of use In wCTS. Secondly, it shows that the innovative and risk-sensitive user has the lower degree of loyalty. Thirdly, it shows that the satisfaction and trust impact the loyalty simultaneously, the trust particularly impacts more strongly than the loyalty, due to the characteristics of monetary transaction in wCTS. This study provides meaningful results to the other on-line EC service fields as a first empirical research regarding the loyalty to wCTS which is a typical on-line EC service.

We conducted magnetic survey using IBRV (Ice Breaker Research Vessel) ARAON of KORDI (Korea Ocean Research and Development Institute), ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) of Oceaneering Co. and three components vector magnetometer, at Apr., 2011 in the western slope of the caldera of TA25 seamount, the Lau Basin, the southwestern Pacific. The depth ranges of the survey area are from about 900 m to 1200 m, below sea level. For the deep sea magnetic survey, we made the nation's first small deep sea three components magnetometer of Korea. The magnetometer sensor and the data logger was attached with the upper part and lower part of ROV, respectively. ROV followed the planning tracks at 25 ~ 30 m above seafloor using the altimeter and USBL (Ultra Short Base Line) of ROV. The three components magnetometer measured the X (North), Y (East) and Z (Vertical) vector components of the magnetic field of the survey area. A motion sensor provided us the data of pitch, roll, yaw of ROV for the motion correction of the magnetic data. The data of the magnetometer sensor and the motion sensor were recorded on a notebook through the optical cable of ROV and the network of ARON. The precision positions of magnetic data were merged by the post-processing of USBL data of ROV. The obtained three components magnetic data are entirely utilized by finding possible hydrothermal vents of the survey area.

We present the $18{\mu}m$ luminosity function (LF) of galaxies at 0.006 < z < 0.8 (the average redshift is ~ 0.04) using the AKARI mid-infrared All-Sky Survey catalogue. We have selected 243 galaxies at $18{\mu}m$ from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) spectroscopic region. These galaxies then have been classified into five types; Seyfert 1 galaxies (Sy1, including quasars), Seyfert 2 galaxies (Sy2), low ionization narrow emission line galaxies (LINER), galaxies that are likely to contain both star formation and Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) activities (composites), and star forming galaxies (SF) using optical emission lines such as the line width of $H{\alpha}$ or the emission line ratios of [OIII]/$H{\beta}$ and [NII]/$H{\alpha}$. As a result of constructing the LF of Sy1 and Sy2, we found the following results; (i) the number density ratio of Sy2 to Sy1 is $1.64{\pm}0.37$, larger than the results obtained from optical LF and (ii) the fraction of Sy2 in the entire AGN population may decrease with $18{\mu}m$ luminosity. These results suggest that most of the AGNs in the local universe are obscured by dust and the torus structure probably depends on the mid-infrared luminosity.

Since many resources are put into the work of changing the railway operation within limited time, it is important to have a specific work plan and safety management. For this reason, the work schedule is shared in advance, and parallel work is being carried out simultaneously by rail system, such as tracks, trolly wires, and signals. However, due to the nature of the transfer work, the work is carried out at night when the railway operation is finished, and many resources are put into the limited area of the operating line, so the risk of safety accidents and failure to change the operating line is recognized as high. Nevertheless, there is still not enough research done in korea regarding the operation line change construction. Therefore, this study is conducted a survey on the track exchange work of railroad for working people, and analyzed the results of the survey. Finally, a standard work process was suggested to reduce the risk of track exchange work.

Baicalin, a biologically active flavonoid form the roots of Scutallaria baicalensis (Skullcap), have been reported to not only function as anti-oxidants but also cause anticancer effect. We investigated the mechanism of baicalin-induced cytotoxicity and the macro scale gene expression analysis in leukemia cell line, HL-60 cells. Baicalin (10 μM) were used to treat the cells for 6h, 12h, 24h, 48h and 72h. In a human cDNAchip study of 65,000 genes evaluated 6, 12, 24, 48. 72 hours after treated with Baicalin in HL-60 cells. Hierarchical cluster against the genes which showed expression changes by more than two fold. One hundred one genes were grouped into 6 clusters according to their profile of expression by a hierarchical clustering algorithm. For genes differentially expressed in response to baicalin treatment, we tested functional classes based on Gene Ontology (GO) terms. This study provides the most comprehensive available survey of gene expression changes in response to baicalin treatment in HL-60 cell line.

The purpose of this study was improvement of the pants fit for obese women. The results were as follows; 5 obese women in their 20s and 30s were selected for the testing 3D body. They showed no significant differences in all items, comparing with the data of 5th Size Korea body dimensions. The average waist circumstance of the subjects' 3D body dimensions was 87.0 cm and hip circumstance was 102.4 cm, and their obese body types had similar mean values. Based on the survey results and the 3D body dimensions of 5th Size Korea body dimensions, a pants pattern to supplement their body type and improve a fit was designed with waist circumference(88 cm), hip circumference(103 cm), crotch length(27.1 cm), thigh circumference(62 cm), pants length(97 cm), pants hem line circumference(44 cm). Based on the detailed design of ready made pants and the study results of young obese women's preference for pants design, pants of straight silhouette and semi-tight fit which have waist line lowered by 3.5 cm from the waist circumference line, 3.5 cm belt width, no front dart and one back dart, were manufactured with 100% black cotton and cotton spandex mixed fabrics.
